KCNA Commentary Assails U.S. and S. Korean Puppet Force's Foolish Scenario for Preemptive Strike

yongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- Shocked by the DPRK's nuclear warhead explosion test, the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime are recklessly dreaming of mounting a preemptive attack on the DPRK.
    After crying out for imposing high-profile sanctions upon the DPRK to cut its "windpipe", the U.S. let two B-1B nuclear strategic bombers fly over south Korea on Sept. 13 as part of its preparations for making a preemptive strike at the DPRK.
    The Park Geun Hye regime, the war servant of the U.S., is running wild like rabid dogs. It made no scruple of blustering that they would reduce to ashes the north's leadership and make Pyongyang disappear on the map, disclosing even what they call "triad strike system" and "large-scale retaliatory operation plan."
    Due to the worst provocations of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime watching for a chance of carrying out the above-said scenario, the touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean peninsula.
    All the fellow countrymen and the world are closely following the development on the peninsula and condemning those responsible for the instability.
    The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces can never evade the responsibility for the tension on the peninsula.
    It is they who compelled the DPRK to double efforts to finally round off its nuclear force at so high cost.
    A series of measures taken by the DPRK in succession to bolster up its nuclear force were unavoidable and justifiable options made by the DPRK in order to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and the vital rights of the nation from the unprecedented political and economic pressure and military threats by the U.S. and its vassal forces.
    The DPRK conducted the recent nuclear warhead explosion test, the highest phase of mounting nuclear warheads on ballistic rockets, because the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime openly aiming at the "collapse of social system" and "eradication of leadership" have reached an intolerable phase.
    The above-said hostile forces would be well advised to properly approach their rival whose position has dramatically changed.
    At present, the DPRK has in place everything it desires and has gone through even the final process for rounding off the state nuclear force.
    The DPRK is fully ready to mercilessly strike and wipe out to the last man anytime the outrageous provocateurs who have been hell-bent on ratcheting up sanctions against the DPRK, stifling and invading it for the last several decades.
    The time is drawing near when our service personnel and civilians will punish the enemies.
    If the enemies show even a slight sign of operations to impair the dignity and prestige of our state, the Korean People's Army will mount a decisive and strong preemptive nuclear attack on them.
    It is the DPRK which will seize the golden chance of mercilessly striking the hostile forces and reunifying the country.
