The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued a statement in support of the statement issued by the  Consultative Council for National Reconciliation (CCNR) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) on the 18th of May:
The DPRK CCNR noted that it is the 37th anniversary of the Kwangju uprising against the fascist
puppet regime of Chon Du Hwan. The Kwangu uprising undouttedly was a popular armed uprising and a resistance for democracy against the U.S. and fascism in which the people stood against tyrannical forces in demand of independence and democracy of society and Korea's reunification against the colonial military fascist dictatorship by the U.S. and its puppets.
Nowadays the south Korean people have got rid of the Park Geun Hye regime which was the terrible legacy of south Korean fascism. The Park regime had tried to drag south Korea back to the
era of darkness and fascism. However the struggle for the final liquidation of the pro-US conservative forces needs to be carried forward.
As the CCNR correctly observes " Unless the U.S. colonial domination and rule are put to an end, the south Koreans' misfortune and pain will further and the desire wished by the Kwangju resistance fighters can never come true"
We support the call of the CCNR for the south Korean people to wage a sacred nationwide war against to drive the US out of south Korean and achieve independence, democracy and reunification.
