Human Rights Abuses in U.S. and West Disclosed

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK Association for Human Rights Studies on Monday released a report on human rights abuses in the U.S. and the West to disclose the countries where genuine human freedom and rights are wantonly violated.
There are increased efforts of nations to ensure genuine human rights in all fabrics of social life worldwide.
But the U.S. releases "country reports on human rights" every year groundlessly criticizing many countries of the world over their human rights records while styling itself "a human rights judge."
The U.S. and its followers, pretending to be "human rights champions", are openly putting political pressures and interfering in the internal affairs of selected countries under the pretext of "guarantee of human rights".
A typical example is the despicable "human rights" racket targeting the DPRK.
Through the anti-DPRK human rights racket the U.S. and its followers foolishly seek to tarnish the dignified image of the DPRK and furthermore, undermine the ideology and bring down social system chosen by its people.
The U.S. should be punished before any other countries for being the world's worst human rights abuser.
The report roundly exposes the serious human rights abuses baffling human imagination in the West, the U.S. in particular.
The report cited detailed facts to analyze and comment on the criminality and absurdity of human rights abuses in the U.S. and the West targeting specified groups in all fabrics of social life including politics, economy, ideology and culture, on the basis of international law and norms on human rights.
It also proves that those human rights abuses are an inevitable product of reactionary human rights system and unpopular human rights policy of the U.S. and the West, not just an accidental act of individuals and organizations.
The six-chapter report was worked out in collaboration with several institutions, social bodies and organizations, academic organizations and human rights experts in various fields in the country.
Chapter 1 deals with political freedom and rights. It analyzes on the basis of detailed facts to what discrimination and restrictions people are subject in thinking, religion, speech, media, assembly, demonstration and election in the U.S. and the West painting themselves as "a model of freedom and democracy."
Chapter 2 refers to cruel torture, violence, terrorism, massacre, flesh traffic, abduction, illegal arrest and detention, etc. in the fields related to civil rights.
Chapters 3 and 4 prove that human rights are also mercilessly violated in the fields related to socio-economic rights and socio-cultural rights due to starvation, hunger, unemployment and discrimination and healthcare for privileged class, education swayed over by money and power and corrupt lifestyle.
Chapter 5 says that wanton violation of rights of specified groups finds its manifestation in maltreatment of children, violence against women, discrimination against the disabled and minorities, maltreatment of refugees and xenophobia.
Chapter 6 proves that racism has become legal and part of policy in the West, in the U.S. in particular, and as a result racist acts and apartheid have been barbarously enforced.
As mentioned in the report, human rights abuses prevalent in the U.S. and the Western countries are horrible and shuddering and they are a product of inhuman and reactionary view and stand towards human rights and unpopular social system.
The report will become an indictment exposing the hypocritical nature of the U.S. and the West which are loudmouthed about "protection and promotion of human rights" while advertising "democracy", "law-abiding" and "universality of human rights" and also bringing the world's worst human rights abusers to the human rights tribunal. -0-
