With the approach of the ８０th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, all our people deeply recollect the absolute value and historic weight of the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu in the history of development of our state.
The revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu are the everlasting lifeline which makes our people win only miraculous victories in all fields of building a powerful country.
It was an enormous challenge to the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners to fight against the Japanese imperialists armed to the teeth in the harshest circumstances with neither state-backing home front nor assistance of a regular army. However, they indomitably fought in the dauntless offensive spirit, fighting spirit of Mt Paektu under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung to achieve the cause of Korea’s liberation. During the historic course, the victorious traditions, the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu were created.
The period from Korea’s liberation to now is the sacred course in which the strategic significance of the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu was remarkably embossed. Our Party fully applied the experiences in the building of the Party, state, working people’s organizations, armed forces, culture, etc. to the whole of the revolution and construction so that it could perform historic miracles of doing all things which no others could ever venture in all the sectors of building a powerful country under the worst conditions in which others might have collapsed a hundred times.
After the liberation of the country the historic cause of state building was achieved in a short period of time. And after the Fatherland Liberation War, the great heyday of the era of the Workers’ Party of Korea was opened amid the dynamic speed campaign.
Our idea and our social system have been firmly defended in the fierce struggle to defend socialism unprecedented in the history. All these achievements are unthinkable apart from the wise guidance of our Party which has strongly promoted the great cause of building a powerful country, holding fast to the traditions of Mt Paektu as encyclopedia and fully applying them to the practice.
The past １０-odd years are the stirring period witnessing the epochal changes and great victories which are incredible and startled the world.
During the period our country has fully demonstrated its might as the world’s only ideological power with the single-minded unity which other countries can neither have nor imitate and as a world military power with self-reliant defence capability that steadily develops without limitation and makes a leap forward.
The reality of our country changing day and night proves the boundless power of the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu. Thanks to the victorious traditions of anti-Japanese struggle, the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu, the DPRK displays all over the world its absolute dignity and undying fame recording great victories despite mountainous difficulties in the history of development.
The revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu are the source of inexhaustible strength that ensures the eternal prosperity of our country.
The revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu contain everything which can bring about great changes in all spheres of building a powerful country including the great ideas and spirits, achievements and experiences and working methods and styles firmly guaranteeing the victorious advance of revolution.
That’s why the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu constitute the source of ideological and spiritual strength infusing eternal life and vitality into the country’s prosperity and development and have limitless power in building up the best paradise on earth where all the people’s dreams and ideals have been translated into reality.
It is the absolute value of the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu that they are the bloodline linking our country’s eye-opening changes of today to an ever-rosier future.
In our country, today, the bereaved children of revolutionary martyrs and members of the Children’s Union are growing up sound and strong into pillars who will play a pivotal role in implementing the cause of building a powerful country and masters who will shoulder the future of the socialist powerful country.
Our country’s eternal future is ensured by the rising generations who carry forward the soul of Mt Paektu and always animate and invigorate the construction of a powerful country.
Thanks to the large contingent of successors to the spirit and soul cherished by the first generation of revolution, the future of the powerful DPRK is endlessly bright and rosy.
For the past １０-odd years, our country has made leaps and bounds racing against time and achieved multistage transformations and renovations in every domain of the construction of a powerful country.
This is a precious fruit of the outstanding ideas and leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who adheres to the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu as the lifeline of Juche Korea.
Fully understanding the importance of education in revolutionary traditions in carrying out the cause of building a powerful country, the respected General Secretary indicated the immortal guidelines for education in revolutionary traditions and put it forward as the primary task in the Party ideological work and the strategic task of our revolution.
Better still, he turned Samjiyon City into a hub for practical experience of education in revolutionary traditions.
He saw to it that the Korean Revolution Museum was built into an eternal treasure integrating the sacred revolutionary history and undying revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and raised a strong wind of ideological work through education bases and education through study tours to revolutionary battle sites and other revolutionary sites.
His wise leadership was the main source that enabled all the people to usher in a great heyday of building up national power while overcoming all sorts of difficulties in the spirit of Mt Paektu.
In particular, the horseback march in Mt Paektu made by the respected General Secretary served as a turning point in further developing the revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu into an all-people ideological feeling and in accelerating the cause of building a powerful country in the indomitable fighting spirit based on the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu.
Consequently, our people and the rising generations have grown to fully equip themselves with the revolutionary spirit of Mt Paektu, a new era of the overall state rejuvenation has been brought to this land and our people are advancing toward the best and the strongest country in the world in higher spirits.
The revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu are the most powerful weapon of Juche Korea, incomparable to any physical strength.
Only victory and glory are in store for our people who are carrying on the march which started on Mt Paektu, holding fast to the revolutionary traditions of Mt Paektu as a powerful sword for eternal prosperity of the state, following the respected General Secretary.
