A UK KFA delegation led by chairman of UK KFA and Official Delegate Dr
Dermot Hudson attended the 18th KFA International Meeting held the
premises of the DPRK Embassy in Spain located in a suburb of Madrid ,
Spain.
The meeting was attended by delegates from UK , Ireland , France,
Spain, Spain-Basque Country , Denmark (representing all of Scandinavia )
Italy , Greece and Romania . It was the first time Greece was
represented at a KFA International meeting and Romania was represented
again after a break of several years.
The meeting began with the playing of the hymn of the KFA the 'Song of
National Defence' . Comrade So , the charge d affairs of the DPRK in
Spain (the DPRK ambassador to Spain having been expelled by the Spanish
reactionaries at the instigation of the US imperialists, 'a present to
Trump ' as Alejandro Cao De Benos , KFA President put it ) welcoming the
participants of the meeting to the DPRK embassy and wished it a great
success.
Alejandro Cao De Benos spoke , first of all , about the anniversary of
the election of the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL as Supreme
commander of the Korean People's Army . Alejandro spoke movingly of the
deep love shown by comrade KIM JONG IL to the soldiers of the KPA and
the Korean people . Secondly, Alejandro said that the June 12th summit
between the DPRK and the US was a great victory for the DPRK . Moreover
thanks to the efforts of the respected Marshal, comrade KIM JONG UN ,
three inter- Korean summits were held . . Alejandro said that a project to
create a virtual DPRK is under way. Comrade Alejandro said a new KFA
branch had been established in Zimbabwe which was a great victory for
KFA .
Speeches were made by myself, KFA Scandinavia , KFA Italy , KFA
Romania, KFA Spain and KFA Greece.
In my speech I said that "
The great leader comrade KIM JONG IL did not bend to the US imperialists
pressure and diktat but instead pushed ahead Songun revolutionary
leadership and developed the DPRK’s own nuclear deterrent in defiance of
US led imperialism. The DPRK carried out is first nuclear test in
October 2006 and second nuclear test in May 2009.The nuclear thunder of
Juche terrified the imperialists.
During the past few decades many countries fell victim to wars started
by the US imperialists and even lost their sovereignty completely, we
can mention Iraq, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia and Libya. However thanks to
the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL, the ever-victorious iron-willed
brilliant commander, and the Songun idea and the Juche idea, Korea was
able to maintain its sovereignty and preserve peace. Korean people can
wake up in the mornings and see a clear sky without the planes of
imperialism flying and they can walk down the street and not pass a
single foreign occupying soldier. This is the great legacy bequeathed by
the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL and is carried forward by his
successor dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN. It is our duty also to
defend this legacy like the apple of our eye."
Jean Claude Martini of KFA Italy denounced some two-faced 'critics ' of
the DPRK who had earlier denounced the DPRK for developing a nuclear
deterrent but then said that the DPRK was capitulating under the
pressure of sanctions and blockade.
Comrade Perkilis Keralis of KFA Greece said
"Love for the family, for their own flesh and blood." That's just love
for the Fatherland, said the great Kim Jong Il. This is the "recipe"
in fact ,comrades of the beloved homeland of the workers.
This love inspired the wise leader in days of darkness that the
people's footsteps seemed to cling to the mud and the threat of
imperialism against our red homeland became increasing aggressive and
severe"
Written speeches were sent in by Switzerland , KFAUSA , KFA Portugal ,
KFA Brazil and also KFA Galicia (Spain) and KFA Catalonia(Spain).I read
out the Brazilian speech which emphasised the need for Brazil to retain
diplomatic relations with the DPRK which are under threat from the
fascist Bolsnario regime in Brazil. The written contribution of KFAUSA
was particularly inspiring as they operate under extremely difficult
conditions but are the largest KFA national branch.
New KFA badges were awarded to KFA officials and activists.
After the meeting had closed an excellent reception was held by the DPRK
embassy ,
On the Sunday many of the delegates enjoyed a sightseeing tour of the
centre of Madrid organised by the KFA branch in Madrid.
