CPRK Secretariat Blasts S. Korean Regime's Dream of "Unification under Liberal Democracy"

 Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) in information bulletin No. 1081 Friday slammed the south Korean puppet forces for getting zealous in escalating confrontation of the social systems under the signboard of "getting ready for unification".
    The bulletin said:
    At a recent strings of meetings such as the third meeting of the "Committee for Preparations for Unification", a policy meeting and seminar, the puppet forces cried out for working out a draft "charter for unification", pushing forward the construction of "world peace park" in the Demilitarized Zone, reenergizing public diplomacy for unification and setting forth a proposal for financial integration between the south and the north.
    The puppet group is also letting loose a whole string of bullshits that unification is a "magic remedy for settling the issue on the Korean Peninsula," "blessing by nations in the Northeast Asian region" and "great opportunity for humanity."
    Even the south Korean chief executive has joined in its trumpeting. Openly calling for "German-style unification," she jabbered that huge burden will be shouldered by the south unless preparations are made for unification, "issue of human rights in the north" should be solved for the future of "unified Korea" and that if persistent efforts are made for the change of the north, a new chapter will be opened for the era of unification.
    She even talked about unified currency and "constitution for unification."
    Branding this as a serious provocation against the DPRK and a wanton challenge to the desire of the nation for peaceful reunification, the bulletin continued:
    The Korean peninsula is not Germany and the unification desired by the Korean nation is not "German-style unification" in which one side is swallowed up by the other. What the nation wants is the reunification whereby Koreans get reconciled and promote co-existence and co-prosperity.
    "Unification of the social systems" pursued by the puppet forces will only cause mistrust, confrontation and war between fellow countrymen.
    Such unification will only bring huge misfortune and disaster.
    "Unification under liberal democracy" is a daydream that can never come true. -0-
