The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)  and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP)issued a joint statement in support of the excellent press statement of Ms Choe Son Hui 1st Vice -Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea;
 On the 27th of August  Pompeo , the US Secretary of State , insulted People' s Korea by saying that he"recognized North Korea's rogue behavior could not be ignored."This is a provocation by the pompous Pompeo and is an attack on the DPRK's independent right to self-defence . After all the US has many missiles and tests them , why shouldn't the DPRK.
 Ms Choe correctly warns the US that such remarks can only diminish the chances of dialogue between the US and DPRK so that the expected DPRK-US talks might not materialise. Moreover Ms Choe says that the DPRK may be compelled to re examine the measures it has taken so far .
  Basically , thanks to the actions of Pompeo the fate of the DPRK-US dialogue is hanging in the balance with the danger of the situation reverting back to tension and confrontation.
 If the US knows what is good for it , it will desist from such remarks . We strongly support the just stad of the DPRK to defend its independence and its interests .

Press Statement by First Vice-Foreign Minister of DPRK

                           

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, first vice-foreign minister of the DPRK, released the following statement on Saturday:

A series of awful remarks provoking us is recently heard from the upper echelons of the U.S. administration.

U.S. State Secretary Pompeo again irritated us by spouting such unreasonable words on Aug. 27 that the U.S. "recognized North Korea's rogue behavior could not be ignored."

What he uttered to seriously insult us by even using such phrase as "rogue behavior" is just improper language, for which the U.S. administration will surely regret.

Pompeo has gone so far in his language and it made the opening of the expected DPRK-U.S. working-level negotiations more difficult. It, moreover, added to the Korean people's bad blood toward Americans.

Our expectations of dialogue with the U.S. are gradually disappearing and we are being pushed to reexamine all the measures we have taken so far.

We are very curious about the background of the American top diplomat's thoughtless remarks and we will watch what calculations he has.

The U.S. had better not put any longer our patience to the test with such remarks irritating us if it doesn't want to have bitter regrets afterwards. -0-

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Inspects Yangdok County Hot Spring Resort under Construction

Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, gave field guidance to the construction site of the Yangdok County Hot Spring Resort.

Making rounds of various places of the construction site of the hot spring resort for a long time, Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un said with satisfaction that the characteristics of nature and topography were well preserved and a peculiar resort was formed in good harmony with the surrounding environment as planned by the Party and the section and arrangement are practical and every building is impeccable in view of architectural beauty.

Saying that the sphere of a new cultural and emotional life in which skiing ground is combined with hot-spring recreation ground was created, he noted with pleasure that the Yangdok County Hot Spring Resort is the edifice in which the people-first principle-based architectural idea of the Party is fully embodied and everything serves the people and their demand is met, and if the resort is once completed, it will become a cultural recreation ground for the people that a lot of people love to visit.

Pointing out that we should inscribe the proud picture of Korean-style socialist system even in such small-sized edifices and help the people more deeply cherish a great pride and patriotism through the daily-changing appearance of the prosperous and highly civilized country, he earnestly called for giving the people the Yangdok County Hot Spring Resort completed on the highest level as a gift by doing the finishing work qualitatively and tactfully.

Saying that it is necessary to start the operation in December this year by making full preparations for the operation of the hot-spring recreation and medical treatment facilities and taking a thorough step for supply of sporting goods to the skiing ground, he repeatedly stressed the need to qualitatively complete the project and for the relevant domain to make full preparations for the service so that the people who visit the resort may not feel a slight inconvenience.

Enjoying a bird's-eye view of the construction site, he said that he visited the resort under construction after a gap of four months, but he did not know where he stood as it underwent a dramatic change, that solider-builders finished a project as large as the building of a city at lightning speed. Noting that it is quite right to entrust the unit which has the strongest fighting capacity in the People's Army with construction, he said that the unit carries out the construction like the specialized construction unit and it is, indeed, a mighty unit.

Noting that the plan of the Party has been carried out by the People's Army which accepts the Party's plan and intention as the absolute truth and always carries them out unconditionally and devotedly, he said that he regards it as his greatest joy and pride to pave the road of revolution together with such army.

Saying that all the builders including the provincial people, shock brigade members and railway workers, and officials and workers in charge of supplying construction materials have taken particular trouble, he asked commanding officers of the unit to convey his satisfaction and greetings to all the builders and encouraged them.

He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

Second Session of 14th Supreme People's Assembly of DPRK Held

                                     

Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The 2nd Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Thursday.

On some amendments and supplements to the Socialist Constitution of the DPRK.

Organizational matters

Deputy Choe Ryong Hae, president of the SPA Presidium, made a report on the first agenda item.

He said that the session would examine and adopt draft amendments and supplements to the Socialist Constitution of the DPRK in order to provide a firm legal guarantee for stepping up the building of a powerful socialist nation more dynamically under the monolithic guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

He recalled that for a long time since its adoption the Socialist Constitution has successfully performed its revolutionary mission and role as a legal weapon for strictly ensuring the monolithic guidance of the leader over the revolution and construction and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un despite the stern tempest of history.

He said that the issue concerning the authority of the state organs in Chapter 6 "State Machinery" of the Socialist Constitution has been partly modified and supplemented.

Referring to the legal status and authority of the chairman of the State Affairs Commission (SAC) of the DPRK, he said an article stipulating that the SAC chairman is elected at the Supreme People's Assembly in accordance with the unanimous will of all the Korean people and the SAC chairman is not elected as deputy to SPA was added to the constitution. It constitutionally fixes the status of the SAC chairman as the supreme leader of the Party, state and armed forces of the DPRK elected in accordance with the unanimous will and desire of all the Korean people, both in name and reality, he pointed out.

Noting that a new paragraph concerning the duty and authority of the SAC chairman has been supplemented, he said the paragraph stipulates that the SAC chairman is authorized to promulgate SPA ordinances and major SAC decrees and decisions and to appoint or recall diplomatic envoys to foreign countries.

Therefore, the legal status of the chairman of the SAC of the DPRK representing our state has been further consolidated to firmly ensure the monolithic guidance of the Supreme Leader over all the state affairs, he stressed.

He went on:

The modification and supplementation of the duty and authority of the SAC, including the stipulation that it supervises and takes measures for the implementation of the orders given by the chairman of the SAC of the DPRK and the decrees, decisions and instructions made by the SAC, further cemented the legal authority of the SAC as the pivotal body materializing the monolithic guidance of the Supreme Leader and further perfected our own style state administration system.

Then, he referred to the basic contents of the draft amendments and supplements to the Socialist Constitution including the modification, supplementation and adjustment of some contents stipulating the duty and authority of the Presidium of the SPA and the authority of the SPA.

He submitted the draft amendments and supplements to Socialist Constitution for the examination at the SPA, considering that they would provide a sure legal guarantee for the monolithic leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un over all the state affairs and augmentation of our people's power and the all-people advance for building a powerful socialist country.

Ordinance of the SPA of the DPRK "On some amendments and supplements to the Socialist Constitution of the DPRK" was adopted with unanimous approbation at the session.

The second agenda item was discussed.

Upon authorization of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Deputy Kim Yong Dae was recalled from the post of vice-president of the Presidium of the SPA and Deputy Pak Yong Il, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Social Democratic Party, was by-elected vice-president of the Presidium of the SPA.

Deputy Jang Se Chol, chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, was by-elected member of the Legislation Committee of the SPA.

At the suggestion of the premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Son Yong Hun was newly appointed as secretary general of the Cabinet. -0-

  Recently the UK , France and Germany  raised the issue of missile launches by the DPRK at the UN Security Council and issued a three nation " joint statement". This was of course a blatant interference it the DPRK's right to self -defence as well as being extremely hypocritical as all three countries  all have missiles .
 As the statement  says "The United Kingdom, France and Germany are meddling every time with our self-defensive measures for arms modernization. These are preposterous actions which no one will ever understand."
  The UNSC resolutions against the DPRK which the three nation statement refers to  are all  illegal and have been rejected by the DPRK so it is a ridiculous act for some countries to try and hold the DPRK to account over these resolutions.
 What is worse is that the UK , France and Germany have all sold weapons to south Korea which is one of the world's biggest military spenders . It is blatantly absurd for the three countries concerned to denounce the DPRK for taking self-defensive measures .
  The best thing is for the three European countries to mind their own business and not poke their noses into the DPRK's affairs . Relations based on mutual respect and non-interference should be developed.

Press Statement Issued by Adviser from Korea-Europe Association

Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Son Gyong, adviser from the Korea-Europe Association released the following statement on Thursday:

The United Kingdom, France and Germany, which were recently denouncing our regular military exercises and self-defensive measures as "provocation" or "violation of resolutions" of the UN Security Council, brought the issue to the UN Security Council and released a so-called 3-state "joint statement" on August 27.

The United Kingdom, France and Germany are meddling every time with our self-defensive measures for arms modernization. These are preposterous actions which no one will ever understand.

The UNSC "resolutions" targeting the DPRK - which these countries employ as a yardstick for denouncing the DPRK - are no less than illegal and inhumane documents that prove to flagrantly violate the UN Charter and other universally recognized international laws and trample the rights to self-defense and survival of the sovereign state, and accordingly, we have never acknowledged them.

The DPRK harbors a bitter historical lesson whereby the whole of country had been subjected to the beasts of Japanese imperialism for over 40 years because of the absence of strength to defend itself and again turned into the debris as a result of the catastrophe caused by war.

There will be no greater mistake if they think that we, the DPRK, will be forced to give up our self-defensive right for ensuring peace, by being weighed down with such irrational documents in all their entirety.

One should defend one's own security by oneself. This has become much more apparent by those countries whose destinies were hacked to pieces by the western powers as they had yielded to the latter's demand for disarmament under the pressure and appeasement of "international society." This is again further evidenced by the international relations of today where the weak can hardly appeal to anybody, though attacked by the strong.

Those countries, which took issue with us, have in effect lost their faces to "condemn" anybody as they became so hungry for money as to sell off their military equipment to south Korea, though habitually saying that they want peace and security on the Korean peninsula.

These countries are rushing to pick up an unreasonable quarrel with us over our measures for developing conventional weapons, while deliberately turning their faces away from the military exercises and the introduction of latest lethal weapons in south Korea. They need to wake up to the reality that such an indiscreet and unreasonable act will only delay the point of time for dialogue which they so much desire to see.

It is our stand to develop the relations with the European countries on good terms. But this should, under any circumstances, be based on mutual respect for each other's sovereignty.

The United Kingdom, France and Germany should get rid of their rigid and prejudiced way of thinking and help to ease tensions and ensure peace on the Korean peninsula. If they are not able to do so, it would be better to keep silence and mind their own turbulent businesses instead. -0-

KCNA Commentary Ridicules LKP's Wild Ambition for Power

Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Of late, the "Liberal Korea Party" of south Korea on the verge of ruin is busy rallying like-minded forces under the signboard of "great unification of the conservatives."

Hwang Kyo An, representative of the party, said that "all conservative right-wingers should pool their efforts and share the same intention to check the tyranny of Moon Jae In." Ra Kyong Won, floor leader of the party, calls for merging with "Parun Mirae Party".

These are nothing but a political trickery for realizing their ambition to seize power.

To look back on history, the group of conservatives has worked hard to extend the influence of its party while raking up even conservatives antagonistic towards each other with the "presidential election", elections to the local self-governing bodies and others as occasions.

The same is the purpose sought by the "Liberal Korea Party" in calling for "mega-merging of the conservatives".

After the Park Geun Hye "government" was impeached by the candlelight demonstrators, the south Korean conservative group has faced the most serious crisis.

Under the situation where they have support rate going into tailspin even in Taegu and North Kyongsang Provincial region, the place called the stronghold of the conservatives, it is as clear as noonday that it is difficult to expect their coming back to power.

In the final analysis, the "mega-merging of the conservatives" much touted by the "Liberal Korea Party" aims at finding its way out of rock-bottom by gathering the scattered conservative remnants and laying a springboard for coming back to power in the election of the "National Assembly" next year.

But the sinister intention of the traitors group only boomerangs on them now.

The more loudly they call for the "mega-merging of the conservatives", the more openly the greed of Hwang Kyo An and his group for power is revealed and the more serious the factional conflict and contradiction get.

It is not difficult to guess what consequences will be entailed in case of leaving the traitors group, seized with usurpation of "power" irrespective of the will and demand of the people, reviving.

It is clear that the second Park Geun Hye regime will be created, bringing the clouds of a war to hang over the Korean peninsula and driving the south Korean economy and people's livelihood to a catastrophe.

Therefore, the south Korean people ranging from schoolchildren to the aged are waging a more dynamic struggle to dismantle the group of conservatives, chanting slogans "Arrest the remnants of Park Geun Hye" and "Dismantle the LKP seeking south-north confrontation and war."

It is a warning to the conservative group that they had better give up the dream which will inevitably bring about its ruin.

The south Korean people from all walks of life will certainly take to the grave of history the LKP group which makes desperate efforts to bring back the dark age. -0-

Housing in People's Korea

                                       

Recently a certain traitor to the DPRK admitted that he had enjoyed a very good life when he was in the DPRK . He had a flat of a 130 sq metres, A flat in the centre of London can cost up to £1,100,000 plus annual service charges.
As a matter of fact since the end of the 1980s the average size of flats constructed in Pyongyang has been from 120 to 180 sq metres.
These are distributed to people virtually free of charge .There no deposits , no greedy freeholders raking in huge profits etc. A UK KFA delegation was told by their guide that she got a new flat one year after getting married rather than either having to pay a literal fortune to buy a place or waiting forever on so-called 'social housing ' lists.

Japanese Imperialists' Heinous Plunder of Rice from Korea

Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The Japanese imperialists committed an indelible crime of plundering rice from Korea after illegally occupying it in the last century.

They, regarding the rice plunder as the most important link for realizing their colonial economic predatory policy, took away 487 000 soks (one sok is equal to approximately 5 bushels) of rice in 1910 and 500 000 soks of rice in 1911.

They proclaimed the "rule for Korean rice conditioning" in February 1913 and adopted it as their policy to overcome the shortage of rice in Japan by plundering Korea of rice.

According to the rule, the Korean peasants were deprived of 2.3 million soks of rice in 1914 and 2.8 million soks of rice in 1919.

Ushering in the 1920s, the Japanese imperialists staged on a full scale the rice plunder by working out "the plan for the increased production of grain".

Due to the predatory policy of the Japanese imperialists, the Korean people were at the risk of starvation and poverty.

After occupying Manchuria by fabricating the September 18 incident in 1931, the Japanese imperialists compelled the Korean peasants to accept the "grain delivery" and collected food by mobilizing repressive organs in order to satisfy the military provisions for invading the continent.

So, nearly 10 million soks of rice were shipped to Japan in 1931.

In the closing years of the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule, Korea was turned into a famine-stricken zone and reptiles and amphibians were used for food.

As seen above, the Japanese imperialists are the looters and gangsters who took away everything precious of Korea. -0-

KCNA Commentary Warns Japan against Military Moves

Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The Japan Defence Ministry recently announced that it officially decided to introduce F-35B to the air "Self-defence Force".

This senseless act is aimed to bolster the attack ability of the SDF and turn the country into a military power and realize its overseas expansion at any cost.

The introduction of the fighter also aims at the operation of carrier-level Izmo escort ship.

Military experts contend that the combination of F-35B with an attack landing ship will help the fleet acquire "qualitative surge" in attack capability, commenting that their overall combat power will be no less than U.S. carrier equipped with F/A-18E/F.

Japan armed the air SDF with the state-of-the art fighter and made naval SDF's possession of a carrier a fait accompli. This shows the true colors of Japan as an aggressor country which has thrown off its mask of "exclusive defence" that had been so far kept for mere form's sake.

Japan rushes headlong into a war state to inflict disaster on humankind again, clean indifferent to the trend of the regional situation.

Under the excuse of coping with "threats" from someone, the Abe group has increased the military spending to hit the historical high for seven consecutive years and recently announced that it would include record over 5 300 billion yen to the estimate budget for next year.

By setting up a "space operational force" with the basic mission of constantly monitoring space and an electronic warfare unit in ground SDF, Japan intends to expand the military operational theatre of the SDF to space and cyber space, to say nothing of the sky, the land and the sea.

Today the SDF have turned into aggression forces capable of fighting a war at any time in any place beyond the boundary of the archipelago.

It is the invariable ambition of the Abe group to retake the status of former colonial power with samurai descendents overheated with reinvasion aboard carriers equipped with preemptive attack capabilities under the fluttering "flag of rising sun shedding rays" as the Japanese imperialists did in the last century.

Too much obsession with ambition will lead to ruin.

It is a lesson taught by the shameful defeat of Japan that defiance of people's warnings, greed for aggression and reckless frenzy will bring only miserable ruin.

Not only the Asian people who underwent pain and misfortune at the hands of the Japanese imperialists in the past but also the international community will never remain an onlooker to Japan's moves for becoming a military power and the unrestricted overseas advance of SDF.

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  , and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a statement today on the DPRK's 7th successful missile test;
 On the 24th of August the DPRK in the presence of dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , the Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army carried out the successful test of a newly developed super-large multiple rocket launcher. This was the 7th missile test since July. It is really amazing and a wonder to behold that the DPRK is carrying out missile tests at such a fast rate.
   The successful test is a victory for Juche and Songun .It is shaking the hostile forces that try to stifle and crush the DPRK. The test defies the imperialists , revisionists and great power chauvinists. At the same time it is the independent right of the DPRK to test missiles which no one can interfere in.
  Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN explained the significance of the test.
Each Juche weapon developed and completed by us reflects the greatness of the Workers' Party of Korea which provided powerful war deterrent capable of firmly defending Korean-style socialism with the responsibility for the destiny and future of the country and the people and the noble loyalty of our national defence scientists who have unsparingly devoted their blood and sweats of patriotism true to the leadership of the Party.

We believe that the DPRK will win final victory .We too take inspiration from the missile test and congratulate Juche Korea !

Juche 50 (1961)

9.11: Great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, sun of the nation, set forth a programmatic guideline to found a vanguard party of the people in the historic speech made at the 4th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

Great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung clarified as follows.

“The people in south Korea must have an independent workers’ and peasants’ party, a party deeply rooted in the broad masses, and they must win legal status for it.

This political party to be organized by the working people in south Korea will have to unite all patriotic forces and fight for the realization of a thoroughly anti-imperialist, anti-feudal program, and for the satis­faction of the urgent demands of the south Korean people.”



9.0: The south Korean revolutionaries put forward the Juche-oriented line of the party building that the party to be founded should be firstly, a revolutionary party based on the revolutionary idea, the Juche idea of Comrade Kim Il Sung, as its guideline, secondly, an independent party of the working people, deeply rooted among the grass-roots including workers and peasants, defending and representing their interests, thirdly, a vanguard of the workers’ class fighting for accomplishing the tasks of anti-imperialist national liberation and anti-feudal democratic revolution.



Juche 53 (1964)

3.15: Comrades Kin Jong-tae, Choi Young-do, Lee Moon-gyu and Kim Jil-rak formed the Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the Revolutionary Party for Reunification in Seoul, adopted a declaration for preparing the foundation of the party and the 14-point immediate struggle task.

The members of the Preparatory Committee took an oath for founding the party.

In the declaration for founding the party, they clarified that the RPR, a revolutionary organization which takes the revolutionary idea, the Juche idea of Comrade Kim Il Sung, great sun of the nation, as its only guiding ideology, and fights to defend the rights and interests of workers, peasants and intellectuals, the main forces of the society, inherits the glorious revolutionary traditions of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, and its aim of struggle is to drive out the US imperialist aggressors, overthrow the military fascist regime and build a new democratic system upon it and furthermore, achieve the country’s reunification.

And the 14-point immediate struggle task defined the issues of forming a revolutionary organizations among the working people including workers and peasants, preparing the leading core through the struggle, implanting the party cores in the existing legal organizations and shifting them to outer organizations of the party, forming an anti-imperialist anti-dictatorship united front, disintegrating and wining the south Korean Army, the equal rights between the sexes and the education of the people.



3.20: The Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR held a meeting of its leading members.

In the meeting, the participants defined the establishment of the ideological system of Juche in building the RPR as a main principle for consolidating the ideological and organizational basis of the party, and laid down a line of the party activities to concentrate its efforts to ensure the unity and purity of ideas and intention of the party organizations under the banner of the Juche idea.



3.0: The Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR fully exposed the reactionary nature and the treacherous character of the south Korea-Japan talks, the wicked purpose of the US and Japan behind the talks and the pro-Japanese traitorous acts of Park Chung-hee who sold the country to the US master and intended to do the same for the Japanese, and called on different patriotic forces and all anti-Park Chung-hee anti-government forces to a nation-wide struggle against the talks.

An RPR organization at Seoul National University raised the first beacon fire of the struggle against the south Korea-Japanese talks along with patriotic students of the College of Liberal Arts and Science.

The struggle to smash the March 24 south Korea-Japanese talks, spread among the students of all universities in Seoul, prevailed the whole of south Korea including Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Incheon like a wildfire and developed into an anti-government struggle in April and May.

At that moment, the Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR set forward the action slogan to overthrow the Park regime and led the demonstrations of the uprising masses to a mass anti-government revolt.



6.3: The RPR organizations and members propelled the situation to a decisive phase like that of the April 19 People's Uprising, completely controlling the riot police in the area of the Capitol Building and the National Assembly together with the uprising people.



8.0: The legal monthly magazine “Chongmaek”(green barley) was published.

It played the role as an acute and strong ideological weapon and an educator of the people, which inculcated the awareness of Juche, the spirit of independence, self-reliance and the national pride and self-respect into the people from different social standings, and condemned flunkeyism of traitor Park Chung-hee group toward the US and Japan and its pro-US pro-Japanese treachery.

(“Chongmaek” was legally published by 44,000 copies till its 28th issue in April 1967.)



Juche 54 (1965)

1.0: Lawful and illegal mass organizations grouping different social sections including the Bachelors’ Bar, the Research Society of Nationalism, the Association of Chongmaek, the Research Society of New Culture, the Association of Young Literary Men, the Buddhist Youth Association, the Economic Welfare Society of the Christian Youth and Gyeongwoo-hoe, were formed in succession.



Juche 55 (1966)

1.0: The Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR formed the Front for the Liberation of the Fatherland and the Front of the National Liberation, unlawful united front organizations.



10.0: The RPR Seoul City Committee chaired by comrade Kim Jong-tae in Seoul and Incheon area and the RPR Cheonnam Province Committee chaired by comrade Choi Young-do in the Honam area and other provincial and regional leaderships were formed one after another.



12.0: Unlawful secret newspaper “Hyokmyong Chonson” (revolutionary front) was mimeographed as an educational material for the party members.

The RPR organizations established the ideological system of the party on the basis of the monolithic idea, solidified the organizational unity and enhanced the national independence awareness and the revolutionary awareness among the party members through the “Hyokmyong Chonson”.



Juche 56 (1967)

6.0: The RPR Seoul City Committee and other party organizations launched a campaign to nullify the June 8 fraudulent elections as soon as the Park Chung-hee clique made public the election returns.



7.9: The RPR organizations guided more active anti-fascist democratization struggle on the occasion of the July 1 inauguration of traitor Park Chung-hee as president and upgraded it into anti-US anti-Japanese struggle to reject south Korea visits of the US vice-president and the Japanese Prime Minister.



Juche 57 (1968)

7.0: The Park Chung-hee fascist clique triggered the “Incident of the RPR”.

Some party organizations in Seoul City and South Cheonnam Province were destroyed and core cadres including comrades Kim Jong-tae, Choi Young-do, Kim Jil-rak, Lee Moon-gyu, Chung Tae-mook, Yoon Sang-soo and many other organization members, different patriotic people were arrested by the reactionary offensive of the military fascist dictators.

The fascist hangmen inflicted atrocious torture and brutal torment upon the arrested members of the RPR organizations.

However, the arrested comrades incessantly conducted the indomitable struggle even in the prison and turned the court room into a court of judgment condemning the US imperialists and the puppet clique.

The members of the RPR organizations including comrades Kim Jong-tae and Choi Young-do kept the revolutionary fidelity at the cost of their lives and glorified their political life as the revolutionaries of Juche type in the in-prison struggle and the struggle in the trial.



Juche 58 (1969)

1.0: The Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR and other party organizations dauntlessly waged struggle to smash the Park Chung-hee clique’ plot to revise the constitution for the third term of the presidentship, holding higher the banner of anti-fascist democratization from the outset of 1969.



1.25: Comrade Choi Young-do, chairman of the RPR South Cheonnam Province Committee heroically died in prison.



7.10: Comrade Kim Jong-tae, chairman of the RPR Seoul City Committee heroically died in prison.



8.25: A historical inaugural convention of the Revolutionary Party for Reunification was held in Seoul with the attending of the representatives of provincial and some city and county leaderships of the party.

The participants listened to the report reviewing the activities of the Preparatory Committee for the Foundation of the RPR for the past 5 years and seriously discussed the subjects on the agenda.

The convention demonstrated the inevitability of making the revolution for sovereignty and independence in south Korea under the US colonial fascist rule, and emphasized that the south Korean revolution, based on the truth that a revolution could not be exported or imported, should be carried out by the active role of the south Korean people and the people of all strata should gain sovereignty and independence by waging a decisive struggle with the status as the master of the revolution.

The convention mentioned the position and role of the party in the revolutionary struggle and the historical necessity of founding the RPR, and clarified the firm stance that the RPR, from the viewpoint of its character and militant tasks, should be a party of a new type, distinguished from the existing political parties and groups and to this end, it should take the great Juche idea as its only guideline far from unrealistic theories and ideas, and a class vanguard fighting to represent and defend the interests of the working people including workers’ class and peasants, the key forces of the society.

On the basis of the revolutionary theory of Juche, the convention made clear the final and present aims of the party, and the nature and tasks, main forces and targets of the south Korean revolution.

The convention stressed that the party should be strengthened organizationally and ideologically and the powerful revolutionary forces should be prepared in order to discharge the party’s mission with credit and attached a special importance to the issue of intensifying the party’s political propagandizing.

The convention discussed the platform and declaration of the party and unanimously adopted them and decided to make public the existence of the RPR throughout the world by announcing the party’s platform and declaration.

The foundation of the RPR was a historic event of an epochal significance in the development of the movement of vanguard organization and the revolution in south Korea.

By the foundation of the RPR, the patriotic people from different social standings including workers and peasants could have their own defender and spokesman and the political staff of the revolution and the south Korean reform movement which had suffered vicissitudes and pains in the past could purposefully advance along the road of Juche.

The foundation of the monolithic RPR with the great Juche idea as its guideline inspired a great deal the world revolutionaries and people fighting for independence.



9.0: The RPR central Committee set forth a line to actively conduct the external activities on the principle of securing the lawful status of the party, winning the supporters and sympathizers for the south Korean reform movement and consolidating the international solidarity with the world progressives.



Juche 59 (1970)

1.0: The RPR central Committee took an important step to intensify the political propagandizing of the party holding fast to the Juche idea as its guideline.

It settled the struggle to positively contribute to accomplishing the south Korean revolution and achieve the historic triumph of the Juche idea in south Korea under the banner of the Juche idea, as the mission and task of the party’s political propagandizing.

And it clarified the main direction of the political propagandizing to let the south Korean revolutionaries and different people regard the Juche idea as their faith and weapons of struggle and combine along with it, three elements of patriotism, democracy and class education, giving priority to propagandizing the great Juche idea, the only guideline of the party.

It decided to publish the “Hyokmyong Chonson”, the party’s organ, and set up an underground broadcasting station as a powerful clandestine political propaganda system.



4.0: The RPR Central Committee took an organizational measure to send instructions to the party organizations in different levels urging them to hold fast to the principle of conducting the reform movement relying only on the Juche idea, the principal idea of the times, for it was impossible to do so with outdated ideas.



6.1: The “Hyokmyong Chonson”, the organ of the RPR Central Committee, was continuously published.

“The Voice of the RPR", the clandestine broadcast of the RPR, began to transmit the radio wave of Juche.



Juche 60 (1971)

8.1: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement in regard to the a heroic riot by the citizens and 50,000 farmers in the Gwangju housing area in Gyeonggi Province, protesting against the cruel exploitation and oppression of the Park Chung-hee clique, the US puppet.



10.16: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement denouncing the Park Chung-hee military fascist clique which invoked the Garrison Decree under the pretext of “the threat of southward aggression” and “maintenance of school order”.



12.8: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement denouncing the Park Chung-hee clique which declared the “state of emergency” on December 6 on the pretence of the “threat of southward aggression”.



12.29: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement to dismiss the “Law on a special measure for the defense of the state”, an unprecedented fascist evil law,  concocted by Park Chung-hee, the hooligan, at the dawn of December 27.



Juche 61 (1972)

7.5: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement supporting the historic July 4 South-North Joint Statement, a great charter of the national reunification.



7.15: Comrade Kim Jil-rak heroically died in prison.



Juche 62 (1973)

6.20: The RPR Central Committee published a “bill indicting the war criminals again” to convict the crimes of the US imperialists, the atrocious war criminals, and their stooges on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the June 25 Korean War.



7.1: The RPR Central Committee published a “RPR’s declaration of national salvation and reunification” as regards the then situation underscoring 1, to smash the Yusin system and the fascist despotism of the Park Chung-hee clique and achieve a democratic development of the south Korean society 2, to reject the outside forces, restore the national sovereignty and realize the independent development of the south Korean society 3, to relieve the military confrontation, ease the tension between the south and the north and vigorously struggle to check the perpetuation of the country’s division and reunify the country 4, to make efforts to form a united anti-fascist national salvation and reunification front rallying all political forces of south Korea which oppose the Fuhrer-like Yusin system and aspire after the peaceful reunification.



8.10: The RPR Central Committee issued a supporting statement as regards the formation of the “People's Association to Promote the Restoration of Democracy in South Korea and the Reunification” in Tokyo, Japan, by democratic figures at home and abroad.



8.16: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement denouncing the authorities’ suppression on the members of the RPR North Gyeongsang Province Committee and the affiliated organizations.

The Park Chung-hee military fascist clique cruelly suppressed the RPR North Gyeongsang Province Committee and the affiliated organizations which had conducted patriotic activities of the reunification revolution for some 10 years, by the “Incident of Ullung-do spy network”.

 * The south Korean military fascist clique destroyed the RPR organizations in Gyeonggi Province, Honam area, South Chungcheong Province and Seoul area and committed atrocities of arresting, imprisoning and executing the party members and other patriotic people more than 10 times in the period from October 1969 to November 1979 only.



11.18: The RPR central Committee issued a supporting statement as regards the proposal of the north Korean political parties to convene a great national meeting.



Juche 63 (1974)

2.1: The RPR Central Committee issued a “declaration of anti-Japanese anti-treachery struggle” to expose and oppose the reinvasion ambition of the Japanese militarists on south Korea.



6.13: A plenary session of the RPR Central Committee was held.

It discussed first the grave situation created by the outrageous violence of Yusin dictator Park Chung-hee.

It branded and denounced the Yusin system of Park as the cruelest unheard-of repressive system, and the most wicked anti-nation anti-reunification divisionist system, and pointed out that realizing democracy against the Yusin system is a unanimous intention and will and a call of the history of the nation.

The plenary session settled as immediate main objective the struggle to realize a firm solidarity with all anti-Yusin anti-Park forces, topple the Yusin dictatorship and establish a democratic coalition government.

It regarded further strengthening the party organizationally and ideologically as a crucial matter and emphasized that the members should accelerate the modeling of the party ranks on the Juche idea, go deep into workers and peasants sharing sweets and bitters with them and increase the leadership ability and influence on the mass struggle in a more experienced and seasoned manner on the principle of keeping the vigilant unlawful attitude.



7.28: The RPR Central Committee published an appeal addressed to international democratic organizations, democratic parties and social organizations and the people over the world in connection with the ever-frenzied execution acts of the Park Chung-hee fascist clique against the RPR members, patriotic youth and students and democratic figures.



8.21: The RPR Central Committee issued immediate struggle slogans of the RPR on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of its foundation.



8.25: The RPR Central Committee published a 25-point immediate struggle program focusing on 1, sweeping the Yusin dictatorship and democratizing the social and political life 2, eradicating the social roots of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, and ensuring the people's right to existence 3, cleaning up the corruption and setting a sound democratic way of life 4, rejecting the foreign intervention and defending the national independence and self-reliance 5, smashing the moves to perpetuate the national division and hastening the independent and peaceful reunification.



Juche 64 (1975)

2.0: The RPR Central Committee put forward a line to model the RPR ranks on the Juche idea.

Modeling the RPR ranks on the Juche idea meant preparing all party members to be true Juche-type revolutionaries boundlessly loyal to the cause of Juche and the revolutionary cause of reunification, and at the same time it meant conducting the party building and activities according to the requirements of the Juche idea.

The RPR Central Committee enterprisingly conducted the organizational and political works among the party members holding fast to modeling the RPR ranks on the Juche idea as the overall task of the party activities.



2.0: The RPR Central Committee set forth a propaganda line to vividly disseminate the Juche idea in close link with the south Korean reality in the political propagandizing to awaken the people's consciousness, and improve the forms and methods of the propaganda work as a whole.



4.9: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement denouncing the nefarious atrocity of the Park Chung-hee clique which mercilessly killed those related to the “Incident of People's Revolutionary Party”.



4.18: In Tokyo, Japan, influential Korean residents affiliated to the (pro-Seoul) Federation of Korean Residents in Japan formed the Solidarity Committee of the RPR.

In the inaugural ceremony, a prospectus, an open letter to the RPR Central Committee and an appeal to all compatriots in the homeland were adopted.

The solidarity committee affirmed that it would support the tenets and activities of the RPR, widely introduce their validity among the compatriots and the international community, and struggle to oppose all kinds of suppression of the Park dictatorial regime against the RPR and legalize it.



Juche 65 (1976)

3.11: The RPR Spokesman issued a statement denouncing the cruelty of the Park clique which was suppressing democratic figures involved in the “Incident of the Declaration of Democracy and Salvation”.



5.15: The Propaganda Department of the RPR Central Committee published an article titled “Let us burn away the stronghold of the 15 year-long fascist dictatorship” to condemn the crimes of the May 16 military coup d’etat by the Park Chung-hee clique 15 years ago, and call for anti-Park struggle.



11.23: The RPR Central Committee issued the “White paper on the irregularities and corruption of traitor Park Chung-hee, ringleader of bribery”.



12.12: The Propaganda Department of the RPR Central Committee published an article entitled “Let us launch the resistance for democracy and salvation” supporting the bold young intellectuals of Seoul National University who raised the beacon fire of anti-Yusin struggle.



Juche 66 (1977)

2.1: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement in response to the letter north Korean political parties and civic organizations sent to the south Korean political parties, organizations and people on the measures to hasten the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.



2.21: The RPR Central Committee issued the “White paper on the problem of the south Korean food” as regards the fact that south Korea was reduced to a chronic famine-stricken country due to the US colonization policy of south Korea and the reactionary anti-people agricultural policy of the Park clique.



5.27: The RPR Central Committee issued the “White paper on the issue of the south Korean human rights” to disclose the fact that south Korea, the US colony, was reduced to a barren land of human rights.



7.0: The RPR Central Committee took a positive step to expand the scope of the party’s lawful activity in the international arena and win the substantial international support and sympathy to the just patriotic struggle of the different people in south Korea.



7.27: “Hyokmyong Chonson”, the organ of the RPR Central Committee carried its editorial office’s discourse titled “Arguing the aggressive structure of American imperialism”.

7.5: The RPR Central Committee issued a statement denouncing the crime of forging the returns of the presidential election by the Park Chung-hee clique.



11.4: The RPR Central Committee issued the “White paper on the south Korean economy” to disclose the subordination, malformation and bankruptcy of the south Korean economy and the people's wretched economic plight.



Juche 68 (1979)

2.27: The RPR spokesman issued a statement denouncing the Park Chung-hee clique’s move of slandering the broadcast “the Voice of the RPR”.



6.16: The RPR Central Committee issued a memorandum to divulge the fact that US President Carter had not kept his election promise since he took office before two and half years, on the occasion of his south Korea visit and summit talks.



8.0: The RPR Central Committee decided to announce the party’s organizational frame inside and outside the country through making public some organs of the central leadership including the Standing Committee, the Organization and Propaganda Department, Youth and Student Department of the party’s CC, and the staff structure.



8.25: The RPR Central Committee issued slogans on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the party’s foundation, to put forward the overthrowing of the Yusin dictatorship as an action slogan in conformity with the prevailing situation of the mass struggle, and call upon the anti-Yusin anti-Park forces for resolutely turning out in the nation-wide struggle for democracy and salvation.



9.29: The RPR Spokesman issued a statement denouncing the Park Chung-hee clique which demanded death penalty and severe punishment for the patriots arrested in connection with the “Incident of Rebuilding the RPR”.



10.18: The RPR Spokesman issued a statement denouncing the Park Chung-hee fascist clique which proclaimed the emergency martial law in Busan area and brutally cracked down on an anti-government riot of patriotic students and citizens of Busan on October 15.



10.19: The RPR Central Committee issued the “Appeal to the south Korean people” to strongly call for intensifying the resistance against Park Chug-hee’s Yusin tyranny.



10.29: : The RPR Spokesman issued a statement as regards the assassination of traitor Park Chung-hee, the fascists dictator, on October 25, calling to direct the spearhead of the resistance to the desperate moves of the US imperialists and the Yusin fascist militarists.



12.28: The RPR Central Committee published a letter addressed to governments, political parties, organizations of different countries the world over and the international organizations to draw their attention to the desperate moves of the Yusin remnants, the US and Japan, appealing to them for support and solidarity to the south Korean people.



Juche 69 (1980)

3.0: The RPR Central Committee laid down a line to set up its missions which would legally function abroad.



4.18: An inaugural meeting of Japan Mission of the RPR was held in Tokyo.

The RPR Japan Mission issued an inaugural declaration in the meeting.

The declaration made clear the purpose of setting up the mission as achieving a great turn in the south Korean people's struggle by affording deep understanding for the validity of the party’s activities and contributing to strengthening the leadership ability of the party through conducting active representation of the RPR at abroad.

It also clarified that the RPR Japan Mission struggles to win extensive international support and sympathy to the cause of anti-imperialist national liberation of the RPR and the south Korean people.



4.19: The RPR Central Committee issued the “April declaration for democratization” to present the direction and ways to sweep the Yusin remnants and establish a nation-wide coalition government in accordance with the call of the rapidly changing situation and the people's volition of democratization, and led the people of different social strata to implement it.

The declaration emphasized that they should 1, liquidate the anti-democratic Yusin system immediately and entirely 2, enact a true democratic constitution representing the people's will 3, establish a new democratic coalition government based on a nation-wide united front 4, hasten the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.



5.22: The RPR spokesman issued a statement to support the armed mass uprising of patriotic people in South Cheolla Province including Mokpo following Gwangju on May 18, denouncing the cruelty of the Chun Doo-hwan clique which declared the martial law.



5.28: The RPR Central Committee issued the “Appeal to the south Korean people” referring to the fact that the Gwangju popular uprising was suppressed by the Chun Doo-hwan fascist homicidal clique and as a result the situation developed to a convulsive turmoil.

The situation of today when the US and its stooges’ moves of perpetuating the national division and a new war provocation get graver day by day, urges us to further intensify the anti-US salvation resistance.”

The resolution clearly indicated that the conducting of the anti-US national liberation revolution upholding the slogan of independence is the immediate general task of the RPR.

The meeting discussed the declaration of anti-US independence and slogans for anti-US independence and decided to proclaim them, and set forward the direction and task to attach big attention to correctly lead the patriotic people of different social strata aspiring after independence, democracy and reunification to the anti-US national liberation struggle, and to activate the organizational and propaganda activities of the party.

All those gains achieved last year in the movement for independence, democracy and reunification are a brilliant fruition of the ardent worship of the people towards leader Kim Jong Il, the message said and added.

This year the entire people should wage vigorous struggle to oppose the US colonial occupation policy and its interference in the internal affairs of south Korea, withdraw the US troops from this land and check its brigandish pressure and aggressive nuclear war moves against north Korea and its demand to send additional troops of south Korea to Iraq.

Now when the desperate nuclear war moves of the US against north Korea reached an extreme to drive the entire fellow countrymen into a nuclear disaster, the people from all social strata should support and safeguard in every way the Songun politics, the dignity, fortune and destiny of the nation. In particular, they should actively support the just peace-loving and reunification-oriented stand of the north in connection with the six-party talks to solve the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula and oppose the US hostile policy towards north Korea.

The 17th general elections this year will be an important occasion to judge whether the genuine political reform and democratization process would be promoted or fascism be revived in this land.

They should check the desperate moves of the pro-US traitorous forces for a general offensive through unity of rightist conservatives with united and organized struggle of the entire people and hold the general elections without the Grand National Party, the party of thieves, Mafia and fascists, through a struggle to disband it.

The key to carry out the immense tasks of the national democratic movement this year lies in awakening and organizing the people based on correct strategy and tactics.

The leading members of the mass movement should thoroughly arm the people of all walks of life with the independent consciousness, build the mass organizations on the basis of Juche-oriented strategy and tactics, realize solidarity and unity between mass organizations and positively advance slogans and methods of struggle the people can sympathize, thus concluding all struggles with victory.

Feb. 15: The NDFSK spokesman released a statement criticizing south Korea’s measure to dispatch additional troops to Iraq.



Feb. 18: The vice chairman of the NDFSK Central Committee made public a statement marking the 30th anniversary of the proclamation of the program for modeling the whole society on the Juche idea.

The statement noted that leader Kim Jong Il formulated President Kim Il Sung’s revolutionary idea in February Juche 63 (1974) and proclaimed the program for modeling the whole society on the Juche idea on the basis of establishing its essential contents and components as an integral system of idea, theory and method of Juche and scientifically clarified tasks and ways for its implementation.

The declaration said; 1. The south Korean people should hold the candlelight higher until they win in the struggle against the Lee Myung-bak regime, 2. Develop the anti-Lee Myung-bak struggle into the anti-US independent struggle, 3. Let us conduct the struggle against Lee Myung-bak with movement for reunification.



Jul. 21: The AINDF spokesman made public a statement denouncing Japan’s wild ambition to grab Dok islet, an inviolable territory of Korea.



Jul.27: The AINDF spokesman released a statement marking the 55th anniversary of north Korea’s victory in the Korean War.

The south Korean people from all walks of life should vigorously wage the struggle to drive out the US troops from south Korea, the source of all kinds of misfortune and misery and the ringleader of the aggression and war, the statement said and stressed that the south Korean people from all walks of life should ostracize the pro-US conservative ruling forces that are hell-bent on the inter-Korean confrontation and war moves against north Korea in collusion with the foreign force, denying the historic June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration.

Aug. 25: The vice-chairman of the AINDF Central Committee issued a statement marking the 39th anniversary of the founding of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The statement said that the south Korean people should wage a nationwide struggle against the Lee Myung-bak regime’s move for perpetuating national division and provoking a war against north Korea to nullify the June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration and drive the inter-Korean relations to the phase of total confrontation and war. They should terminate the military occupation and domination by the US, the ringleader of Korea’s division and the main obstacle to reunification, that is masterminding the pro-US conservative forces and inspiring them to confrontation with the fellow countrymen, it noted and added that they should wage intensive struggle for peace against the US and war to frustrate the US war maneuvers against north Korea and intensify the struggle to defend the October 4 Declaration.



Oct.4: The vice chairman of the AINDF Central Committee made public a statement on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the publication of the historic October 4 Declaration.

The statement noted that leader Kim Jong Il, the peerless patriot and lodestar of reunification, arranged the historic Pyongyang summit in October 2007 and adopted the “Declaration for the Development of North-South Relations and Peace and Prosperity” with far-sighted wisdom and patriotic resolution. It was a historic event opening an important occasion to develop the cause of national reunification to a new stage and a remarkable event giving the entire nation a great confidence in and hope for reunification, the statement said and added.

Thanks to the publication of the October 4 Declaration a milestone was provided again to further develop the inter-Korean relations, secure durable peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and realize independent reunification. The historic Pyongyang summit and publication of the October 4 Declaration would be handed down through posterity in the history of the nation as another immortal feat leader Kim Jong Il performed for the cause of national reunification.

Noting that due to the pro-US sycophantic and anti-national moves of the Lee Myung-bak group, a serious difficulty is laid on the road of implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration and the south-north relations are leading to the dangerous phase as the days go by, the statement stressed that the present situation urgently demands that the Korean nation frustrate with death-defying will the moves of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad and turn out as one in the struggle to defend the June 15 reunification era.

Jan. 3: The vice-chairman of the AINDF Central Committee issued a statement in connection with publication of north Korea’s a joint editorial headlined “Glorify this year as a year of a new revolutionary upsurge, sounding the general advance” on the New Year’s Day of Juche 98 (2009) by the leading newspapers Rodong Sinmun, Josoninmingun and Chongnyonjonwi.

The Korean nation is faced with important task to reenergize the national reunification movement of this year under the slogan “Advance dynamically along the road of independent reunification holding high the banner of the June 15 Joint Declaration and the October 4 Declaration!”

In hearty response to the ardent call of the slogan, the south Korean people should turn out in a nationwide struggle to propel the June 15 era of independent reunification.

The national and democratic movement organizations and broad segments of people should turn the country overflowing with reconciliation and cooperation by closely uniting with compatriots in the north and abroad forming solidarity and keeping joint action to realize independent reunification, peace and prosperity.

Mar. 1: The AINDF spokesman released a statement marking the 90th anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising which recorded brilliant trace in the history of the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle of the Korean people.

The statement stressed that the south Korean people from all walks of life should intensify the struggle to put an end to colonial domination and military occupation of south Korea by the US that is continuously occupying this land in place of Japan and forcing intolerable misfortune and pain with the patriotic spirit displayed by the uprisers in the past. It continued that they should accelerate a mass struggle to deal a stern blow to Japan’s wild ambition for reinvasion, steeped in the wild ambition for the “Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere,” and wipe out the Lee regime who pursues pro-US and pro-Japan sycophancy .



Mar. 14: The AINDF Central Committee released an appeal to the people in connection with the fact that the US and the Lee Myung-bak warlike regimes are driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war by launching the joint military exercise Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, despite strong protest of the Korean nation. The appeal called upon the Korean nation to turn out in the struggle with extraordinary determination and will to punish the US and the Lee regime which are crazy about the war maneuvers against north Korea and open a new era of peace and reunification.

Jun. 14: The Propaganda Bureau of the AINDF Central Committee issued a declaration on the current situation. It reads;

Dear people!

Now the struggle against Lee Myung-bak regime is spreading like wildfire across south Korea.

The declarations on the current situation are published and mass rallies and demonstrations are conducted almost everyday in Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon and other parts of south Korea. Participating in the struggle are the people from different strata including workers, peasants, the needy, the youth and students, intelligentsias and religious men.

The intensive resistance is an eruption of the people’s grudge against the Lee clique that retreated the history with his sycophantic, inter-Korean confrontational, fascist dictatorial and anti-popular policy. It is a stern punishment of the people to the Lee regime.

The south Korea-US relations and creation of a new era of the south Korea-Japan cooperation, the Lee Myung-bak group put up as a national policy soon after they took power, radically reduces south Korea into a colony of the US and Japan. The so-called “pragmatic” fascist dictatorship, an ejection of insolence and self-complacence, revived medieval age of darkness in south Korea where patriotism is punished, justice is trampled down and democracy is suppressed. The anachronistic inter-Korean confrontational policy full of animosity drives the inter-Korean ties to a total collapse and the threat of nuclear war is exposed to danger.

The evacuees in Yongsan were burnt to death and ex-president suffered tragic death in south Korea.

The death of former president Roh Moo-hyun that shocked the world is a murder by a base political retaliation and barbarous atrocity to belittle the October 4 Declaration and liquidate the forces supporting the declaration. Not satisfied with this, the Lee regime ordered the emergency alertness and mobilized numerous repressive forces to reduce the funeral ceremony of Roh to a place under the martial law, destroyed mourning places and beat the mourners.

Public indignation at the Lee regime is bursting into flames in south Korea.

Meanwhile, the Lee regime declared its participation in the PSI, a US-led war tool, taking the issue of north Korea’s self-defensive step, and took the lead in adopting a resolution on sanctions against north Korea at the UN Security Council, thus driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula to the brink of a war.

It put the south Korean army on the alertness, asserting that north Korea’s self-defensive measure was the astonishing case happened during the period of state funeral and the worst crisis of security after the Korean War in a bid to divert the public indignation elsewhere.

Jun. 15: The vice-chairman of the AINDF Central Committee made public a statement, marking the 9th anniversary of the publication of the historic June 15 Joint Declaration. The statement reads;

The historic inter-Korean summit was held in Pyongyang for the first of its kind in the history of national division nine years ago and the June 15 Joint Declaration was adopted, reflecting the desire and will of the whole Korean nation. It was a remarkable event in opening a turning point of Korea’s reunification.

With the publication of the June 15 Joint Declaration, a milestone for Korea’s reunification in the new century, the June 15 era was opened in which the Korean nation terminates a half century long inter-Korean mistrust and confrontation to open a wide path for independent reunification with concerted efforts of the nation. National cooperation and pro-north Korean reunification sentiment have been promoted and south Korean people warmly revere leader Kim Jong Il. The driving forces of reunification have been rapidly strengthened and independent reunification has become an irresistible trend of the times.

Spectacular progress and miraculous successes made in the inter-Korean relations and reunification movement are attributable to the greatness and outstanding political ability of Kim Jong Il, who leads the June 15 era to victory with his patriotic Songun politics, prominent leadership and broad-mindedness.

Regarding national reunification as his lifelong mission, he arranged another historic Pyongyang summit in October, 2007 and inspired the whole Korean nation with confidence in and optimism about reunification by adopting the Declaration for Development of the South-North Relations and Peace and Prosperity, an action program for the June 15 Joint Declaration.
