10th anniversary of the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel , the line of Pyongjin -special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

It is 10 years since respected Marshal KIM JONG UN put forward the line of Pyongjin, the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel at the historic March 2013 plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea . It is a unique revolutionary line based on the Juche idea and the Songun(army first ) idea.Only People’s Korea had the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel.

The line of Pyongjin was put forward when the US imperialists and world reactionary forces were running wild to stifle People’ Korea. The US imperialists and south Korean fascist puppets carried out nuclear war exercises one after the other . At the same time the UN Security Council , a marionette of the US imperialists imposed sanctions on the DPRK for the mere fact that it had launched its own satellite the Kwangmyongsong 3-2 in December 2012. The situation demanded that the DPRK take measures to defend its independence , its system ( the people-centred socialist system and its very existence . Independence cannot be defended by words alone.During the period from the collapse of the USSR at the beginning of the 1990s we have seen countless invasions and interventions by US imperialism most notably the Yugoslav War , the 20 year long occupation of Afghanistan and the Iraq War .

                                                         

The line of building the nuclear force and economy in parallel is a modern application of the original , independent , Juche based line of building the economy and defence in parallel that was put forward by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG in 1962 .President KIM IL SUNG keenly realised that the DPRK could not rely on other countries for its defence. An example can be given of the Cuban Missile Crisis in which the revisionist USSR betrayed Cuba by capitulating to US imperialism and pulling out the missiles.

The line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel is a profoundly independent , anti-imperialist and anti-revisionist line which defends Juche-based socialism .

Thanks to the implementation of the Pyongjin line, Juche Korea raced across the nuclear  finishing line and became a proud member of the nuclear club which consists of a small number of countries such as the US, UK ,France , Russia , China , Israel , India and Pakistan . Similarly the ICBM club  is an elite exclusive club of just  6 or 7 countries . My own country, Britain, which once styled itself as having an empire "on which the sun never set " , does not have its own ICBMs . The DPRK has both its own ICBMs and Nukes , more importantly it has total control over them, it does not have to ask the permission of another country to fire its ICBMs nor does any other country have a second key to operate the DPRK's nuclear weapons !

 I remember being in the DPRK in September 2016 when the DPRK carried out both nuclear and missile tests. On the 9th of September  when I was going into the Ponghwa Art Theatre in the afternoon ,suddenly my guide  turned to me and  said in a quiet but determined voice  "this morning we have successfully tested the nuclear warhead ". Later that night  I saw on TV the veteran DPRK news announcer Ri Chun Hee announce the nuclear test . On the day that I arrived , the 6th of September, the DPRK had conducted the most impressive test of a road launched ICBM .I was able to watch it on TV during the evening of my arrival . I could only marvel at the majestic sight of the  road launched missiles  blasting off from the Pyongyang-Kaesong motorway.

  During the past year there have been massive victories on the front of defence building ; several tests of the new type ICBM , the Hwasong-pho 17 have been carried out and recently an underwater nuclear attack drone was successfully tested.

  At the same time the economy of the DPRK was built up. Despite having to spend resources on building nuclear weapons for the DPRK as well harsh and draconian sanctions , the DPRK pressed ahead with truly massive construction projects such as building Mirae Scientists' Street , Ryomyong  Street Songhwa Streets and also Samjiyon City , projects which would cost billions and billions to build in the imperialist countries .The DPRK also took the measure to provide preschool children with dairy products free of charge . The DPRK rightfully rejected imperialist aid and solved the Covid 19 issue with its own resources.

Those who urge that the DPRK abandons its nuclear programme and concentrates solely on the economy should consider the case of Libya . In Libya Col Gaddafi pursued anti-imperialist independent policies and built an Arab socialist country. However Gaddafi went off the rails and tried to be friendly with the imperialists believing that they were his friends . At the insistence of the imperialists  Gaddafi abandoned the infant nuclear programme of Libya ,even handing over the materials to the USA !. A few years later Gaddafi was murdered in a CIA led uprising in Libya and Libyan socialism destroyed. This is what happens when you abandon nuclear weapons !

The past ten years have proved beyond all doubt the correctness and vitality of the great line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel that was adopted at the March 2013 plenary meeting of the Central Committee .

A Letter that the Morning Star Did not publish-Facebook Censorship of KFA UK

Dear comrades ,

On the 19th of March the Facebook page of the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) was unpublished by Facebook which meant that it was no longer visible to Facebook users and we could no longer publish on it . The page had built up a following of 12,000 people and was the product of 11 years of hard work .Subsequently the page has been deleted as if it never existed.

Many hours of hard work were destroyed at one click by the censors of Facebook. This an act of terrorism by Facebook against KFA UK . It is an act of extreme censorship, a totally arbitrary action by Facebook .

We had started having problems with Facebook back in 2020 and these seemed to escalate over the past year . On numerous occasions Facebook simply deleted posts without giving a reason and also seemed to take exception to pictures from some DPRK websites such as Voice of Korea and friend.com.kp. From last year Facebook started to impose restrictions on the KFA UK page and limit it .

Facebook used the pretext for the banning that we had shared videos from the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea which went against ‘Facebook community standards’ . However, probably the reason is that the south Korean fascist puppet authorities were afraid that south Koreans would see them and asked Facebook to ban the KFA UK page .Moreover Facebook is a monopoly capitalist tech giant with links to the deep state in the US and UK . They took down the page so people cannot see the reality of People’s Korea and also to stifle solidarity with People’s Korea .

We strongly denounce the unjust and arbitrary censorship of Facebook . We will not be silenced

Racial Discrimination- Chronic Disease of U.S.

Racial discrimination is a chronic disease peculiar to the U.S. society.

In the U.S. society where extreme white supremacy is prevalent, a great number of people live in poverty, anxiety and fear for the single reason of being non-white.

An American research center recently released data on the present human rights situation in the American society. According to it, the number of Afro-Americans who have negative recognition of capitalism continues to grow. The research center disclosed that the disparity in wealth between races is rooted in the long history of racial discrimination.

Saying that institutional inequality has put obstacles to realizing black people’s dreams for generations, it asserted that the disparity in wealth between the blacks and the whites reflects the fact that the U.S. society can never provide equal opportunities to its people.

It can be said that this research data serves as an indictment fully exposing the racial discrimination which is deeply rooted in the U.S. society.

Racial discrimination has not been in existence for only a day or two in the U.S. society. It is deeply rooted in the long years of time.

The world clearly remembers an incident happened in the winter of 1955 when a black seamstress was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a city bus to a white man.

This case triggered resentment of the black people who were suffering racial discrimination through generations. And this increased the momentum of the black people’s human rights movement which later shook the entire U.S. society to its roots.

In order to placate the public opinion at home and abroad, Johnson, the 36th U.S. President, enacted the civil rights act that “grants the black people equal rights as the white people” in 1964.

However, this civil law was no more than a scrap of packing paper that embellishes “public welfare” and “equality of all” highly advocated by the U.S. And now the racial discrimination is handed down to its posterity and is rather “flourishing”.

Today, discrimination against Afro-Americans is not limited to only one or two areas but is prevailing throughout the U.S. society.

The average income of black people is 43.8% compared with that of white people and the average property of a black family is a tenth of a white family. In schools, white students call black students “Negro” and they play a game of marking price on black students and holding a “slave” auction.

They are also subjected to racial discrimination in the public health services.

Owing to the morbid hatred and rejection by the white doctors, the Afro-Americans are 3 times and 1.9 times more likely to be infected and killed by Covid-19 and the death rate of black pregnant and lactating women is 2.6 times higher than the whites as compared with the year 2021.

The discriminative acts against the nonwhite people occurring every day in the U.S. clearly demonstrate to the world that the U.S. society is the breeding ground of human rights obliteration and barren land of human rights.

Martin Luther King who was the leader of black people in the U.S. once said that they wish the racial discrimination will soon be terminated forever in the U.S. society and this country will awaken sometime and truly realize his admonition that it is a self-evident truth that all people are equal. Half a century has passed since then, but his desire still remains as a desire.

All the facts prove that racial discrimination is an inevitable consequence of anti-popular social system of the U.S. and in the U.S. – the “exemplary human rights state” short before explosion – genuine human rights can never be ensured.

Beneficiaries and Victims of American-Style Plutocracy

Not long ago, an appalling case occurred in Texas in which a 3-year-old girl shot dead her 4-year-old sister playing beside her while fiddling with a fully loaded pistol.

But what’s more appalling is that such a case is regarded as a commonplace in the U.S. whereas other countries take it as a “shocking case” and “top news”.

Only in recent years, tens of cases occurred one after another in almost all of U.S. states including California, Alabama, Texas, and Minnesota where children aged under 5 shot their own relatives to death while toying with guns.

According to official data available, over 6,000 under-17 juveniles were killed or injured owing to gun-related incidents in the U.S. in 2022 alone. Among the 1,629 killed, a quarter of them were children aged under 11.

The situation is so serious that an institute under an American university deplored gun-related accidents with a saying that it has become number-one cause of child death, overtaking traffic accidents.

This is a natural outcome of the American decadent way of life which has legalized the purchase and possession of arms through state policy and law.

Being swayed by misgivings about the continuous massive demonstrations blaming the government for the gun-related incidents, Biden gave a Presidential Executive Order to prevent gun-related crimes and the Congress adopted a so-called “Act” to protect the children. But gun-related child deaths continue to rise, far from falling.

Given that the right of its people to keep and bear arms is written down in black and white in the U.S. constitution, such “measures” are simply insignificant and meaningless.

No wonder.

The U.S. politicians have close political and economic relations with the National Rifle Association (NRA) which is representing the interests of the arms production and sales enterprises. And they are more interested in relations with the NRA rather than the life safety of common people.

Former U.S. presidents, vice-presidents, former chiefs of justice of the United States Supreme Court, MPs and government officials were the important NRA members. This fact alone suffices to show the extent of nexus between the political circles and arms manufacturers in the U.S.

This has led to the exponential growth of the U.S. arms production enterprises. And the arms sellers made a windfall of US$ 63.5 billion in 2020 when many enterprises went belly up or suffered a huge loss.

Profits raked by the arms sales enterprises find their way into the pockets of chief members of the government and the parliament through the NRA, and the official amount alone reaches US$ 2-5 million on an annual basis.

We are witnessing a miserable sight where children become innocent victims of gun-related crimes every day even before they come into bloom. But, at the other end of the scale, the U.S. politicians are accumulating their wealth on a daily basis getting benefits from arms sales. Such a contrasting reality clearly shows the anti-people nature of the American-style plutocracy.

It would be well-advised for the U.S. to strain every nerve to find the way how it will provide the children with the basic rights to existence before it criticises other countries over the “human rights issue”.

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK)  together with the  British Group for the Study of the  Idea  (BGSJI)  ,the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee For Peace and Reunification today issued the following statement in support of the 'Appeal to Countryman " issued by the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea on the 28th of March ;

Recently, the puppet fascist dictator Yoon made a grovelling visit to imperialist Japan where he agreed to the revival of the discredited  general security of military intelligence agreement (GSOMIA). This was an act of betraying the south Korean people and at the same time a move aimed at the socialist Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ).

The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea , the true revolutionaries of south Korea , strongly denounced the visit of Yoon to Japan declaring that" The whole process of his junket to Japan was a series of pro-Japanese proclivity and submission as "the five traitors of 1905" fabricated the "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty" and Park Chung-hee signed the "south Korea-Japan Agreement". It is the height of treachery."

Yoon turned down compenstation for wartime forced labour by Japan and blathered about ' co-operation partnership ' with Japan . Japan is an eternal enemy of the Korean nation and there can be no co-operation or compromise with Japanese imperialism . These days south Korea is a dual colony of both the US and Japan . Yoon's visit to Japan will further deepen south Korea's dependency on Japan and led to further inroads of Japanese imperialism into the economy , politics and society of south Korea.

The AINDF rightly calls for the overthrow of the Yoon regime and action against Yoon . It put forward fighting demands such as ;

Let us send Yoon to the graveyard of "the five traitors of 1905" at the earliest possible date by touching off the nationwide resistance!

Let us crush rash act of the Yoon gentry which begs for military cooperation between south Korea, the US and Japan and provides a springboard for aggression through an intense struggle for peace against war!

AINDF issues an appeal

The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front made public an appeal in condemnation of pro-Japanese treacherous act of the Yoon Suk-yeol regime and calling for a nationwide campaign against Japan and Yoon on March 24.

 The appeal titled "An appeal to fellow countrymen" said that another treacherous crime is recorded in shameful history of south Korean politics stained with pro-US and Japanese proclivities, it continued.

Yoon's recent junket to Japan achieved under the manipulation of the US was a sycophantic junket which sold off the national pride without reserve. It was recorded as an irrecoverable sin to be etched in the history of the Korean nation who had experienced the grief of statelessness.   

Yoon declared a list of tribute to Japan and told he would not claim indemnity for the past crimes committed by Japan, not content with its connivance at Japan's past crimes at an interview with a Japanese media before starting his visit to Japan. It is an intolerable insult and challenge to the nation.

He failed to extract a word of apology from impudent, cunning Japanese Prime Minister Kishida and prayed him for improvement of bilateral ties, risking the nation's interests for the sake of Japan. At a lecture, he parroted the remarks of those, who looked down upon the Korean nation and advocated the colonial domination in the Meiji age, the gist of which is "Korea is a territory of Japan".   

He did not hesitate to throw its tongue against north Korea and connived at Japan's goal to be a military power. He declared normalization of the general security of military intelligence agreement (GSOMIA) with Japan and revealed his black-hearted intention to stand in confrontation with north Korea with the backing of the US and Japan.  

The whole process of his junket to Japan was a series of pro-Japanese proclivity and submission as "the five traitors of 1905" fabricated the "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty" and Park Chung-hee signed the "south Korea-Japan Agreement". It is the height of treachery.

The south Korean people bitterly denounce his visit to Tokyo as a humiliating visit giving up apology and compensation for Japan's past crimes, offering the national interests for the sake of Japan and pushing the situation of the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity to the extreme phase.   

Nationwide rallies in condemnation of his visit to Japan and signature campaign are being held in south Korea. The declaration on the current situation made by broad segments of south Koreans are being released one after another.   

It is an expression of public anger at the Yoon regime and manifestation of the south Korean people's will to punish Yoon without fail.

In retrospect, he said that the people should not be divided into the pro-Japanese group and anti-Japanese one before he took power, south Korea-Japanese relationship should not be kept in the past. He, who promised to mend the relations with Japan regardless of the past crimes, recorded his one-year long rule as the treacherous history of pro-Japanese proclivity.

He turned down the compensation for the Japan's past crimes judged by the Supreme Court to rub salt into the wounds of the victims, promoted Japan as "cooperation partnership" and revealed its intention to push forward military cooperation between south Korea, the US and Japan under the excuse of "north Korea's nuclear threat".  

The Korean nation's grudge against Japan and forty-odd years long unethical crimes left unhealed wounds, however, Japan has denied apology and reparation for its past wrongdoings.   

Japan is bent on glossing over the past crimes and engrossed in the distortion of history and re-aggression. It carries worship at the Yasukuni shrine to offer a tribute to it and set "Takeshima Day" to seize Dok islet.

It revised document of security and strategy and augmented its defense expenses. It laid bare its intention to be transformed into a state capable of carrying out a war through "revision of constitution" and realize new "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere." It has put spur to establish missile defense system against north Korea together with south Korea and the US, introduce the latest weaponry, development of new type hardware and conduct military exercises with different missions.   

The current situation proves Japan's ambition to be a military power and for re-aggression of the Korean Peninsula reach an extreme pitch of danger.    

Yoon has fanned up Japan's bid for re-aggression and is engaged in pro-Japanese proclivity. The south Korean people express their indignation at his behavior.

The south Koreans would not tolerate treacherous act of the pro-Japanese elements and Japan's imprudence.

The anti-Japanese and Yoon struggle is the great cause of the people and request of the current situation, the appeal said. It called for the people to turn out in the campaign against Japan and Yoon.   

The Yoon regime is just the "the five traitors of 1905" in the 21st century and Yoon is another offshoot of Lee Wan-yong and Park Chung-hee.

The second "Korea-Japan Annexation Treaty" and reappearance of statelessness will be unavoidable as long as the Yoon regime remains in power.

The withdrawal of Yoon and action against the Yoon regime are the only solution.  

Let us send Yoon to the graveyard of "the five traitors of 1905" at the earliest possible date by touching off the nationwide resistance!

Let us crush rash act of the Yoon gentry which begs for military cooperation between south Korea, the US and Japan and provides a springboard for aggression through an intense struggle for peace against war!

The south Koreans' campaign to chill Japan's attempt for re-aggression and humble its arrogance is a righteous resistance to satisfy the century-old grudge of the Korean nation.

The south Korean people should make south Korea full of anti-Japanese sentiments by developing the spirit of the Independence Movement in 1919 into animosity toward Japan.

Let us shed light to hair-raising atrocities committed by Japan and its crime-woven history! Make Japan to pay a dear price for the century-old past crimes.

Underwater Strategic Weapon System Test Held

 

                                             

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Defence Science of the DPRK conducted another test of underwater strategic weapon system from March 25 to 27.

The underwater nuclear attack drone "Haeil-1", deployed for the test in Wonsan Bay on the afternoon of March 25, reached the target point in the waters off Hwadae County of North Hamgyong Province on the morning of March 27 after cruising along an jagged and oval course simulating the distance of the 600 kilometers in the East Sea of Korea for 41 hours and 27 minutes and correctly set off the test warhead underwater.

Through the test, all tactical and technical specifications and underwater navigational and technical indices were correctly estimated and the reliability and safety of the weapon system were verified. -0-

Army Unit in Charge of Important Operation Task in Central Front Conducts Missile Firing Drill

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- A missile unit in charge of an important firing task in the central front conducted a demonstration education firing drill aimed at letting its sub-units get familiar with procedures and processes for carrying out an important firing task on March 27.

The drill was guided by the Missile General Bureau and watched by the commanding officers and combatants of all sub-units under the unit.

The education company under the unit was involved in the drill, and conducted an education demonstration firing with a nuclear air explosion striking mode by two ground-to-ground tactical ballistic missiles.

In the drill for firing preparations, there was an examination of the normal operation of the procedures for authenticating the nuclear attack order and the launch approval system and a demonstration education for standard combat action process and handling of equipment for making nuclear assault to the pointed target according to the set procedures and regulations of receiving an order for nuclear attack.

The tactical ballistic missiles were loaded with warheads for trial simulating nuclear warheads.

The education company launched a virtual nuclear attack from Ryokpho District, Pyongyang City, aiming at the target islet in front of Kim Chaek City, North Hamgyong Province, and blasted the warheads 500 meters above the target.

The commander of the unit said that its mission is clear and we know well about what we should do in contingency, affirming that if we fight, we will surely annihilate the enemy.

All the officers and men of the unit made a firm pledge to uphold the military and strategic plan of the Party Central Committee with the fighting efficiency of a-match-for-a-hundred by increasing the capability of a real war in every way in the more fierce and intensive training. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Guides Work for Mounting Nuclear Warheads on Ballistic Missiles

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), guided the work for mounting nuclear warheads on ballistic missiles on March 27.

Present there were Hong Sung Mu, first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and other officials of the Department of the Munitions Industry of the Party Central Committee and officials of the Nuclear Weapons Institute and the Missile General Bureau.

The DPRK Nuclear Weapons Institute reported to Kim Jong Un on recent years' work and production for bolstering up the nuclear force of the DPRK both in quality and quantity in accordance with the orientation of developing nuclear weapons and strategic policy set forth at the 8th Congress of the WPK and the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the WPK.

He acquainted in detail himself with the means for applying nuclear weapons, technological specifications and features of structural operation of new tactical nuclear weapons according to the purpose of the operation and targets, interchangeability with different weapons systems, etc. He also learned about the work of putting into an IT basis the state nuclear weapon combined management system "Haekbangashoe" whose scientific accuracy, reliability and security have been strictly verified in the recent combined tactical drill simulating a nuclear counterattack.

And he examined the plan and written orders for nuclear counterattack operation.

He highly appreciated the institute for making its ceaseless efforts in the work to strengthen our nuclear force into the reliable force capable of coping with any nuclear emergency in keeping with the strategic plan and attempt of the Party Central Committee on combining and operating nuclear weapons by different means in the diversified operation spaces, and for making its great achievements.

Saying with deep emotion that we have dauntlessly taken a rigorous and long road for possessing nuclear weapons, he clarified again that the enemy our nuclear force with powerful deterrence matches are not any state and specific group but war and nuclear disaster themselves, and the line of our Party on increasing nuclear force is aimed to defend the eternal security of the state and the regional peace and stability from A to Z.

Pointing out that we should never be satisfied with the work to consolidate the thoroughgoing response posture of our nuclear force and should continuously strive to strengthen nuclear force steadily, he said that when we are flawlessly prepared to use nuclear weapons anytime and anywhere, nuclear weapons would not be used forever, and if the powerful and superior nuclear force going beyond imagination is ready for offensive posture, the enemy would fear us and not dare provoke our state sovereignty, system and people.

Noting that the institute and the field of atomic energy should expand on a far-sighted way the production of weapon-grade nuclear materials for thoroughly implementing the plan of the Party Central Committee on increasing nuclear arsenals exponentially and put spurs to continuing to produce powerful nuclear weapons, he set forth important tasks facing the institute and the field of atomic energy.

On Gravity of Military Drills by U.S. and Its Stooges

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The following is the full text of a commentator's article "On Gravity of Military Drills by U.S. and Its Stooges" carried in Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday:

The situation on the Korean peninsula is reaching the limit beyond the red line every moment.

The U.S. ever-escalating war hysteria and moves to stifle the DPRK in March are inching close to an intolerable grave phase.

The DPRK has already warned that the U.S. reckless military provocations and war drills against the DPRK will drive the situation on the Korean peninsula to the critical point of outbreak of a nuclear war.

However, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet traitors are becoming ever more bellicose and frantic in their attempt to invade the DPRK.

The U.S. has shown its option with more open attempt to invade the DPRK and real action, at the stern warning of the DPRK government and the just demand of the international community for the stop to the military provocations and war drills disturbing peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the region.

Early in this month the U.S. staged joint war drills in the sea and the air by dispatching nuclear submarine, Aegis destroyers, strategic bombers, air combat drones and other major strategic assets to south Korea one after another. From March 13 it together with the south Korean puppets staged a large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield simulating an all-out war against the DPRK, going beyond the plan for precision strike and "preemptive strike" at someone's nuclear and missile facilities.

It was brought to light that the large-scale combined exercises Freedom Shield, which was restored last year, was not "an annual one with defensive nature" repeated by the U.S. and the south Korean puppets.

The drill consists of "landing on Wonsan", "occupying Pyongyang" and "beheading operation" aimed at sudden strikes at the strategic bases of the DPRK in accordance with OPLAN 5015. It was the longest-ever exercises that continued day and night for 11 days not with the existing mode but with the stage for just "occupying and stabilizing".

During this period the U.S. conducted the highest-level military actions against the DPRK in the sky above major areas of the Korean peninsula by mobilizing all sorts of reconnaissance assets including the plane of the U.S. Army with "air reconnaissance electronic warfare system" and RC-135V and RC-135S of the U.S. Air Force.

Before and after "Freedom Shield", the U.S. and the south Korean puppet military warmongers staged such war drills as joint river-crossing operations, joint airdrop and mobile drill, joint war materiel supply drill and joint scientific combat drill in the air, land and sea.

Meanwhile, the south Korean confrontational maniacs independently staged innumerable drills including "a drill for special inspection of decisive posture in 2023" conducted by the operation command of the puppet Air Force from March 13 to 15, crying out for the so-called "punishment".

The U.S. and the south Korean puppets are staging Ssangyong, the largest-ever joint landing drill they had stopped for five years since 2018, from March 20 before the powder smell was removed.

The U.S. mobilized in the Ssangyong joint landing drill aimed at "occupying Pyongyang" tens of warships including the U.S. Navy's amphibious assaulting ship Makin Island which is known as a light carrier with 20 F-35B stealth fighters aboard, 70-odd fighters of various kinds, 50 amphibious assaulting armored cars and 10 000-odd troops in collusion with the south Korean puppets.

The U.S. Air Force secretary and the commander of the U.S. 7th Air Force flew into the puppet area to consult a scenario for a war against the north and the commander of the U.S. Pacific Marines controlling 70 percent of the U.S. Marines came there again and guided the Ssangyong drill.

The drill includes "convoy operation" for the movement of the landing force to the safe target area, "minesweeping operation", "advance force operation" and "decisive action".

In particular, the combined and joint forces of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet army are to occupy the target area from the seas and the sky in the drill of the "decisive action" stage.

The introduction of special warfare units of its satellite countries involved in the past Korean War and the U.S. Navy's nuclear-powered Nimitz strike group in the drills proves that the U.S. option for the DPRK does not confine to the military operation but is developing into the phase of actual crime.

This task force consisting of the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Nimitz, the aegis destroyers Wayne E. Meyer and Decatur, etc. of the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Navy staged a joint naval drill in the waters off the southern part of Jeju Island on March 27, which was planned to improve the extended deterrence executive ability through the deployment of U.S. strategic assets. Then it plans another war exercise at Pusan Port on March 28.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppets are now planning to stage the largest-ever "combined and joint firepower annihilation drill" involving the joint forces of the army, navy and air force with all the latest weapons in June.

All these military exercises of the enemy for demonstration clearly show that they are military actions for a preemptive attack which can not be looked on with folded arms any longer as they are waged after making a war of aggression against the DPRK a fait accompli.

The scales and periods of these military exercises are far larger and longer than those in the past, lots of offensive weapons are being involved and such actions are being conducted nonstop day and night in every month and week.

The deployment of the most offensive military equipment and even the nuclear carrier task force amounts to an open declaration of war against the DPRK.

The reckless acts conducted by the south Korean puppets against the backdrop of the confrontation campaign of the U.S. are ridiculous.

Shortly ago, the puppet defense minister of south Korea clamored that "the north is threatening the world peace and stability transcending the Korean peninsula through various missile provocations including ICBM," and stressed the need to "further intensify the drills in such time".

And the puppet chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of south Korea, who boarded the U.S. naval carrier Nimitz on March 27, revealed his confrontation hysteria with shallow and impudent rhetoric expressions and manners of speaking and showed "bravery", while clamoring that "the south Korea-U.S. alliance would resolutely and overwhelmingly counter any provocation and aggression by the enemy and mete out a stern punishment in case of emergency".

All the facts go to clearly prove that the frantic war drills in the puppet region are not just military drills but nuclear war drills for a preemptive strike against the DPRK from A to Z in their essence, nature, scale, content and form, pursuant to the U.S. political and military option to escalate confrontation with the DPRK and finally lead to a war.

The U.S., hell-bent on dangerous saber-rattling in the puppet region, is the very one disturbing peace and stability in Northeast Asia including the Korean peninsula and the arch criminal escalating tension.

The present acute situation is entirely attributable to the U.S. and its vassal forces trying to stifle the DPRK by force at any cost. To build up physical strength capable of deterring it is a matter of the DPRK's right to self-defence which no one can slander.

It is quite natural for the nuclear force of the DPRK to fulfill its important mission to cope with the grave situation in which the sovereignty and security of the state are threatened. -0-

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK)  together with the  British Group for the Study of the  Idea  (BGSJI)  ,the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and the British Solidarity Committee For Peace and Reunificiation today issued the following statement on the occasion of the  10th anniversary of the publication of the dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN's speech to the March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the adoption of the twin line of building the economy and nuclear force simultaneously, the line of Pyongjin ;
 On the 31st of March  ten years have passed  since dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN made his historic speech to the historice March 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Workers' Party of Korea which put forward the line of simultaneously developing the economy and the nuclear force in parallel,known as Pyongjin, as well as the line of total anti-US showdown .
    The situation around the Korean peninsula had become extremely tense owing to the continuous provocations of the US imperialists and the moves of US and world imperialism to stifle people centred socialism . As dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said at the meeting "The United States and its vassal forces, picking a quarrel with our successful launch in last December of a peaceful man-made satellite, railroaded a brigandish “resolution on sanctions” through the UN Security Council. It was a hostile, outrageous act that illegalizes the legitimate right of a sovereign state to launch a satellite."  He on went to cogently warn that "We must never forget the lessons of the countries in the Balkan Peninsula and the Middle East which failed to possess powerful self-defensive capabilities, looking to big countries, or gave up even their existing war deterrents under the pressure and appeasement of the imperialists, ending up becoming victims of aggression."
These were very wise words. US imperialism had invaded Iraq and Libya and overturned the governments of those countries killing their leaders. Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN rejected the idea of relying on big powers for the defence of the country or the blandishments of the imperialists and their lackeys who claimed that the DPRK could be well off if unilaterally disarmed itself . Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN said firmly that "As long as the imperialists’ nuclear threat exists, we must keep up simultaneously carrying on the economic construction and the upbuilding of the nuclear forces as an immutable line and further consolidate the nuclear deterrents." .These remarks show the sublime wisdom of  dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN who had put forward the most revolutionary and anti-imperialist line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel.

      The line of developing of developing the economy and nuclear force is a creative application of the line of building the econmy and defence in paraell put forward by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG at the 5th Plenary Meeting of the 4th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea in December 1962.It is a most revolutionary line.

                                                

   Since the adoption of the line of simultaneously developing the economy and nuclear force in parallel the DPRK has leapt forward at an amazing pace. The DPRK crossed the nuclear finishing line and has become a H bomb and ICBM power . In the past year  3 tests of the Hwasong-pho 17 ICBM have beeen conducted . Recently an underwater nuclear attack weapon  was successfully tested .Living standards are increasing greatly. For example new streets such as  Ryomyong Street and Songhwa Stree have sprung up.
  The validity of the line of simultaneously developing the economy and nuclear force in parallel has been proved many times over.We wish the DPRK greater success in implementing the line . Only victory and glory are in store for the DPRK led by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN !

Yoon regime riddled with crimes

Nowadays, south Koreans' curses on and indignation at the Yoon Suk-yeol regime, which sparks off all sorts of vices including social disorder, economic ebb, destitution of people's livelihood and war crisis by its inability and self-righteousness, are ever increasing. "The Yoon government has amplified crisis during last year", "We feel choky. The tenure of Yoon's office has four years to go", "Let's prevent war by ostracizing the Yoon regime!" and "Let's withdraw Yoon, the cause of all vices", these are the outcries heard in every nook and corner of south Korea.    It's an eruption of the south Korean people's indignation at one-year long of Yoon's rule. South Korean people's concern about the advent of the republic under prosecution with inauguration of Yoon has come true. Running against wishes of people, Yoon appointed important positions of the power organs including presidential and administration offices and the National Intelligence Service with those from the Prosecution Service to make the republic under prosecution and create public chaos. The Prosecution Service, police and National Intelligence Service posing themselves as bodyguards of Yoon have suppressed people from all strata demanding the right to live as "criminals" and "hooligans". They have condemned the struggle of the democratic forces for justice and progress as the forces acting on the directions of north Korea and imprisoned people, turning south Korea into a land of darkness.   It stamped out democracy and civil rights by suppressing the workers and opposition parties, and outlawing the trade unions. Under the Yoon regime which has laid the blame for ongoing economic decline at the door of the former regime, the trade balance has reached the ever highest red figures, business groups are on the verge of bankruptcy and the lives of the people are driven to bay.   What is more intolerable is that the situation of the Korean Peninsula is pushed to the brink of war and humiliating pro-Japanese treacherous acts are being committed without end unprecedented in history. The Yoon regime is repeatedly talking about provocation and threat from north Korea, while paying lip-service to security through strength and preemptive strike against north Korea. A roaring sound of war is heard everywhere in the sky, land and sea of south Korea by thoughtless moves of the Yoon regime and all the people are shivering with fear of war. At the same time, the south Koreans' pride is distressed by the south Korean authorities' open connivance at the revival of Japan's militarism for re-aggression and denial of its past crimes. There is no end to enumerate all the crimes committed by the Yoon regime. In a word, all domains including politics, economy, people's livelihood, security and diplomacy are in the worst peril. The current situation accurately shows that as long as Yoon is in power, misfortunes of the people and confusion in south Korea can never be mitigated. The Yoon clique will meet a stern judgment by the south Koreans.

 

In demand of suspension of joint military game

The Peace Action on Korean Peninsula consisted of more than 740 organizations had a peace march in demand of suspension of south Korea-US joint military drill. Participants strongly demanded discontinuance of confrontation, saying that thirteen thousand of south Korean army are involved in Ssangryong military game.   In the march, there were fluttered placards "against antagonism, for peace", "we feel uneasy about breakout of war", "stop south Korea-US joint military exercise" and "no peace with large-scaled military threat". The participants carried with slogan-board "stop south Korea-US joint military game inviting a war", "no south Korea-US war maneuver for nuclear preemptive strike against north Korea" and "Yoon Suk-yeol regime should stop introduction of strategic nuclear weapons from the US".   Meanwhile, the Labor Headquarters of South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration demanded suspension of large-scaled south Korea-US joint military exercise.   It revealed that the military drill to be conducted with the involvement of the US strategic assets according to the plan of "preemptive strike" including "removal of the north Korean leadership" would aggravate the situation of the Korean Peninsula, though it has been billed as an "annual one with defensive nature". The south Korea-US alliance is not a prerequisite for peace of the Korean Peninsula. The Yoon regime should stop south Korea-US joint military game and abrogate the south Korea-US alliance, it sharply demanded. The laborers desirous of peace and removal of war crisis on the Korean Peninsula strongly demanded halt to the joint military game.

The authority of an outstanding leader is the dignity of a nation. It adds brilliance to national prestige. When a minor nation has a great leader, it can become a powerful state which ranks with great powers.

It is the greatest fortune for a nation to have a prominent leader with high prestige.

National prestige of the Juche Korea and the dignity of the people are directly linked with high authority of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Led by Kim Jong Un, north Korea has made rapid progress in the overall development of socialist construction and monumental edifices have been erected and enormous change have been made across the country.

Thanks to his seasoned leadership and great personality, a great heyday of construction has been ushered in year after year, monumental edifices of self-reliance have been built in succession, and the new history of gold mountains, golden fields and golden seas has started and the new flowering period of building socialist civilization has been opened up in north Korea.

A great victory in the epidemic prevention etched in the history of world public health and strong military muscle has been beefed up in defiance of unheard-of extreme trials and north Korea's dignity and prestige have been displayed throughout the world on the highest level.

Kim Jong Un's far-sighted acumen, bold determination and matchless pluck are indeed the source of propelling north Korea along the road of victory and reversing the worst difficult period in the national history into the heyday of bolstering national strength.

The series of world-startling victories and successes are unthinkable apart from stubborn power of execution of Kim Jong Un.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has the absolute authority that has no match with the leaders of any countries as he has rendered distinguished services on behalf of the times and revolution, and the nation with his outstanding ideology, unusual leadership and gigantic revolutionary practice.

Under the sagacious guidance of Kim Jong Un, the greatest-ever person, north Korea will be sure to leap into a world power in which the ideal and dreams of the people are translated into reality, displaying dignity and prestige of the heroic Korea throughout the world in the future.

On the occasion of the 41stanniversary of the publication of "ON THE JUCHE IDEA" by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il, the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea   of England and the Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK jointly issued the following statement:
On the 31st of March it will be  41 years since  the publication of the historic and classic treatise "ON THE JUCHE IDEA " by the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il.
This work of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il fully systematised and carried to a new higher level, the immortal Juche idea authored by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung , the eternal president of the DPRK. President Kim Il Sung had developed the Juche idea over a number of years, important landmarks in this development were the works "Path of the Korean Revolution", "On Eliminating Dogmatism and Formalism and establishing Juche in ideological work"and " On some problems of our party's Juche idea and the government of the Republic's internal and external policies"
Leader Kim Jong Il in his thesis "ON THE JUCHE IDEA" looked at the Juche idea in its entirety . In the work he examined the application of the Juche idea to philosophy and historiography as well the application of the Juche idea in practical fields. In this work for the first time in the history of philosophy leader comrade Kim Jong Il defined the nature and essence of man. He said that man is a being , with independence,creativity and consciousness. These three factors form an integral whole. He taught that Juche proves that man is the master of the world, he said
"The Juche idea shows a new viewpoint and attitude to the world, on the basis of man′s position and role as master of the world.

The viewpoint and attitude to the world shown by the Juche idea are those with which the world is approached by focusing on man, the master of the world.

Taking a man-centred attitude towards the world means approaching the world from the viewpoint of interests of man, the master of the world."

This work demonstrates the true philosophical genius of the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il .

The work "ON THE JUCHE IDEA " brilliantly expounded the superiority of the Juche idea. It showed have it overcame limitations of preceding theories such as determinism and over-emphasis on material and economic factors. At the same time it soundly crushed revisionist and opportunist theories which preached giving up revolution and weakened (and eventually frustrated) the building of socialism.

The work "ON THE JUCHE IDEA " shines brightly as a brilliant manifesto for total human liberation in all fields. It gives correct answers for those building socialism, correct answers for those overcoming imperialist oppression building new independent societies , correct answers for those struggling for independence against imperialism and correct answers for those fighting against capitalist oppression and exploitation.
   Today the Korean people under the leadership of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un are advancing to final victory under the banner of the Juche idea and self-reliance. The Juche-based policy of self-reliance will smash the sanctions of the imperialist hostile forces. It is thanks to Juche and self-reliance that the DPRK has not had a single Covid 19 case .

  There can be no doubt that the 40th anniversary of the publication of 'ON THE JUCHE IDEA ' is a landmark in the history of philosophy.
ON THE JUCHE IDEA is a a work that should be studied by all progressives, anti-imperialists,anti-capitalists ,socialists and communists as well serious students of philosophy.
As it has been said "study the Juche idea , it will cost you nothing but will pay in plenty"
