Activities of the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG.
In
just under 14 days , on the 15th of April it will be the
104th birth anniversary of the great leader comrade KIM IL
SUNG. This is an event celebrated by not only the Korean people but
by Juche Idea and Songun idea followers throughout the world and is
hailed as the Day of the Sun by the Korean people and world
progressives. It is the core purpose of this meeting to celebrate the
life of the great leader President KIM IL SUNG.
As dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN wrote in his treatise,
The Great Kim Il Sung Is the Eternal Leader of Our
Party and Our People
published on the 20th of April 2012 to mark the 100th
anniversary of the birth of President KIM IL SUNG;Kim
Il Sung was the most outstanding leader of the 20th century and a
peerlessly great man.
The
20th century was an era of revolutionary changes in the struggle of
the masses of the people for their independence, changes
unprecedented in human history, and an era of fierce struggle between
the progressives and reactionaries, between socialism and
imperialism. In this century full of changes, there were many
renowned politicians and personages, who left traces in the shaping
of the masses’ destiny and in the political history of the world,
but none of them was a preeminent leader, a peerless patriot and a
great revolutionary as our leader was, who, from his teens to
eighties, adorned the century as a century of victory of the cause of
anti-imperialist independence, the cause of socialism, by dint of
unique ideology and leadership and ennobling virtue while enjoying
the absolute support and trust of the people. The 20th century was,
both in name and in reality, Kim Il Sung’s century resplendent with
his imperishable exploits and the personalities of the great man.
Kim
Il Sung was the most outstanding leader and an extraordinary veteran
statesman, who left imperishable exploits for his country and people
and for the times and revolution by means of profound ideas and
theories, uncommon leadership ability and gigantic revolutionary
practice
Comrade
KIM IL SUNG is the father of the Korean nation, the builder of
socialist Korea. During a life spanning more than 80 years he created
a new history carving out the destiny of the nation and performed
immortal exploits which will go down in the annals of the era of
independence. Under his superb leadership, the Korean people
brightened the 20th century with victory and glory. Comrade KIM ILSUNG led two severe revolutionary wars to victory becoming known as
the ever victorious iron willed brilliant commander and gifted
military strategist. He led two complex social revolutions and built
an independent socialist country with an advanced socialist system
centred upon the popular masses which is the cradle of life for the
Korean people.
The great leader President KIM IL SUNG was not born in a mansion or
a palace but in a simple straw thatched house in Mangyondae , though
he was a statesman of worldwide fame
President
KIM IL SUNG was a great thinker and theoretician, who was the author
10,800 different works over a period of 7 decades, on annual average
he wrote 170 works or 1 work every 2 and half days. About 24 million
copies of his works have been published in 60 different languages in
a total of 110 countries.
The
creation of the Juche idea is the greatest feat of the great leader
comrade KIM IL SUNG. The Juche idea authored by him and developed by
the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL is the guiding idea of our times
showing the way to liberate humanity. President KIM IL SUNG defined
the Juche Idea in a nutshell as being “The basis of the
Juche Idea is that man is the master of all things and the decisive
factor in everything” The
Juche idea proves that man is indeed the master and
decides everything. The Juche idea is studied throughout the world
and gains new adherents every day.
The
great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG was the pioneer of the Songun idea.
At an early stage of the Korean revolution he stressed the importance
of giving priority to arms thereby creating the Songun idea .The
Juche idea and Songun ideas are the correct guiding revolutionary
ideas of our era showing the way forward for humanity.
The
great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG was the ever victorious iron-willed
brilliant commander and gifted military strategist. He led the Korean
people to defeat the million strong Kwantung army of Japanese
imperialism and later the US imperialists, the south Korean puppets
and 15 satellite states.
The
great leader comradek KIM IL SUNG built a most advantageous and
people-centred socialist system of Korean style. He ensured that both
Rightist and leftist deviations were avoiding in the construction of
socialism . Moreover the pressure of big power chauvinism was
rebuffed. New and unique methods and theories such as the Taean
system and the Chongsan Ri method were created. President KIM IL SUNG
was with the people always guiding the construction of socialism
.During the course of leading the revolution and construction in
Korea he gave on the spot guidance to 20,600 different units
,spending a total of 8,650 days(that is the equivalent of well over
20 years) and travelled a distance of 578.000 kilometres!. Believing
that the “people are my god “ who met people from all walks of
life including workers and farmers.
Under
the leadership of President KIM IL SUNG the Korean people carried out
socialist industrialisation at an amazing rate , the speed of
Chollima as it is known in the DPRK (Chollima being a legendary
winged horse that could cover a 1000 kilometres in one day ). During
the late 1950s industrial output value increased at 36/6% per year
and throughout the period of industrialisation from 1957 to 1970
industrial output the rate of increase was 19.1 % per year ! People
in the DPRK were provided with free heath care, free education and
full employment . In 1974 taxation was abolished in the
DPRK.Socialist Korea of Juche , is the most durable legacy that
President KIM IL SUNG bequeathed to posterity.
The
great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG guided the world revolution. He
opposed both modern revisionism and Left opportunism and strove for
the unity of the international communist movement and socialist
countries. Comrade KIM IL SUNG upheld the anti-US, anti imperialist
struggle when some others gave up saying that “It is wrong
to try to avoid the struggle against imperialism under the pretext
that independence and revolution are important, but that peace is
still more precious” This
smashed the sophistries of those who give up the anti-imperialist
prattling about peaceful co-existence.
When others threw aside the banner of socialism following the
frustation of socialism in the USSR, President KIM IL SUNG held the
red flag even higher maintaining anti-imperialist and socialist
principles in the most difficult conditions.
The
great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG fought for independent reunification
up to the last moments of his life.He also put forward correct
policies for the south Korean revolution and was the benevolent
father to the south Korean revolutionaries He laid down basic
principles for Korea's reunification and fought to put them into
practice. He struggled for reunification right up to the last minute
of his life.

gifted ideologist and theoretician, the outstanding leader of
the international communist movement and world, an gifted military
strategist, an exemplar of leadership and a benevolent father of the
people, Today the Juche revolutionary cause and Songun revolutionary
cause is carried forward by the respected Marshal KIM JONG UN,
supreme leader of the WPK and DPRK and its revolutionary armed
forces. Marshal KIM JONG UN is the great successor to the cause of
the great leader comrade KIM IL SUNG and he is sure to ensure that
there is no deviation from the proud Juche path travelled by the DPRK
