ASSPUK, BGSJI , KFA UK and BSCPRKP call for the dissolution of the UN Command in Korea !

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK (ASSPUK),the British Group for the Study of the  Juche Idea  (BGSJI), the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK( KFA UK) and British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification (BSCPRKP)  today issued a joint statement calling for the dissolution of the so-called " UN Command " in south Korea ;

A press release of the  Institute for Disarmament and Peace (IDP) of the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Monday 13th of November highlighted the issue of the so-called " UN Command " in south Korea . This has come to the fore because on the 14th of November there will be a meeting between the " UN Command "(UNC) and the south Korean puppets as well the satellite countries that are so-called member states of the UNC .

The press release of the IDP of the DPRK Foreign Ministry correctly denounces the illegality of the UNC in south Korea which was created by tricks played by the US imperialists and has no actual relationship with the United Nations (UN) or UN Security Council (UNSC) . The UNC in south Korea is really a US command . The press release of the DPRK FM IDP points out rightly that the UNC Korea is essentially a US tool of confrontation with  People's Korea , a mechanism for aggression . It can be added , moreover, that the UNC in south Korea is an instrument of US neo-colonialism .

The UN General Assembly on the 18th of November 1975 actually voted for the dissolution of the UNC in south Korea and the withdrawal of US troops from south Korea . However , nearly 50 years later this has still not been effected. So basically the will of the UN General Assembly and the majority of the countries of the world has been ignored.

The meeting of the UNC Korea and south Korean puppets on the 14th of November has been timed to coincide with aggressive military exercises by the US and south Korea against the DPRK. The planned meeting is about the igniting a second Korean War .

We call for Britain to withdraw from the UNC Korea and for the UN Command Korea to be dissolved immediately !
