UK KFA upholds DPRK's independent right to missile tests and slams FCO interference

The UK Korean Friendship Association today issued the following statement :

There is absolutely no need for the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office to put a statement on their website attacking People's Korea for conducting a missile test.
It is time for the blockheads of the FCO to realise that it is not their business to tell the DPRK what it can or cannot do on its own soil.
If the FCO is really concerned about a " peaceful future for the Korean Peninsula." that is should tell the US to withdraw its forces from south Korea and tell the US to lift sanctions on People's Korea . It should also withdraw the token British force from south Korea.
Moreover the DPRK does not need advice from the FCO about entering into meaningful negotiations with the US . It is the independent right of the DPRK to decide whether it talks or not to the US . In fact the DPRK has held 2 summits with the US and a meeting at Panmunjom , there is really little more it can do .
By vociferating about "denuclearisation" the FCO is simply backing regime change in the DPRK !

   Recently the DPRK conducted a successful test of a  super-large multiple launch rocket system in the presence. It was very clear that this was not a test of a ballistic missile but a test of a rocket battery . It did not violate the DPRK-US agreement nor did it contravene any international laws . However Japanese reactionary Prime Minister took issue with it , becoming quite hysterical . Abe showed himself to be real idiot by claiming that it was the launch of a ballistic missile , what a fool is he !
  Abe is clearly trying to whip up anti-DPRK hysteria both within his own country and in the international community .Abe is a modern day Tojo !
  We denounce Abe for recklessly stirring up anti-DPRK hysteria and fanning the flames of tension in the Asia-Pacific region. We support the stern warning of the DPRK Foreign Ministry department vice-director that Abe may one day see a real ballistic missile .
 Japan must stop interfering in Korean affairs !

Abe Ridiculed as Matchlessly Political Dwarf

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A vice director general of the Department of Japanese Affairs of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea released the following statement on Saturday:

He who is born a fool is never cured.

The saying fits perfectly to Japanese Prime Minister Abe whose ignorance and stupidity were fully brought to light when he claimed the recent volley test-fire of the super-large multiple launch rocket system conducted by the DPRK is ballistic missile launch.

Early in November Abe termed the test-fire of the super-large multiple launch rocket system conducted by the DPRK a ballistic missile launch at the ASEAN summit only to be denounced as an underwit who fails to distinguish a missile launch from multiple launch rocket system, and a rare-to-be-seen deformed child. He stills makes an ass of himself.

On November 28 when the volley test-fire of the super-large multiple launch rocket system of the DPRK was conducted successfully amid great satisfaction, Abe convened an emergency meeting of the National Security Council and claimed that it was a ballistic missile launch and grave challenge to the international community with no reason.

Echoing Abe's claim, the chief cabinet secretary, the minister of defence, the foreign minister and other subordinates and media of Japan term the test-fire a "ballistic missile launch".

This time the DPRK made a photo-illustrated report about the recent test-fire with a view to helping such fools as Abe see the projectiles with their eyes wide open.

It can be said that Abe is the only one idiot in the world and the most stupid man ever known in history as he fails to distinguish a missile from multiple launch rocket system while seeing the photo-accompanied report which even civilians who have no knowledge of the "military affairs", to say nothing of soldiers, can know with a single glance.

The whole world is unanimous in saying that the DPRK's recent test-fire is one of multiple launch rocket system, but Abe claims that multiple launch rocket system is missile launch to be ridiculed by the world people.

The wretched sight of Abe makes us regard him as a dog seized with fear or a puppy fawning upon the master like the U.S.

He seems to think that the U.S. will welcome his remarks about "threat from the north" at the juncture when the DPRK-U.S. negotiations are at a stalemate. The political dwarf's thought is very poor.

It is quite natural that Abe is ridiculed as a puppy affected by mange as he fails to tell one thing from another and has plenty of cheek to turn black into white, being excluded from international politics.

The DPRK considers it best not to deal with Abe as dealing with the most stupid person ever known in history and political dwarf out of favor brings disgrace to it. This thought of ours is hardening day by day.

Worse still, it is the height of absurdity that Japan closest to the DPRK with the East Sea of Korea in between claimed that the multiple launch rocket system distinguished across the ocean is ballistic missile launch. It is uglier that Japan is making a fuss about "a serious challenge to not only Japan but also the international community", "threat from the north" and "protest" over the shell which did not drop in the waters off Japan.

No one beat Abe, but evidently he is a thoughtless fool as he insists that he was beaten.

There is a Korean saying that a fool makes a rod for himself.

Abe may see what a real ballistic missile is in the not distant future and under his nose.

Abe would be well-advised to distinguish multiple launch rocket from a ballistic missile.

Abe is none other than a perfect imbecile and a political dwarf without parallel in the world.

   The Korean Central News Agency reported that "The volley test-fire aimed to finally examine the combat application of the super-large multiple launch rocket system proved the military and technical superiority of the weapon system and its firm reliability."
  The DPRK's self-defence capabilities are increasing by leaps and bounds and a sure guarantee for peace and security on the Korean peninsula .
  The successful test is another victory for Juche, self-reliance and Songun .Final victory belong to the Korean people under the leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN !

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Inspects Test-fire of Super-large Multiple Launch Rocket System

Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, inspected the test-fire of the super-large multiple launch rocket system conducted by the Academy of Defence Science.

Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un was greeted at the launching ground by Ri Pyong Chol, first vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Jong Sik, vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, and Jang Chang Ha, Jon Il Ho and other leading officials in the field of scientific researches for national defence.

Also inspecting the test-fire were Army General Pak Jong Chon, chief of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, and commanders of the large combined units of the KPA.

The volley test-fire aimed to finally examine the combat application of the super-large multiple launch rocket system proved the military and technical superiority of the weapon system and its firm reliability.

The Supreme Leader expressed great satisfaction over the results of the test-fire.

The commanders of the large combined units of the KPA sincerely extended their congratulations and gratitude to the Supreme Leader who saw to it that lots of arms and equipment of powerful performance were developed and perfected this year for the military and technical strengthening of the KPA. -0-

What UK KFA wants from an incoming British government

UK KFA does not support any party or candidate in the forthcoming general election .
However what we would look for from any incoming British government is the following
*An end to the sanctions against the DPRK . We believe that the UK should tear up the UNSC and EU sanctions against the DPRK and revoke the financial sanctions against the DPRK imposd by the UK

• UK support for the independent reunification of Korea
• withdrawal of any British forces still in south Korea
•  for the UK to support the withdrawal of US troops from south Korea
• End UK financial support for DPRK 'defectors' and anti DPRK activities
•  UK to stop supporting anti DPRK Human Rights Resolutions in the UN
•  increased trade with the DPRK and a post Brexit trade deal with the DPRK
•  Increased cultural exchange with the DPRK .

We urge members and supporters to ask candidates whether they support these measures.

 Tomorrow the 29th of November will the second anniversary of the successful test fire of the Hwasong 15 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile by the DPRK in the presence of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .
   The Hwasong 15 test signified that the task of completing the state nuclear force of the DPRK had been completed and that the DPRK was entering a new stage of the revolution in which it could concentrate efforts on economic construction and improving people's living standards.
The Hwasong 15 launch  showed the advance of the DPRK in nuclear and missile technology was unstoppable no matter what sanctions the US imperialists may impose. Secondly , it demonstrated the correctness of the line of building the economy and nuclear force in parallel. Thirdly, it was testimony to the vitality f the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and the self-development first idea .  Fourthly, it was a manifestation of the validity and vitality of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea. Some  reactionaries and revisionists like to pour cold water on the Juche Idea but the success of the Hwasong 15  proved them wrong.
 Thanks to the completion of building the state nuclear force   the DPRK was able to hold the successful June 12th summit with the US president and sit down and negotiate with the US on equal terms. A great achievement .
  We salute the  2nd anniversary of the Hwasong 15 ICBM launch ,  great victory for independence , peace , progress and Juche-based socialism. Peace has been secured by the DPRK ICBMs !

Things you won't find in Pyongyang , some experiences of an early evening walk in the DPRK-special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

                                                   

 

 It is common for detractors of People's Korea and of socialism in general to say "oh but they do not have this  and they do not have that ... "Lets look at some of the things the DPRK does not have .

On the evening of the 13th  of October after our delegation and the Italian delegation had returned from a most enjoyable excursion to Panmunjom , Kaesong and the Pakyon Falls  , we decided to go for a walk around the central part of Pyongyang . There are indeed many things that can be seen easily in Britain an indeed other capitalists but were absent from Pyongyang.
                               

  We started our walk from the Koryo Hotel . We walked past several restaurants.  We did not see litter or fast food wrappers strewn on the pavements  The pavement seemed clean and there was a nice grass verge separating it from the street. We do not see beggars or homeless people. Now these are all too common in London and other capitalist countries  In the centre of London one can easily see 5 to 10 homeless people begging in a small area , even in the suburbs of London homeless people can be found. I read today that in the UK one homeless person dies every 19 hours.
   There was no sign of vandalism or graffiti . We did not see any slum area either .
  We did not see estate agent shops offering homes for rent at very high amounts ,in London it is not uncommon to find properties to rent for a £1,000 per month and in the centre of London even an extortionate and staggering £5,000 per month ! . In the DPRK housing is virtually free . There are no greedy landlords or property companies. no high rents or rip off service charges !.
                             

Although strong liquor l is cheap in the DPRK ( you can get a small bottle of Pyongyang liquor for about a Euro whereas a bottle of strong liquor in the UK costs about £8 or£9  at least  ) we do not see any chronic alcoholics  loitering on the streets with cans of lager or sprawling drunk on the pavement . Nor did we encounter the stench of drugs. Frequently in London one encounters the awful smell of dope being smoked . When I lived on a council estate in Woolwich, the smell of dope was so overpowering it nearly knocked me over  . Pyongyang citizens are free from this, the air in Pyongyang is clean and fresh ,free from contamination from the smell of cannabis  .
  In the DPRK you do not have the sources of alcohol dependency and addictive drug use  as there is no unemployment , poverty or social alienation .
   We did not see a betting shop  on the streets of Pyongyang . It is not uncommon to see 2 or 3 betting shops within a small area in London . Also absent from Pyongyang were pawnbrokers or dodgy money lending shops which thrive on the misery and poverty of people .
  We did not see any prostitutes nor so-called 'sex shops' . There were no shops in Pyongyang selling pornography but in the UK you can find pornography in any newsagent or corner shop .Prostitution was abolished in the DPRK back in the 1940s and there are plenty of jobs and careers for women .
  Yes , there are a lot of things you cannot find in Pyongyang this is true ! . Towards the end of our walk we came across a huge department store packed with many goods . Our Italian friend Marco and his guide decided to go inside . We continued our walk and headed back to the hotel. We passed the brightly lit Pyongyang railway station. The streets were well lit. Another myth about the DPRK is that it completely dark , completely black at night  .This is not what we saw in Pyongyang . I suspect that the satellite pictures that purport to show this have either been photo-shopped or are completely fake or very out of date  !
                                 

  Our walk proved most educational . We learnt a lot about the difference between Juche socialism and corrupt capitalism . People's Korea is better off without the 'gifts' of capitalism and does not need to so-called 'assistance ' of imperialism!

Visiting the Party Foundation Museum and Monument to Party Foundation on the day of Founding the Workers Party of Korea -by Dr Dermot Hudson

                                                 

During our visit to People's Korea in October 2019 it was the 74th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea so we visited the Party Foundation Museum and the Monument to Party Foundation on October 10th , the day that the Workers 'Party of Korea was founded by the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG and now led by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .
    The Workers Party of Korea is the supreme general staff of the Korean revolution , the organiser and guide of all the victories of the Korean people. As dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN wrote
"Success in the revolution and construction depends on how a party, the General Staff of the revolution, is built and on how its leadership role is enhanced."
                                             

    The Party Foundation Museum is located in the centre of Pyongyang . It was here that the Workers Party of Korea was founded and the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG lived and worked. The original building was destroyed by the Yankee bombers during the Fatherland Liberation War and an exact replica of the building was constructed at a later date.
   We were shown the main hall were the party was founded on the 10th of October. At the front there was a picture of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG . On the walls at the sides there were pictures of Marx, Engels , Lenin and Stalin . Some people have accused the DPRK and Workers' Party of Korea of 'abandoning Marxism-Leninism ' etc but the fact the the pictures of the founders of Marxism -Leninism are displayed at an important museum shows this is not true ( and also a large picture of JV Stalin is displayed at the International Friendship Exhibition as well) . However Stalin died 7 years before I was born , Lenin 95 years ago , Engels  124 years ago and Marx 136 years ago . Thus their theories are subject to historical limitation and the leaders of the DPRK  President KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL authored and developed the Juche Idea to meet the needs of the time.
  The foundation of the Workers Party of Korea was not a single act but a process . This was markedly different to other countries where communist parties were founded by seceding from social democratic parties or different groups united . The process which began in 1926 with the formation of the Down With Imperialism Union by President KIM IL SUNG when he was young  and culminated with the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea or Communist Party of North Korea on October 10th .
                                             

 In the afternoon we visited the Party Foundation Monument which was constructed in 1995 to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea . It was constructed under the guidance of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL . It is situated  in East Pyongyang but is is a direct line with the Korean Revolution Museum and the statues of the great leaders comrade KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL . I liked the area around the Party Foundation Monument it is very spacious and clean with blocks of flats nearby . In London and other capitalist countries it would be unthinkable for working people to live in such a fine area near to a national monument .
                                                       

    The monument to Party Foundation consists of a hammer , sickle and writing brush pointing upwards to the sky . The WPK is different to other communist parties  instead of only a hammer and sickle representing the workers and peasants , there is a writing brush to represent the intellectuals . The  hammer ,sickle and writing brush  are within a circular band which symbolises the single hearted unity of the masses , party and leader,  . Depicted on the inner side  band were different sections of society such as workers , farmers and soldiers and also south Korean patriots fighting for reunification .
  Visiting both the Party Foundation Museum and the Party Foundation Monument made realise that the Workers' Party of Korea founded by the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG is the force leading the Korean people forward . Under the leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the WPK and Korean people will hold higher the banner of self-reliance and achieve final victory .

On the 24th of November  it was 23 years the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL,eternal general secretary of the Workers's Party of Korea visited Panmunjom on the  at a time when the US imperialists and world reactionaries were running wild to stifle Juche Korea the fortress of world socialism.
                       

   Moreover the visit of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL to Panmunjom where the DPRK and US stand in confrontation with one  another,basically the front-line between imperialism and socialism in the world shook the US imperialists rigid with fear.
   Panmunjom is a place that symbolises the tragic division of  Korea's by the US imperialists and great powers, it is also the place where the US imperialists acknowledged their defeat in the Korean war by signing at the armistice agreement  on the 27th of July 1953.It was known as one of the most dangerous flash points in the world as it is here where socialism and imperialism confront each other with arms.                            

    For the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL to visit Panmunjom was a courageous thing to do as the guns of the imperialists and puppets would be trained on him. However he had no fear of the enemy, moreover he demonstrated his desire which is also the desire of the entire Korean people north and south to end the division of Korea forthwith. He visited the monument to the autograph of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG, this was the signature on a document for the peaceful reunification of Korea. The visit of the great leader eternal chairman KIM JONG IL  to Panmunjom  was symbolic of his will and intention to reunify Korea without delay.
         

   Now the work of great generalissimo KIM JONG IL and his policies for national reunification are being carried forward splendidly by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN . Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is  realising the will and intention of  chairman KIM JONG IL to reunify Korea without delay m   !

Echo of Panmunjeom

Echo of Panmunjeom It has been 23 years since Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected the truce village of Panmunjeom on Nov. 24 1996. His inspection of Panmunjeom was an event of historic significance which caused a worldwide sensation. Panmunjeom is the acutest place in the world.  It is the place where war and peace have been interchanged for decades and reunification and division have stood in standoff with each other. Chairman Kim Jong Il inspected Panmunjeom where long-standing tension and danger is prevalent. It was a bold decision and historic inspection made by the Chairman who devoted himself to Korea’s reunification. His inspection of Panmunjeom evoked lively response among south Korean people. They highly praised that only Chairman Kim Jong Il, who was born in Mt. Paektu, could make such bold decision to visit the truce village of Panmunjeom. Taken aback by the news of his inspection of Panmunjeom, Washington, Tokyo and Seoul suffered from fear and uneasiness They made an outcry that atomic bomb exploded under their feet and the US information system GPS proved ineffectual by fog accompanied by the Chairman. His inspection gave hope of and optimism about the national reunification but a staggering blow to the anti-reunification elements

Military confab against north Korea

On Nov. 14 and 15, the US and south Korea had the 44th meeting of military commission and the 51st annual security consultative meeting to persist in military pressure against north Korea.

The joint statement issued at the meeting said that they’ll consolidate military readiness and combined defense, reaffirm offer of extended deterrence of the US and nukes to south Korea, keep security cooperation between south Korea, the US and Japan against north Korea.

At the 6th defense ministerial meeting of ASEAN nations held on Nov.17 in Thailand, defense minister meeting between south Korea, the US and Japan and south Korea-Japan were held to consolidate military collusion against north Korea.

 It was very dangerous discussion to escalate the tension on the Korean Peninsula and make the situation unstable as it’s aiming to put the pressure upon north Korea with military confrontation and pressure through strength from A to Z.

 Due to the reckless military provocation and confrontation of the US, Japan and south Korean warmongers, the situation on the Korean Peninsula is driven to a more uncontrollable catastrophe.

The offer of extended deterrence and military readiness against north Korea touted by south Korean and the US military is an open military declaration against north Korea.

The south Korean military warmongers are giving green light to the plan for invasion of north Korea fabricated by the US and Japan under the cloak of the triangular military alliance indifferent to inter-Korean military agreement.

Their advertisement of “dialogue” and “improvement of inter-Korean relations” are deceptive and their hostile policies toward DPRK remain unchanged but get worse.

It’s very clear that the south Korean and US war-thirsty forces’ reckless acts would invite bad results.

 The Korean nation is intensifying the struggle against war for peace, expressing apprehension of grave situation of the Korean Peninsula caused by the US and south Korean bellicose forces.

KCNA Commentary Condemns Abe Group for Denying Sexual Slavery

Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- Japan included in "2019 Diplomatic Blue Book" a sentence that "the expression called sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army should not be used as it is contrary to the fact".

In the final analysis, it means that reasonable is Japan's assertion that the sexual slaves for the Imperial Japanese Army were the "prostitutes and their behaviors were the voluntary services for money".

The gangster-like sophism of Japan unaware of ethics and dishonor is, indeed, the height of turning black into white and the unpardonable mockery of not only the victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army but also the entire Korean nation which suffered all sorts of misfortune and pain owing to the Japanese imperialists' aggression in the last century.

The open denial of the well-known crime is an impudent act intended to distort Japan's history of aggression and evade the settlement of its past.

It is the unpardonable crime against humanity that Japan reduced women of several countries including 200 000 Korean women into sexual playthings, ruining their youth and infringing upon their rights.

Human history records a lot of wars but knows no such a group of beasts as Japan which established the system of sexual slavery by exercising the state power and used women as a means for realizing its ambition to invade other countries while taking them to the battlefields by force.

The sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army is, indeed, the most inhuman, immoral and brutal crime against humanity of all the war crimes committed by the island nation.

Hundreds of thousands of female victims who were reduced into playthings of the Imperial Japanese Army were by no means those "giving mental comfort to officers and men serving on the front" but slaves who were deprived of their basic rights and right to existence, to say nothing of dignity as woman and human being.

The Japanese imperialists not only violated women as they pleased, treating them nothing less than animals but also did not bother to commit such heinous crimes as shooting, burning, burying and killing them in group in every quarter to cover up the truth of their crimes.

This is the truth of history which can never be buried.

Despite the disclosure of the sexual slavery committed by Japan one by one by the testimonies made by the victims and records of history, Japan works hard to delete the parts related with its crimes from the textbooks and check the erection of statues of girl sexual slaves.

Not content with such attempts, Japan specified in a sentence in an official document that an expression which means the sexual slavery should not be used.

The Abe group's impudent behavior doubles the will of the Korean nation to settle accounts with Japan, its sworn enemy, without fail.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Inspects Women's Company under KPA Unit 5492

Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, inspected a women's company under Unit 5492 of the Korean People's Army.

The company located at the remote seaside on the southwestern front is associated with a warm story that Chairman Kim Jong Il was proud of servicepersons of the women company who asked after President Kim Il Sung's good health among others, missing the President awake or asleep, showed warm loving care for them and whenever an opportunity presented itself he said he would make time to visit the company surely, pointing out he would not forget their voices of loyalty carrying pure heart for a long time.

The company is also associated with the leadership feats of Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un who three years ago took a special measure for a month-long intensive education for the company commander who failed to properly command artillery firing at the artillery company firing game of the KPA and organized an intensive company training later so that the company had an honor of taking the first place at the Second Master Gunners Prize Game.

Noting that when he visited the company without notice on an ordinary day, the company servicepersons were on duty for the defence of front with heightened vigilance, he expressed great satisfaction and praised them for their efforts.

Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, inspected the Changrin Islet defence detachment on the western front.

Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un, conducted by the commanding officers, made round of the historic site.

Seeing the monument to the field guidance of Chairman Kim Jong Il which was built to hand down the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who left the legendary traces of army commanding in the islet 45 years ago, the Supreme Leader was lost in deep thought about him.

He said that we should further cement the might of the invincible army as desired by Kim Jong Il so as to devotedly safeguard the socialist country and glorify it to the whole world, pointing out that the undying history of leadership for army building of the Chairman who left traces of loving care in the islet post and gave valuable instructions for the completion of the combat preparations by making a long and rough maritime journey with the worry about the living conditions of our servicepersons at the forefront post would be handed down through generations.

He made rounds of the defence detachment headquarters, company quarters, education room, mess hall, beans warehouse, subsidiary food warehouse, greenhouse, bath house, fire position, observation post and other objects of the islet post to learn in detail about the living conditions of the servicepersons and combat preparations of the defence detachment.

At the company quarters he learned in detail about living and sanitary goods being supplied to the servicepersons such as toothbrush, toothpaste and soap and blanket and clothes and the water quantity and quality of the islet, the introduction of solar water heater, heating of the quarters, etc. and showed a loving care as their parents would do.

At the education room he was satisfied with the fact that with the establishment of data transmission system at units and subunits as a whole including islet defence units and frontline units, servicepersons read and study the Party and army newspapers every day and so a big problem was solved for political and ideological education and political, ideological and mental pabulum could be given to the servicepersons every day.

He pointed out that all the servicepersons who fulfill their sacred duty to defend the country with arms of the revolution in their hands on a remote islet forefront are our precious comrades-in-arms and dear children of the people, adding that we should take responsibilities for their growth before the people, help the servicepersons know the spirit of collectivism and cultivate independence, self-sustenance, assiduity and devotion through the fulfillment of military tasks and life experience so that the servicepersons further train themselves to be resolute revolutionaries and true human beings in the days of honorable military service, and educate and lead them to voluntarily observe steel-strong military discipline and cherish patriotism and comradeship and have them properly establish the revolutionary world outlook and to this end it is necessary always to pay attention to the political and ideological education, education in morality and cultural education.

He noted that constant efforts should be made to provide the servicepersons with better conditions for cultural life, units and subunits should establish the traits of reading and studying as their customs and tradition and go ahead with more brisk mass sports and mass-based cultural and art activities so that the servicepersons spend their days of worthwhile military service full of militant zeal and optimism with versatile knowledge, sound body and cultural attainments.

He was much satisfied to see goods for supply service filled in bean warehouse, subsidiary food warehouse and kitchen.

He said he felt easy about the fact that the defence detachment laid firm foundation for logistics and push ahead with meticulous economic life so as to provide subunits with affluent dietary life, noting that as supply service leads to successful combat preparations, it is necessary to pay attention to supply service all the time, make efforts to provide the servicepersons with affluent dietary life, push ahead with a movement for attaining without fail beans production goal of 2 tons per hectare and wage a persevering struggle to unconditionally produce and supply meat, eggs, seafood, mushroom and various kinds of vegetables according to the supply standard stipulated by him.

At the greenhouse built by the defence detachment he gave tasks for vegetable production and greenhouse farming. He stressed the need to build a new apple orchard around the islet defence detachment headquarters, cultivate grape in precinct of the headquarters and residential quarters, saying that he will send high-yielding grape whose output is over 50 tons per hectare for grape farming and asking the detachment to do rape farming surely. It is good for the detachment to plant various species of fruit tress to produce a lot of fruits and provide the servicepersons with them according to season, he added.

He acquainted himself with school and kindergarten conditions of the islet defence detachment, taking meticulous care of education of the children of the families of the officers.

He met with servicepersons on duty to defend the frontline at the gun battery of the coastal artillery company of the islet defence detachment.

He said that the arms and equipment of the defence detachment are important but it is more important to safeguard the forefront of the country by dint of the servicepersons with class conscience. He noted that he visited the defence detachment without a notice on an ordinary day like today and he feels at ease to see all the servicepersons on duty to guard over frontline with high vigilance. He stated that the forefront of the country is firmly defended thanks to a high degree of political awareness of the servicepersons and their sharpened vigilance, will to defend the country and devoted efforts, adding that as there are reliable servicepersons of the People's Army, the security of the country and happiness of the people are firmly guaranteed.

At the observation post he was informed of the deployment of subunits of the islet defence detachment and their combat mission and gave the chief of the General Staff accompanying him a task to increase the fighting efficiency of the defence detachment and to change its combat mission.

He indicated the target for Gun 2 of the coastal artillery company on combat duty and gave an order to fire.

The servicepersons of the coastal artillery company fully showed their gun firing skills they cultivated in their day-to-day training to delight the Supreme Leader.

He said that to make combat preparations and increase fighting efficiency are just the supreme patriotism of the People's Army, the People's Army should work hard with permanent hold on to the line of making it politically, ideologically and morally stronger and make it stronger in terms of military technology, we should give scientific, pragmatic, real war-like drill with higher degree of intensity to the servicepersons for their full political, ideological, physical and technological preparations so that they can carry out any operation and combat mission and notably artillery units and subunits should keep on the brisk movement for becoming crackshots.

He stressed the need for the units and subunits at all levels of the People's Army to make technical arrangements and technical management in a responsible manner for full preparations for regular mobilization of the weapons and combat and technical apparatuses and set up a well-knit system of examining them on a regular basis and taking steps so that all the units are in full readiness for carrying out a combat mission any moment.

He gave the islet defence detachment a pair of binoculars, automatic rifle and machine gun carrying great trust and expectations as souvenirs and had a significant photo session with the servicepersons and families of the islet defence detachment.

Speech commemorating 25 years since Great Leader, President Kim Il Sung, passed away

Dear comrades and friends,
This year, in July, it was  25 years since our beloved and esteemed leader, President Kim Il Sung, suddenly passed away, leaving behind a truly prosperous country, a land of eternal happiness and prosperity.A quarter of a century has passed without our Great Revolutionary, the Liberator of Korea from the yoke of the Japanese imperialists, the staunch defender of the Socialist Fatherland in the face of the US imperialist aggression and also the founder of the great Juche Idea. Because of all these reasons, I hereby want to remind to all who are here today the huge achievements of the Eternal President.
President Kim Il Sung was the man who led to victory the just struggle of the Korean people against the Japanese imperialists military occupation, achieving the cause of national liberation in one generation.
The first step taken by the President concerning the anti-Japanese armed struggle was the creation in 1926 of the Down-with-Imperialism-Union (DIU), the first genuine communist organization in Korea, and also the creation of the Young Communist League. In July 1930, the Kalun Conference took place, President Kim Il Sung creating for the first time in the history of the international working class, the great Ideas of Juche and Songun, a brand new outlook of the world, putting the man in its centre.
In 1932, the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army (AJPGA), was formed by President Kim Il Sung, in order to wage the armed struggle for the liberation of the country and people from the oppression of the Japanese imperialists. In 1934, it was transformed into the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army (KPRA). The KPRA represented the first army in the history of Korea that had as its backbone the sons and daughters of workers, peasants, and other patriotic people. Moreover, it was the first army of the Korean People educated in the spirit of proletarian internationalism and Marxism-Leninism.
The day of August 15, 1945, brought the long-awaited Liberation of the Korean people, after 40 years of colonial enslavement imposed upon Korea by the Japanese imperialists. The Korean People’s Revolutionary Army, fighting alongside the Soviet Army, smashed to pieces the Kwantung Army of the Japanese imperialists, marching forward into the homeland.
After the liberation of the country from the military occupation of Japan, the next fundamental task to be accomplished was the revolutionary transformation of the society. President Kim Il Sung launched without delay the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution, the first towards the complete liquidation of all reactionaries and class enemies, such as landlords and bureaucratic capitalists. During this period, the Agrarian Reform was enacted. 1,000,325 hectares of land belonging to Japanese imperialists and traitors to the country were confiscated and distributed to approximately 724,522 peasants with no land at all, thus the remaining vestiges of the old feudal society being completely wiped aut. In August 1946, all means of production, such as factories, banks, transport and communications were fully nationalised, becoming property of the people. In the same year, President Kim Il Sung procclaimed the Law on Sex Equality.
The year 1948 was marked by very important events in the history of the Korean Revolution. On February 8, 1948, the Korean People’s Army was founded, the regular armed forces of the DPRK, which are always ready to defend the revolutionary gains of the people. In April, in Pyongyang took place the historical Conference of Political Parties and Social Organizations of North and South Korea, in an effort to prevent the division of the country. In the same year, under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, there were organized elections for deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly (August 1948). In the North, over 99,98 percent of the people voted, while in the South, despite the harsh repression they were facing from the reactionary regime and US imperialists, 77,25 percent of the people took part in the elections. On the basis of the elections for SPA, President Kim Il Sung proclaimed to the world the founding of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on September 9, 1948. The Political Programme of the Government of the DPRK laid a solid foundation for the transition to the next stage of the Korean Revolution, that is the socialist revolution. Unfortunately, this process would be delayed by the armed invasion of the south Korean puppet army, at the instigation of the US imperialists, on the morning of June 25, 1950.
After the US imperialist army occupied the South, installing a fascist military government, the next step these criminals took was to provoke a war against the DPRK, in an effort to swallow the whole Peninsula, as a base for launching a war against the Soviet Union and the People’s Republic of China, in a desperate attempt to stiftle the fight for socialism, peace and democracy. In the morning of June 25, 1950, the  Syngman Rhee fascist puppet regime, at the orders of the US imperialists, launched a full-scale invasion against the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. President Kim Il Sung immediately ordered the People’s Army to start a counter-offensive in order to frustrate the invasion. In just three days, the heroic Korean People’s Army managed to liberate Seoul, the capital of the puppet regime, continued to march forward, liberating the cities of Taejon, Pusan, destroying on its way the US and south Korean puppet troops . 90% of the Korean Peninsula was liberated by the Korean People’s Army, but the situation changed drastically in September 1950, after the Inchon landing, when the US imperialists mobilized its Mediteranean fleet and also requested the support of the armed mercenaries from 15 countries (UK, Colombia, Taiwan, monarcho-fascist Greece and even the Japanese reactionaries). President Kim Il Sung issued an order for the Korean People’s Army to perform a strategic retreat, so as  to defend the territory of the DPRK. The entry in the war of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army (CPV), as decided by Chairman Mao, proved to be decisive in the fight against the US imperialist invasion, by the end of 1950, the whole territory of the Republic being completely liberated from occupation of the fascist puppet regime and the US imperialists. The front line was then stabilized around the 38th Parallel, all the US imperialists attempts at trying to start a counter-attack being frustrated by the brave soldiers of the Korean People’s Army, in fierce battles such as the one from the Height 1211. The day of July 27, 1953, brought to a victorious end the Fatherland Liberation War, US imperialism being forced to accept its defeat by signing the Armistice Agreement. Thus, President Kim Il Sung proved the correctness of comrade Stalin’s words : „history proved that there are no invincible armies”. The Korean people, led by President Kim Il Sung gave to the whole world a lesson of courage and determination in the face of the most dangerous enemies of peace and socialism.
After the end of the war, the new task that stood in front of the Korean people, led by President Kim Il Sung was the reconstruction of the country, ravaged by the heavy bombardments of the imperialists, and also the advance towards socialism. The Korean people rapidly fulfilled this task, so that in just a few years after 1953, the DPRK was entirely rebuilt from scratch. Concerning the ideological question, President Kim Il Sung strongly advocated for the unity of the international communist movement, rejected the erroneous theses presented by the arch-traitor Khrushchev at the XX Congress of the CPSU, held in February 1956. President Kim Il Sung fully understood the necessity of the continuing of the class struggle during socialism, defeating the the Li Sung Yop-Pak Hon-Yong reactionary clique and the Kim Tu-Bong- Pak Chang-Ok factionalist group, which was espousing revisionist and counter-revolutionary tendencies. Important to mention is that during the 3rd Congress of the Workers Party of Korea, President Kim Il Sung defended the revolutionary legacy of comrade Stalin, which irritated the Soviet revisionist clique.
One of the biggest achievements of President Kim Il Sung is the creation of the Juche Idea, according to which the man is the master of his destiny, and the popular masses are playing an active part in the socialist construction and revolutionary transformation of the society. These principles are in full concordance with dialectical materialism, rejecting any idealist or religious superstition. President Kim Il Sung was guided by the boundless love for the people, dedicating his all for the prosperity and well-being of the people,  his lifetime motto being „The people are my God”. Another important achievement of President Kim Il Sung is the successful accomplishment of the Three Revolutions: Technological, Cultural, and Ideological, which had as a result the improvement of the ideological level of the Party cadres, the technological development of the country and the complete eradication of the old bourgeois culture and mentality that was replaced by the new proletarian culture and way of life. Thus, the DPRK transformed into a developed socialist country, all traces of the feudal customs and mentality being wiped out. The style of socialism implemented by President Kim Il Sung also enjoyed the support and admiration of other leaders of the socialist states, such as comrade Nicolae Ceaușescu. În July 1971, comrade Ceaușescu made a visit in the DPRK and being impressed by the Korean-style socialism, he decided to adopt some of its elements, publishing the July Theses. I must also remind the comradely attitude shown by President Kim Il Sung towards comrade Ceaușescu during this visit, by organizing a magnificent parade to honour the friendship between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Romania. I pledge that in a future Socialist Romania, the first step to be made will be the strengthening of our close relations with the DPRK.
President Kim Il Sung also made uninterrupted efforts concerning the reunification of the  Fatherland. In 1972, he made public „The Three Principles for the Reunification of the Fatherland”, and in 1980 he drew up the project for the creation of a confederal republic, which was to be named the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, in honour of the first unified state in the history of Korea. These were the first significant steps concerning the reunification, contributing a lot to the progress made after he passed away, resulting in two inter-Korean summits, held in 2000 and 2007 under the leadership of General Kim Jong Il and three more summits under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. That being said, President Kim Il Sung was among the first patriotic fighters for the cause of reunification. I am anxiously waiting for the day when the reunification will come true.
Because of all these achievements, President Kim Il Sung is and will remain immortal in the hearts of the Korean people and all progressive peoples of the world. President Kim Il Sung will shine forever, being the most beloved leader of all Korean people. President Kim Il Sung has not passed away and he will never pass away. President Kim Il Sung, you will always live in our hearts! Your spirit will always guide us in the fight for the reunification of the Fatherland and for the triumph of the communist cause in the whole world.

Eight years have passed since the demise of Comrade Kim Jong Il (December 17, 2011)

Comrade Kim Jong Il was the greatest of great men, both in name and in practice. By his death, the world lost the most outstanding man.

He enshrined and developed in a comprehensive way the Juche Idea authored by Comrade Kim Il Sung, founding-father of socialist Korea and pioneer of the cause of independence of mankind. He published a great number of works covering all spheres of social life-political, economic, military and cultural-thus ceasingly developing the Juche Idea in depth. Now the Juche Idea shines more brightly as the banner of the cause of mankind for independence.

When the cause of socialism was undergoing trials after collapse of socialism in several countries, he wrote such important works as "Abuse of Socialism are intolerable" and "Socialism is a science", proving that socialism is the invariable ideal of humanity.

In the late 1990s when anti-socialist offensive of the imperialist allied forces were focused on socialist Korea, Comrade Kim Jong Il put forward Songun politics as the basic mode of socialist politics by developing in depth the Songun idea that struck its root in the Juche Idea. This provided a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon with which the progressive peoples of the world could advance the socialist cause winning victory after victory under any circumstances and conditions.

Comrade Kim Jong Il was a master of leadership.

He ushered in the heyday of prosperity unprecedented in the history of the Korean nation. In the second half of the 1990s when Korea faced manifold hardship caused by the extreme economic blockade and military stifling manoeuvres of the US-led imperialist allied forces and by consecutive natural disasters, he safeguarded socialism holding higher the banner of Songun, opening a new era of building a prosperous and powerful socialist country. Korea, thanks to his grand plan and his energetic leadership, could become a manufacturer and launcher of artificial earth satellite and a nuclear state. He kindled the flames of an industrial revolution of the new century to ensure that miraculous successes were achieved in all sectors of Korea's economy.

Comrade Kim Jong Il opened a radiant vista for Korea's reunification.

Grandiose June 15 reunification era, whose principle is By Our Nation Itself, was opened as the outcome of the adoption of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration (June 2000) and October 4 Declaration (October 2007). it is a steadfast aspiration of the entire Korean nation to implement these declarations to the letter and achieve the independent reunification of their country by their concerted efforts, whatever the situation.

Comrade Kim Jong Il pressed ahead with the cause of global independence holding aloft the banner of anti-imperialist independence. His energetic foreign activities conducted on the principle of independence, peace and friendship made a great contribution to building a new, independent world and defending peace and stability of the world.

Comrade Kim Jong Il was the benevolent father of people. He cherished people's happiness as his biggest wish and worked hard for its realization. He passed away on the train on his way for on-site guidance by a sudden attack of illness caused by mental and physical exertions. His tory has never witnessed such a great man who sacrificed himself heart and soul only for the people.

Comrade Kim Jong Il will live for all eternity in the hearts of the Korean people and the progressive peoples of the world.
