The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification in Korea (BSCPRKP issued a joint statement supporting the Policy speech made to the 7th session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly made by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN on the 8th of September ;
In his Policy Speech to the 7th session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) respected Marshal KIM JONG made particular and detailed reference to the fact that the SPA had adopted the Law on the state policy on the nuclear force. This law legally enshrines the DPRK's status as a nuclear power .It also contains guidelines for the DPRK 's use of nuclear weapons . Most notable is that it does not preclude the pre-emptive use or a first strike . This is a qualitative difference and has caused much comment .Marshal KIM JONG UN also pointed out that 'the position of our state as a nuclear nation has become irreversible." and that "There will never be such a thing as our abandonment of the nuclear weapons or denuclearization first, nor will there be any negotiations to this end or bargaining chip in these processes.'
Respected Marshal KIM JONG made a very deep and profound analysis of the situation around the DPRK and the threat of US imperialism to the DPRK . He said that "As long as there exist nuclear weapons and remains imperialism on the earth, and as long as the United States and its vassal forces refuse to stop their anti-DPRK manoeuvrings, our journey of building up the nuclear forces will not come to an end." . This is indeed true and very correct . The aggressive and reactionary nature of US imperialism and other imperalisms can never change , no matter what . Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN is an astute and intelligent leader who is not fooled the imperialists rhetoric and soft soap about peace The talk of peace by the US is just deception ..
The US imperialists want to force the DPRK into unilateral disarmament so they can overthrow the socialist system . The US imperialists and world imperialists are imposing sanction after sanction against the DPRK but repsected Marshal KIM JONG UN defiantly said "Let them impose sanctions for 100, nay 1 000 days or even ten or 100 years.".
Respected Marshal KIM JONG UN's speech is a militant declaration that the DPRK will not compromise with the imperialists .The DPRK has rejected all attempts to disarm it and push it down a certain path. Four years ago some people were saying that the DPRK would unilaterally disarm itself and even open a McDonalds in Pyongyang as well as joining the IMF of the imperialists . None of this has happened and now the DPRK is declaring the irreversiblity of its nuclear weapons programme !
In the rest of his speech respected Marshal KIM JONG UN sets forward different tasks for building socialism and taking care of people's lives . He clarifies the role and nature of officials as servants of the people , pointing out that "The word official is not something related to any honour or authority, and the worth of existence of officials is unthinkable separated from their natural mission of serving the people... If officials enjoy a comfortable and luxurious life, it is not socialism at all and it brings greater trouble to the people." This shows that socialism in People's Korea is true socialism , people-centred socialism .
We applaud the Policy Speech of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN . It gives absolutely correct guidelines for building socialism whilst standing in confrontation with US imperialism and world imperialism .Bravo to People's Korea for declaring itself a permanent nuclear weapons state . The DPRK has rejected all attempts to disarm it and push it down a certain path .It is good to see a country standing up for itself for and not taking any nonsense from the US imperialists .
We also support the enactment of the DPRK Law of on the state policy on the nuclear force.
