The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK  (ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England (JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement in support of the statement of Kim Yong Chol , Chairman the Korea-Asia Pacific Peace Committee (KAPPC) of the Democratic People's Republic (DPRK):
Following on from the warning given by a spokesman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission on Wednesday , the US has made noises about adjusting the planned US-south Korean air drill in December with a view to promoting diplomacy with the DPRK . However it is very unclear as to what is really meant by the US ,whether they actually do plan to cancel the exercises or withdraw from them leaving only south Korea in them.
Kim Yong Chol the chairman of the KAPPC(who was the chief negotiator in DPRK-US talks )  in his statement expresses the hope that this is indeed part of a positive effort to boost diplomacy with the DPRK. However at the same time he sternly cautions that "if this ends up with our naive interpretation and the hostile provocation is committed eventually to incite us, we will be compelled to answer with shocking punishment that would be difficult for the U.S. to cope with."
The US should stop messing about and unconditionally cancel the planned exercises . Moreover if talks with the DPRK are to be successful then the US must withdraw its  hostile policy.
