The greatest plunderers of the Koryo ceramics were the resident-generals, governor-generals or other colonialist ringleaders.

Ito Hirobumi, main culprit in the invasion of Korea, was the ringleader of the gangsters who hoarded the Korean ceramics to Japan.

Referring to this, the author of the Tojayojok wrote “... the initial fever of the antique collection started from the time when Ito Hirobumi began to hoard them randomly” revealing Ito Hirobumi had been the greatest plunderer.

Go to the carriage and take them with you!” Soon they vied to the carriage and made a fuss to take broken celadon and dishes.

The real intention of Ito’s frenzy of pillaging the Koryo ceramics came not from any knowledge on the artistic or archaeological values, but from the constitutional gangster-like nature for destroying the excellent culture of Korea to kill the pride of the Korean nation and the sordid purpose of demonstrating the authority as the highest power holder of the colony and chieftain of Japan’s aggression of Korea.

The book defines 2012-2019 as "The 1st phase of Kim Jong Un era" and deals with the immortal feats the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has performed on the road for building prosperous country and change in inter-Korean ties and foreign relations.

KCNA Blasts Japan's Claim to "Exclusive Defence

Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Japan has taken off the mask of "exclusive defense" with which it had deceived the international community.

Shortly ago, new Prime Minister Kishida at an interview with the domestic media revealed his intent to specify the possession of the long-contented "capability for attacking the enemy base" in the national security strategy to be revised.

The possession of the capability envisaging neutralizing the enemy base before the latter launches a missile would make it possible to make a preemptive strike at other countries and provoke a war of aggression against them, and this amounts to an unpardonable act contrary to the Article 9 of the Constitution of Japan which stipulates the renunciation of war and the abandonment of the right to belligerency, to say nothing of the international treaties.

The "exclusive defense" can never go with the possession of the "capability for making a preemptive strike".

The conception of "exclusive defense" which the Japanese reactionaries have described as the "mainstay of security" over several decades after the war has finally become defunct.

As everybody admits, the "exclusive defence" is just a deceptive signboard.

Japan has used it for covering up its revanchist ambition and moves to turn Japan into a military power and for painting itself as a peace-loving force.

It is under this signboard that Japan replaced the article of "no access to militancy", core article of the "Pacifist Constitution", by expansion of "Self-Defense Forces'" scope of operation to space and avenged the deprivation of the rights to belligerency and to participation in war with all sorts of overseas military acts in Iraq and other areas under the plea of "security".

The frantic introduction of preemptive attack-type sophisticated hardware like the purchase of latest stealth fighter, the development of long-range cruise missile and the possession of aircraft carrier in recent years can never be explained with the concept of "defence".

It was only a few days ago that Japan launched the latest 3 000 ton-class submarine, inciting war zeal.

The arrogant Japan has gone the length of adopting it as a state policy to possess preemptive attack capability against other countries.

Problem is that the Japanese reactionaries are still claiming "minimum level self-defence" and "authentic deterrence" even after its open shift from "defence" to "preemptive attack".

The nature of the war country thirsting for reinvasion has been brought to light.

Japan had better not profess "exclusive defence".

The international community will never tolerate the Japanese reactionaries' dangerous moves for becoming a military giant to realize its wild ambition for continental aggression at any cost by deceiving the world. -0-

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement  supporting the call of Korea Association for Human Rights Studies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) for the appointment of a Special Rapporteur for human rights in the USA ;

Recently , the so-called  UN Special Rapporteur for 'human rights in the DPRK  ' slandered the state and social system of the DPRK in remarks made at the UN .

 The DPRK has never accepted the mandate of the so -called 'Special Rapporteur ; . There are no human rights issues in the DPRK for such an investigation to be carried out . This in itself is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the DPRK .

One of the accusations against the DPRK made by the so-called ' Special Rapporteur ' was that the DPRK has become 'more isolated ' .   In actual fact the DPRK is not really isolated as it has diplomatic relations with over 120 countries . The DPRK is not isolated but independent , it is independent from domination , subordination and oppression . If the DPRK is cut off from anything is it cut off from imperialism , capitalism , colonialism and neo-colonialism.

 As the answer of the Spokesperson  of  the Korea Association for Human Rights Studies   states  '   The superiority of the people-centered socialism of our own style will not be overshadowed by whoever distorts our reality and vilifies our state, and the anti-DPRK plots pursued by the hostile forces will be demolished by the strength of our single-minded unity.'   . This is indeed very true .

The spokesperson of the  Korea Association for Human Rights Studies calls for the creation of  create a post of "special rapporteur" with a mandate to have oversight of human rights situation in the United States suffering from chronic "human rights complications" caused by racial discrimination, expulsion of immigrants, child maltreatment, police violence, gun-related crime, etc..  We support this just and correct demand.

The biggest violator of human rights on the planet is the United States not the DPRK ! .

A few days ago, Yun Seok-yol, one of the opposition People's Power Party's candidates for the next presidency spoke in praise of Chun Doo-hwan who had seized power by military coup and suppressed Gwangju popular uprising brutally.  

The ruling Democratic Party demanded Yun apologize to the spirit of fallen Gwangju uprisers and people in Jeolla province for insulting them.

Yun wants to be a Public Prosecutor General of "Chun's government". It is intolerable dictatorial idea, the Justice Party reprimanded.

It is so ridiculous that Yun, such a foolish guy lack of common sense is dreaming about the presidency. He must make an apology to south Koreans and withdraw candidacy for the next presidency, the presidential candidate in the PPP censured.

The South Korean authorities plan to stage Ulchi-Taegeuk maneuvers for three days from 27 to 29 of October.

Why on earth are they going to start a joint military drill with the militia to cope with emergency such as wartime and terror at this point of time when the situation in the Korean peninsula is instable and covid-19 is worsening?

The present south Korean authorities have now revealed that peace and reconciliation much touted by them whenever an opportunity presented itself were just a wordplay.

They are acting as if people are exposed to danger saying that the drill is to cope with the threat to come.

It is nothing but open challenge to equitable demand and stand of the north.

Ulchi-Taegeuk military drill is a concentrated expression of the hostile intention toward the fellow countrymen and a military provocation escalating tension on the Korean peninsula on purpose.

The war game deteriorating the situation in the Korean peninsula and breaking the peace can never be tolerated.

Real intention of having capability to assault enemy's bases

 

Japanese Prime Minister revealed his intention to have capability to assault the enemy's bases a few days ago.

Japan ties up a huge amount of funds in development of cutting-edge weapon on the pretext of having capability to assault enemy's bases, which runs counter to the principle that defense capacity is appealed to only when being attacked by the enemy, the press said.

To have capability to assault the enemy's bases is nothing different from declaration to engage in the Far Eastern strategy of the US, the Japan's act escalating tension in the area will meet with strong opposition from the international society, the experts surveyed.

On Saturday, October 23rd, the Staffordshire Branch of the Korean Friendship Association held an informal meeting at a Community Centre, Burslem, Stoke On Trent. The guest of honour was the UK KFA Chairman Doctor Dermot Hudson who had travelled all the way up from London. Doctor Hudson spoke on recent developments in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea and on the need for solidarity with the Korean people in the struggle for peace and reunification. At the meeting, two videos on the Juche Idea were shown to the participants in the meeting as well as various kinds of DPRK literature being available. Taking part in the meeting were local KFA members, members of the Labour Party and the New Communist Party, GMB (Trade Union), UNITE (Trade Union) and the Cuba Solidarity Campaign. The meeting was both informative and jovial.

South Korean puppet rocket fails

So much for the south Korean puppets . They are unable to catch up with the DPRK in the field of satetille launching . The DPRK launched its first satellite in August 1998  and launched satellites in 2009, 2012 and 2016.

  Incidentally , People's Korea had sanctions slapped on it for launching satellites , why hasn't south Korea being sanctioned.

Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Spokesperson for the Korea Association for Human Rights Studies gave the following answer to a question put by the Korean Central News Agency on October 26 with respect to the malicious slander about our human rights situation made by a "special rapporteur" on human rights situation in the DPRK at the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly:

Recently, so-called "special rapporteur" on human rights situation in the DPRK has maliciously slandered our state at the United Nations, reeling off reckless remarks such as "systematic human rights violation", "oppression of freedom of expression," etc.

Never ever have we accepted this "special rapporteur", nor do we concern ourselves about his mandate.

The "special rapporteur", not being content with distorting our reality, has pointed a finger at our "people's livelihood" and viciously picked on the most realistic and appropriate anti-epidemic measures taken by our state for our own specific need in order to cope with the global epidemic.

Our state takes full responsibility for the life security and livelihood of our people, and we have never asked anyone to worry about the living conditions of our people.

The historic significance of the CPV's entry into the Korean front which clearly manifested the militant friendship and great unity between the peoples of the two countries remains unchanged as it is even after the lapse of over 70 years, and it is immortal in the annals of bilateral friendship.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that during the past Fatherland Liberation War, the Chinese party and government made a strategic decision of dispatching the CPV to the Korean front under the banner of resisting America and aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland despite the very difficult situation, rendered disinterested revolutionary assistance and won the great victory in the war with the united forces of the peoples and armies of the two countries and thus defended the security of the two countries and wrote a brilliant page in the history of the DPRK-China friendship with blood and life.

Impudent Japan

 

Some days ago, a member of the organization against Japan's sexual crime expressed that Japan ought to make an apology and assume full responsibility for its war crimes.

He exposed that newly-appointed Japanese Prime Minister offered tributes to Yaskuni Shrine on Oct.17 through his face book and condemned that Japan had no intention to apology for its past crimes.

The Japanese Prime Minister made absurd remarks to evade judgment of the south Korean Supreme Court on indemnity for labor conscription forced by the Japanese Imperialist and comfort woman.

The war crimes committed by Japan including sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army go against the international principle of human rights and law and it has no statute of limitations, he noted.

He demanded the Japanese authorities admit its crimes and should make sincere attitude toward its past crime.

Confrontation or reconciliation, what does it depend on?

 

The north demands that the south Korean authorities have to change its confrontational and habitual attitude toward the north.

It is righteous demand based on correct assessment of the present situation of the Korean peninsula and the deteriorated inter-Korean relations.

As reported, military stability in the region of the Korean peninsula is being aggravated day by day, due to different military drills and arms buildup against the north have been conducted by the US and south Korea regardless of time.

The Korean nation wishes for improvement of the inter-Korean ties and peace and coexistence on the Korean peninsula.

It is important that the south Korean authorities withdraw the unjust double attitude.

The unjust double attitude of the south Korean authorities deteriorates the inter-Korean relations into catastrophe.  

The south Korean authorities are enthused over arms buildup and block "north Korea's deterrence" spouting a string of rubbish "provocation by the north".

Trust building between the north and south and mending the inter-Korea relations cannot be expected without withdrawal of the double attitude of the south Korean authorities.

It is quite natural that the north demand south Korean authorities withdraw the hostile policy against the north and stop arms buildup to establish the trust for mending the inter-Korean ties.

Continued US crime

 

Of late, the south Korean people unleash their wrath on the US forces in south Korea as 2 GIS at the US military base in Pyeongtaek committed an outrage to a south Korean and broke down his car.

The US soldiers assaulted south Korean driver and threw bottle of wine at a car.

The US army in south Korea have committed an outrage on south Koreans in May and June before this.

The US forces in south Korea has committed crimes for over 70 years since it occupied south Korea.

However, the present south Korean authorities have not made thoroughgoing investigation into its crimes and punished, bound by unequal joint commission of the SOFA.

On the contrary, they ask for stationing of the US troops in south Korea offering blood tax screwed out of the south Korean people.

As long as the US and pro-US boot licking elements stay in south Korea, the national sovereignty cannot be defended and misfortune and pain can never be mitigated.

It is very important to drive out foreign forces and liquidate treacherous forces.

Corruption and absurdity being rampant in the south Korean army

 

Ever-increasing scandals within the south Korean army arouse public criticism.

Sexual violence within the military followed one after another this year alone.

Two out of five committed suicide after suffering sexual harassment by their seniors.

Nearly 76 percent murdered themselves to evade the violence inflicted upon them, and its rate is rising year after year.

Moreover, decampments caused by maladjustment to military service are prevalent in the army.

The military is rife with corruption such as bribery overlooking inferior equipment made by a private enterprise.

Meanwhile, pollution in army posts is so high and living conditions including drinking water and meals are so poor that many suffer from ill health.

Residents are under constant threat of expired equipment and worn-out magazine neglected for more than 30 years, which may go off  at any moment.

There is really no end to the list of such disgusting state of the army.

It is not too much to say that the south Korean army is an epitome of corruption and absurdity.

 

U.S. Reckless Meddling in Taiwan Issue Blasted

Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Pak Myong Ho, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, on Oct. 22 made the following press statement:

Recently, the U.S. is building up military tension by inciting independence of Taiwan, which is an inseparable territory of China.

This year alone, the U.S. dispatched all kinds of battleships into the Taiwan Straits on the plea of "freedom of navigation" whenever occasion called. Some time ago, it even mobilized a battleship of its ally only to escalate tension in the Taiwan Straits.

The U.S. announced its plan for arms sale to Taiwan worth 750 million US$ by putting forth the unlawful "Taiwan Relations Act", and it is staging large-scale joint military exercise in the waters near Taiwan. Like this, it is increasing all the more its military threats against China.

It is an open secret that the members of the U.S. special forces and the detachment from U.S. Marine Corps have trained the Taiwanese army while stationing in Taiwan for more than one year.

This is an actual proof that the U.S. is using Taiwan as a tool to put pressure on China and an outpost to overpower China in an emergency though it outwardly maintains "One China" policy.

Taiwan is an integral part of China. The Taiwan issue, from A to Z, belongs to the internal affairs of China.

The U.S. acts constitute a naked interference in the internal affairs of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and cause a grave threat to the international peace and stability.

It is too natural and just demand that the Chinese government has, on several occasions, called for the U.S. to be as good as its word in abiding by the "One China" principle as well as a solemn commitment it made to China, not to have any kind of government-level exchanges with Taiwan, not to send a wrong signal to the separatist forces of Taiwan and to refrain from any action which aggravates the situation of the Taiwan Straits.

We fully support the Chinese government and people in their stand to defend the national sovereignty and territorial integrity and to realize the unification of the motherland without fail.

The situation of Taiwan is, on no account, irrelevant to the situation of the Korean peninsula.

The indiscreet meddling by the U.S. into the issue of Taiwan entails a potential danger of touching off a delicate situation on the Korean peninsula.

It is a well-known fact that the U.S. troops and its military bases in south Korea are in use to put pressure on China and that the huge forces of the U.S. and its satellite states, which are being concentrated near Taiwan, can be committed to a military operation targeting the DPRK at any time.

The hostile forces are already speeding up the deployment of their forces from all directions which are aimed at our country and China while making lame assertion, like a guilty party filing the suit first, that the DPRK and PRC can, in cooperation, cause military tension in Taiwan and on the Korean peninsula. This reality proves that the U.S. is in its bid to stifle our country and China, both socialist countries, in order to hold its supremacy.

The U.S. should bear in mind that its reckless interference in internal affairs, its attempt for division and an open act of double standard would only invite tragic consequences of lifting an ax to drop it on its own foot.

It is in correlation with the situation on the Korean peninsula that we would continue to watch the U.S. very closely in its stance to hold hegemony over the issue of Taiwan. -0-

The test-firing of the new-type SLBM by the Academy of Defence Science of the DPRK on Oct. 19 was part of the normal activities for carrying out the medium- and long-term plan for the development of defence science and it did not pose any threat or damage to the security of the neighboring countries and the region.

This notwithstanding, the U.S. described the DPRK's exercise of its legitimate right to self-defence as a "violation of the resolution" of the UNSC and a "threat" to the regional peace and stability by bringing to the fore the spokespersons for the White House and the Department of State and the Indo-Pacific Command, and is taking very provocative moves such as calling for convening an emergency meeting of the UNSC.

It truly concerns us that the U.S. is showing abnormal reactions to the exercise of the right to self-defence proper and just to a sovereign state.

As already clarified, the DPRK's deterrent does not aim at a specified state or forces but is for preventing the war itself and defending the sovereign rights. And the U.S. and south Korea have been ruled out as our arch-enemies.

When doing the recent test-firing we did not have the U.S. in mind nor aimed at it, but it is the work which had already been planned purely for the defence of the country. So there is no need for the U.S. to worry or trouble itself over the test-firing.

To criticize the DPRK for developing and test-firing the same weapon system as the one the U.S. possesses or is developing is a clear expression of double-standards and it only excites our suspicion about the "authenticity" of its statement that it does not antagonize the DPRK.

If the U.S. does not take issue with the DPRK's regular and legitimate exercise of the sovereign right, no tension will be caused on the Korean peninsula but if the U.S. and its vassal forces persist with opting for a wrong action, it may act as a catalyst for more serious consequences.

We have already expressed strong concern over the fact that the U.S. and the UNSC are tampering with a dangerous "time bomb". -0-

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA )  ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement  on the successful test fire of a new type submarine-launched ballistic missile on Tuesday 19th of October;

On Tuesday 19th of October the DPRK  Academy of Defence Science carried out a successful test fire of a new type of submarine launched ballistic missile (SLBM) . This was the first test of an SLBM by the DPRK for 5 years . The new type SLBM included a lot of advanced technologies and has enhanced the operational capablities of the navy of the Korean People's Army

 Overall it has made a great contribution to further strengthening the self-defensive capablities of the DPRK and carrying out the programme for national defence that was unveiled at the 8th Congress of the Workers Party of Korea . It is a just measure of the DPRK to strengthen its defences against the hostile forces including the United States and south Korea .

South Korea cannot complain about the DPRK's new type SLBM test because it carried out its own SLBM test recently. The United States cannot complain either because it is the biggest possessor of ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons .The DPRK has a right to self-defence which no one should question or challenge.

The test of the new type SLBM is a great victory for the Juche Idea and Songun idea . It is a proud demonstration of the DPRK 's self-reliant military might . Moreover the new SLBM test was an exercise of the DPRK's sovereignty and independence . We support the DPRK's independent right to self-defence and applaud the successful test of the new type SLBM which is another step towards building a great powerful country of Juche !

Academy of Defence Science Succeeds in Test-Launch of New Type SLBM

 

Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) -- The Academy of Defence Science of the DPRK test-fired a new type submarine-launched ballistic missile on Tuesday.

The test-launch was guided by Yu Jin, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sik, vice department director of the Munitions Industry of the Central Committee of the WPK, and leading officials of the Academy.

The Academy said that it presented a report of loyalty to the Party Central Committee with the pride and honor of succeeding in the test-launch of new type SLBM from the same "8.24 Yongung" ship from which the first submarine-launched strategic ballistic missile was successfully launched five years ago to demonstrate the military muscle of the DPRK.

It clarified that the new type SLBM, into which lots of advanced control guidance technologies including flank mobility and gliding skip mobility are introduced, will greatly contribute to putting the defence technology of the country on a high level and to enhancing the underwater operational capability of our navy. -0-

Dark Society Where Virtue And Affection Are Withering Away

Respecting and taking good care of the elderly and holding them up as seniors of the family and society are noble virtue and universal ethics of human society.

Contrary phenomena, however, are widespread in the Japanese society where the aged are subjected to maltreatment, contempt and abuse, far from receiving deserved attention and care of the family and society. They are thus spending the remaining years of their lives in misery, misfortunes and sufferings, prompting the public astonishment.

News are breaking out on shocking crimes, which are too cruel to be mentioned.  Some of them are the following:

“An 83-year-old woman kills her husband by stabbing in the neck in Miyagi prefecture”, “Yokohama district court sentences a 76-year-old woman to 8-year imprisonment for killing her husband by sawing his neck”, “A young man in Nagasaki city kills a grandmother in her nineties with a hammer”, “In Osaka, a daughter tramples on her sick mother’s back and breaks her ribs to death”, “A 95-year-old mother and 71-year-old daughter-in-law commit suicide together in Niigata prefecture” etc.

According to the related data, nearly 6,500 people aged 65 and over committed suicide in 2018 alone.

It is no mere coincidence that the Japanese media reported that it is becoming a household phrase among the aged that “life in retirement is tantamount to a probationary period.”

A dark society is not something abstract.

It is the society bereft of love, virtue and affection toward humans, where human beings are turning bestial, being reduced to the slaves of capital.

The rampant practices of all hues of crimes and decadent immorality and depravity being exercised in Japan are attributable to the anti-popular policy of its government, and these are the inevitable products of a decayed society where extreme hatred of human beings and selfishness are omnipresent.

All these are only magnifying the skepticism about true meaning of “freedom, democracy and respect for human rights” trumpeted so speciously by Japan in the international arena.

The viciousness of the Japanese imperialists was remarkably revealed in their initiation from the exhumation of the founder kings’ mausolea of the successive dynasties including King Tangun, the ancestral father of the Korean nation.

The purpose lied in the accumulation of their wealth with the Korean relics and remains yet more importantly in suppressing and erasing the worship of the Korean people to the father kings.

The Japanese imperialists fixed the Mausoleum of King Tangun as a major target and made a tenacious “investigation” and at the same time perpetrated vicious destruction acts on this mausoleum.

In fear of the resistance of the Korean people to be brought about in case that their atrocious digging of the Mausoleum of King Tangun was disclosed, they laid double and treble tight security network in the vicinity before they turned up the ceiling stone of the main chamber to destroy the coffin and littered even the bones.

The Mausoleum of King Tongmyong, the founder king of Koguryo which was the most powerful dynasty in the Korean history and the Mausoleum of King Wanggon, the founder king of Koryo which was the first united state, were also cruelly destroyed and plundered by the Japanese gangster-like acts.

The terrible atrocity of destruction and plunder acts of brutality performed by the Japanese imperialists on the Korean kings’ mausolea to kill the pride and self-esteem of the Korean nation and to break up its historical tradition is an unethical crime which can never be pardoned.

American Society Rife With Extreme Hate And Racial Discrimination

Still vivid in the memories of people is the incident where a black man named George Floyd in his forties was forced to meet miserable death with his neck being pressed by the knee of a white policeman in Minnesota of the United States at the end of May 2020.

“I can’t breathe.” – these are the last words George Floyd cried before dying, and these words are still resounding as an outcry from the anti-racism protesters and as a synonym of laying bare the true picture of deep-rooted racist system in the U.S.

Yet again much to the public consternation, another fact has recently been disclosed. The officials of the fire department and the white policemen in New York city exchanged cellphone messages when anti-racism demonstrations were going on in all parts of the U.S. in the wake of the murdering of Floyd. In the messages, they despised and mocked the black people.

According to the latest “New York Times”, the messages were about discussing by the high officials of fire department on the option of throwing water at the demonstrators with fire hose, and some mocked the demonstrators, saying “this option will not be effective, ’cause wild animals like water.”

And one white policeman said “I am pleased, ’cause I can legally blast black children”, and he even said that he would not get paid for it.

More alarming is the fact that because the black firefighters protested at it, they had their duties suspended for days, even six months, by the high officials of fire department and didn’t get paid either.

This is just one illustration which reveals the true picture of extreme racial discrimination in the American society where black people are treated as animals.

The practices of deep-rooted racial discrimination are rampant also in the sector of education.

75% of famous universities in the U.S. have now established a system whereby preference is given to the applicants for entrance exam in case one of their parents is a graduate of one of these universities. But, its beneficiaries are practically the children of rich whites.

More to the point as an example, the probability of entering the Harvard University by those applicants who benefit from the said system is six times higher than normal applicants. In case of Yale University, the number of students who matriculated during the fall semester of 2021 owing to this system has reportedly reached as many as 14%.

The number of high school graduates among the American blacks and Latin Americans is far less compared to the whites.

The high officials of the U.S. government have once officially admitted that the elements of discrimination based on the racial origins of students run deep in the education sector.

This is the actual feature of the United States which is decaying by the extreme hate, contempt and racism.

The great idea and the strong tradition write the history of victory.

It is thanks to this banner of DIU that the clear fighting goal and line of our revolution were guaranteed, and that our Republic could push forward steadily along the road of socialism without the slightest vacillation, taking firmly the helm of anti-imperialist independence.

The banner of DIU inspired peoples in numerous colonies, who wandered about directionless, with confidence and courage in the past century. Its banner indeed brought about the advent of the era of jubilation and excitement when the flames of anti-imperialism and national independence flared up worldwide, and the earth and sky shook with the hurrahs of independence.

Now the world is feeling much more keenly the validity of the socialist cause of Juche in the imposing appearance of our Republic which is leading the cause of independence against imperialism and the world socialist movement, holding in high esteem at the forefront of our revolution Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) – who has gained the absolute international prestige and boundless admiration from the mankind as the great master of independent politics and the defender of world peace.

Our Republic should invariably advance straight ahead along the road of independence, regardless of changes in the situation and relations around us, and play a role of pioneer in the struggle for achieving global independence as a defender of independence and justice – this is the firm faith and the noble intention of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Good inheritance of the great tradition and proud history is the main source which begets an invincible state and people.

There will be only victories and glories ahead of our Republic and people who are dynamically advancing under the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un by maintaining the tradition of “DIU” and holding fast to the baton of the revolutionary cause of Juche even though the world may change a hundred times and more, and the raging winds of trial may blow.

American Children – Victims of Gun-Shooting

“Gun-related crime”, one of the synonyms for the United States, is getting more serious with each passing day and the damage to children caused by it is also ever-increasing.

According to ABC’s report, at around 9 pm, on October 2, a suspicious man driving a car in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the U.S., fired a gun at a family in another car, killing an 11-year-old girl on the spot and wounding her five-year-old sister.

This shooting incident is the 148th murder case occurred in Milwaukee this year, and at least 22 young people under the age of 18 fell victims to gun shooting this year.

On October 6, an incident happened in a Senior High School classroom in Dallas, Texas, in the U.S. where an 18-year-old student sprayed bullets to have wounded 4 students in the tussle.

According to the data, it is said that 1,156 young people aged under 17 were shot dead and 3,182 were wounded in the U.S. until now this year.

A society where children can never live in peace and comfort even for a single day due to the gun-related crimes is none other than the U.S. society bragging about civilization.
