ASSPUK, JISGE , UK KFA and BSCPRKP support August 15 Appeal of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK) , the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE), the UK Korean Friendship Association (UK KFA ) ,and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued the following joint statement in support of the appeal of the  Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea published to mark the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation;
  The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea(AINDF), the pro-reunification vanguard organisation of the south Korean people  has issued an appeal on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation calling for the full implementation of the April 27th Panmunjom Declaration noting that is a 100 days since the Panmunjom Declaration was made public .
   The Appeal states that "  The situation demands that the unwarranted moves of the U.S. resorting to old hostile policy toward the north and the sanctions and pressure on it indifferent to the desire of the Korean nation and those moves of the authorities kowtowing to the U.S. be rejected and that the Korean people courageously turn out in the struggle to preserve and implement the Panmunjom declaration with responsibility."
  Clearly , US interference and intervention in south Korea must be firmly rejected  and the Korean people should be the masters of their fate .The Korean people should fully implement the Panmunjom Declaration which is based on independence and reflects the aspirations of the Korean people north and south .
 The appeal calls a declaration of ending the Korean War and building a durable peace. Significantly the appeal rightly calls for a rejection of the so-called "denuclearisation first " concept and also denounces the US for trying to force the DPRK into making unilateral concessions .
  The appeal calls for an all people struggle to bring about reunification and true liberation .
 Our organisations strongly support the Appeal of the  AINDF  and believe that it should have wide publicity. Indeed all labour movement and peace organisations in the UK should publicize this appeal and give it support.
