The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the ward of the title of Generalissimo to the great leader President KIM IL SUNG;
  On the 13th of April it was the 24th anniversary of the award of the title of Generalissimo to the great leader President KIM IL SUNG which was a manifestation  of the deep respect of the Korean people.
  The award of the title of Generalissimo to the great leader President KIM IL SUNG  was a reflection of the immortal exploits he performed for  the historic cause of Korea's liberation, and also leading the Fatherland Liberation War to victory and developing People's  Korea   They are paying high respect to the President who brought the rebirth to the Korean nation and provided its freedom and independence  President KIM IL SUNG  smashed all moves of the U.S. imperialists to ignite a war against the DPRK and defended peace on the Korean peninsula during socialist construction.
    The DPRK has developed into an invincible fortress of socialism and Songun thanks to the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu.The cause of the great leader
generalissimo KIM IL SUNG is today carried forward by dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN.
