On September 7, a German website posted an article that ineffective gun control in the U.S. is not only inciting shooting crime at home but also has major impact on neighboring countries.

The article said that 250,000 guns are brought into Mexico by smugglers every year and that Canada is also faced with the similar situation. To underpin the allegation, the article quoted reports by several mass media that 85% of pistols in Canada are made in the U.S.

The article continued that Mexican government filed a suit to claim 10 billion USD in Massachusetts in order to bring the manufacturers of guns being used in Mexico to account. However, they have little possibility of winning because of the nonexistence of law in the U.S. that can impose penalty on gun-manufacturing enterprises.

Fire spreads if it is not put out.

The reality shows that the extensively spread gun culture and incurable tumor of the U.S. society is now unstoppably metastasizing to neighboring countries.

According to the data, the number of gun-related crimes in the U.S. was as many as 600 in 2020, then it jumped to more than 700 in 2021, the gun-related death toll increased from 40,000 to 45,000 and is expected to be increased drastically in this year.

The U.S. adopted the gun control amendment in late June, being forced by the strong protest and demand from the citizens. However, the gun-related crimes took place one after another in various states of the U.S. including Indiana, Oregon, Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Virginia and South Carolina.

This is why the Americans are blaming the incompetence of the government, lamenting that the gun-related crime is the one peculiar to the U.S society.

Where lies the reason that the gun-related crime is being a never-ending part of daily life in the U.S., which is so loudly rattling on the “world civilization”.

It lies in the anti-popular policy of the U.S. administration, which only prefers the pecuniary interests of a handful of privileged circle and does not give damn about human life, taking no account of demand and interest of the working masses.

The U.S. must first eradicate gun-related crimes threatening the international society before mouthing about “human rights issue” of other countries.
