The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued the following joint statement concerning the DPRK's successful nuclear test on the 9th of September , the national holiday of the DPRK,
   This was the 5th nuclear test of the  DPRK , a proud achievement . The Nuclear Weapons Institute of the DPRK stated that " Scientists and technicians of the DPRK carried out a nuclear explosion test for the judgment of the power of a nuclear warhead newly studied and manufactured by them at the northern nuclear test ground under the plan of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) for building strategic nuclear force.
    The Central Committee of the WPK sent warm congratulations to nuclear scientists and technicians of the northern nuclear test ground on the successful nuclear warhead explosion test.
    The nuclear test finally examined and confirmed the structure and specific features of movement of nuclear warhead that has been standardized to be able to be mounted on strategic ballistic rockets of the Hwasong artillery units of the Strategic Force of the Korean People's Army as well as its performance and power.
    It was confirmed through the results of analysis of the test that the measured values including explosive power and the nuclear material usage coefficient conformed with the calculated values and that there was no radioactive materials leakage during the test and, therefore, no adverse impact on the ecological environment of the surroundings."
Our organisations , the ASSPUK, JISGE , UK KFA and the UK Preparatory Committee  applaud the DPRK's successful nuclear warhead test. Moreover we believe it to be a fully justified measure to defend the sovereignty of the DPRK and to defend its people against the constant and persistent nuclear threat of the US imperialists .The US imperialists have many times threatened the DPRK with nuclear annihilation and keep over 1,000 nuclear weapons in south Korea.
  The DPRK's nuclear test is the independent and sovereign right of the DPRK that no-one should interfere in.
      The DPRK's nuclear test is a great victory for idea of self-reliance and a victory for the line of dual development of the nuclear force and economy. It is also an act of powerful defiance of US imperialism , world imperialism and big power chauvinism showing that the DPRK is the only country in the world that can assert its independence  and do and say what it likes .
    Moreover the nuclear test is a powerful inspiration to the anti-US, anti-imperialist struggle for independence and to the world proletariat.
