BGSJI and KFA UK on the 90th anniversary of the Nanhutou Meeting

The British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea and Korean Friendship Association UK  issued a joint statement on the 90th anniversary of the Nanhutou meeting:

   This is the very day on which 90 years ago , the historic Nanhutou meeting presided over by the  great leader President KIM IL SUNG was held . The meeting lasted from the 27th of February to the 3rd of March .It was attended by the cadres and activists of the Korean People's Revolutionary (founded 5 years before in April 1932). The great leader President KIM IL SUNG made the historic report  "The Tasks of Communists in the Strengthening and Development of the Anti-Japanese National Liberation Struggle."

 The great leader President KIM IL SUNG set forth a line on advancing the Korean People's Revolutionary Army  main unit into the border area and Mt. Paektu area and gradually expanding the armed struggle into the homeland. As

President KIM IL SUNG said " In this favourable situation the Korean communists are faced with the important task of further developing the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle by building up the revolutionary forces of our people and mobilizing all their efforts."  

 The meeting was the one that focused on completely establishing Juche for the first time in the Korean revolution and anti-Japanese national liberation struggle.
    In line with the policies, the Korean revolutionaries steadfastly maintained the Juche-based stand in each stage of the revolution and held fast to it as an utmost lifeline of the nation in whatever adversities.
    Hence then, the Korean revolution entered into a higher stage.

The teachings of President KIM IL SUNG at the Nanhutou meeting served as a guideline for the anti-imperialist national liberation movement in the colonies.
    The banner of Juche, the banner of independence, which was the focus in the Nanhutou Meeting, serves as imperative still for building a thriving socialist nation.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Congratulatory Message from Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez

Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, on Feb. 23.

The message said:

Respected Comrade,

I extend the warmest congratulations to you on your reelection as the general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and wish you success in your work and in implementing the decisions of the Ninth Party Congress.

The historic relations between our two parties are based on the unbreakable friendship, provided by Supreme Commander Fidel Castro Ruz and the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, and General Raul Castro Ruz and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Il, and we have inherited these relations while working at the top posts of our parties and states.

In this sense, I am recalling with special satisfaction the agreements reached during my visit to Pyongyang in November 2018 and our meeting in the People's Republic of China in September 2025.

Availing myself of this opportunity, I affirm my special will to continue to develop the Party ties in the interest of our two countries and peoples.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Officers and Soldiers of Parade Units

Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on Feb. 27 met the officers and soldiers of units of the Korean People's Army at all levels who fully demonstrated the absolute support of the DPRK armed forces and all the people for the WPK's fighting programme and their confidence in sure victory by showcasing their vigorous stride in the military parade commemorating the Ninth WPK Congress.

The square was filled with great joy and excitement of the participants in the military parade who enjoyed the greatest privilege of making a vigorous stride of the revolutionary army of the WPK on the track of the glorious advance, indicated by the historic Party Congress, and then came to get the immense love and encouragement from the great brilliant commander.

When the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un arrived, a stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" resounded far and wide.

He was greeted with respect by senior officials of the Ministry of National Defence and the commanding officer of parade units.

All the participants extended highest glory to the great brilliant commander who is adding luster to the honor and reputation of the Korean People's Army by ensuring that a grand military parade was held at an important time when a watershed in the history of the WPK coincides with the new start of another stage.

Warmly acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers, Kim Jong Un gave a salute to the officers and soldiers of the parade units who demonstrated their absolute loyalty to the orders and instructions of the Party and the heroic fighting spirit as the honorable representative and symbol of the KPA and further convinced everyone of the victory in our cause that will be accelerated by the vanguard and core role of the revolutionary armed forces.

He said that the outstanding role and valuable feats of our army, which no one else could play or perform in place of them, in the crucial courses, every step of which determined our sovereignty and the destiny of the revolution, served as a powerful driving force that has pushed the Korean revolution straight in one direction indicated by the Party. It is the strongest power and great pride of our Party to have such invincible armed forces, the elite ranks of patriotic loyalty that share destiny, intention and will, ideal and aspirations with our Party, he added.

He met the officers and soldiers who participated in the military parade commemorating the Party Congress with brilliant military feats of demonstrating to the world the honor of the country in the overseas military operations. And he asked about the recovery of health of the wounded soldiers, warmly encouraging them to continue their dynamic march of patriotism and loyalty for the Party, the revolution, the country and the people in the future, too.

Today, our army is entrusted with a historic mission and responsibility, more important and heavier than ever before, he said, adding that it should continue to reliably play the leading role in our great era by displaying its great heroism, strong mettle and fighting spirit, with which it made the impossible the possible, in all theaters of grand struggle indicated by the Ninth Congress of the WPK.

He expressed expectation and belief that the new dynamic march the KPA bravely started with the military parade at the square of victory would be filled with proud feats and fame.

At the end of the photo session, all the participants, who received his great trust and warm encouragement, broke into stormy cheers, chanting slogans of "Kim Jong Un" and "Death-defying defence".

The participants in the military parade were full of militant enthusiasm to wage a dynamic struggle for achieving a new great victory, further demonstrating the dignity and honor of the guardian of the most just cause, state and people under the leadership of the Party Central Committee. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Gives Gifts to Major Leading Cadres

Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on February 27 met with major leading cadres and military commanding officers at the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee and gave them gifts he specially prepared.

After presenting a new-type sniper’s rifle to each of them, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Over the past five years, you have remained faithful to the historic mission and duty entrusted to you by the Party and the revolution and by the country and the people.

Greeting the Ninth Congress of the Party, I personally prepared special presents for you.

As was already made public, this new-generation sniper’s rifle our Academy of Defence Science developed and produced is really a wonderful weapon.

These presents represent my appraisal of your extraordinary devotion for the country and the people and an expression of my absolute trust in you.

I hope that you will, in the future too, discharge your official duties in a responsible manner for the victorious advance of our cause. "

The meaningful gifts were presented to the members of the WPK Central Military Commission, major commanding officers of the armed forces of the DPRK, commanders of the large combined units of the Korean People's Army and commanding officers of guard units, Jo Yong Won and Kim Jae Ryong, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Yo Jong, director of the General Affairs Department of the WPK Central Committee, and other leading cadres.

Kim Jong Un personally awarded the relevant certificates to them one by one.

The leading cadres patted the gifts reflecting his great expectation and trust, greatly pleased to receive the gifts bearing special meaning from him beyond their expectation.

Then Kim Jong Un spent his time with the leading cadres, enjoying shooting with the rifles at a firing range.

He had a photo session with the leading cadres that day.

The cadres, who received special gifts from him, made a pledge of single-minded loyalty to add glory to their worthwhile life as the very loyalists who support and defend the country and the people without an inch of deflection or deviation, deeply cherishing his deep trust and expectation. -0-
