Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of KFA UK made a report of the work of KFA UK during the past year 2025 . He pointed out that  “Without exaggeration or self-praise we can say that notwithstanding certain challenges and difficulties , that 2025 was a good year for KFA UK and a year of growth . I thank all KFA UK officials ,activists and members for their support and assistance . We could not have achieved good results without you.

2025 saw our first meeting in Scotland since 2019 . We also participated in two book fairs . I was able to speak at a packed meeting on the sideline of the Merseyside Marxist Bookfair  We held several real life meetings in London as well as many online events such as many meetings on different DPRK anniversaries as well the monthly reading sessions and the monthly film nights .We picketed the US embassy in June to mark the Month of Solidarity with the Korean people . We also picketed the hated British Brainwashing Corporation in December”

Dr Hudson also cited examples of challenge to KFA UK  work in the form of censorship and repression on social media as well an apparent attempt by a local authority to ban KFA UK in one locality .

Dr Hudson said that KFA UK will increase its activity in 2026

Alan Bolon , KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England made a report in which he said that he carried out his role despite difficult conditions .  He pointed out that “ People’s Korea Today” , the magazine of KFA UK has been produced every single month and soon the 62nd issue will be produced. He also mentioned that archive.org have blocked KFA UK from uploading additional material which is another attack on KFA UK ! . He noted that the KFA UK West of England page has increased the numbers of followers .

Reports from KFA UK Scotland , KFA UK Staffordshire and KFA UK Essex were read out . The report from KFA UK Essex was particularly inspiring ; our KFA UK representative there is flying the DPRK flag from his home and engaging in discussions with locals about supporting the DPRK .

Dr Hudson gave a summary report of KFA UK ‘s finances ; KFA UK’s financial position has improved despite the imposition of bank charges so we are in a good position to increase campaigning work .
