The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK ) held an online seminar via Youtube on the 25th of June 2023 at 1400 hours as part of its anti-US weekend of solidarity with People’s Korea marking the 73rd anniversary of the provocation of the Korean War by the US imperialists . The online seminar attracted guests from the UK and outside the UK .
Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England said that “The press agencies of the so - called 'free world' from the great corporations of the American and Western press about DPRK, if you look at them closely and confront them with the existing reality, make an analysis and compare with what is actually in a given topic, in fact they do not have any informative value, are often unreliable in the events they describe and often forcibly dramatized.
It must go that way. Because the mission of these news reports about DPRK and their purpose is to deceive and unreliably inform about what is in reality.
In this process of 'distorting' the truth and reality of Korea's DPRK into shameful lies and portraying this great country as a terrifying place that no sane person would think of saying anything good, it is definitely within the purview of the propaganda masters in Washington”
Comrade Alan Bolon in his speech exposed current threats against People’s Korea.
He concluded that “Let our enemies know that the truth about People's Korea will be preached with even greater ferocity and intensity by us, more than all their invented lies. Let's not remain passive. Let's be active. Let them know, that the support and love of the free Korean people, love and dignity to achievements of Juche style socialism, is on our mouths and in our hearts, and we are ready to act and defend the People's Korea with militancy and the revolutionary spirit of Mount Paektu, with the slogan of the Korean People's Army - 'Do or Die!'
Defend People's Korea with NO IFS and with NO BUTS”
Dr Dermot Hudson Chairman of KFA UK referred to the importance of the issue of the responsibility for the provocation of the Fatherland Liberation War or Korean War saying that “In fact the issue of who fired the first shot , of who lit the fuse , is very much as a key question because firstly , US imperialism’s intervention and the invasion of the DPRK were justified on the grounds that the US under the cover of ‘police action’ and defending an ally from ‘aggression ‘ . Secondly , by falsely painting the DPRK as being responsible for the outbreak of the war , the US demonised the DPRK for decades and still demonises the DPRK to this day .It is part and parcel , in fact a key part , the hostile propaganda against the DPRK .For many years the DPRK was denied diplomatic recognition by Western countries as well as facing sanctions and trade blockades .”
Dr Hudson pointed out that “During the Fatherland Liberation War the US imperialists carried out all kinds of horrendous atrocities against the Korean people . 1.2 million civilians were killed through massacre by the US imperialists during the war” . He referred to his visits to the Sinchon where the US imperialists had killed 35,383 people during the war . Dr Hudson ended his talk by saying “The task for us in KFA UK is to strengthen solidarity with People’s Korea and to make sure that the truth about the start of the Korean War and the crimes of US imperialism in the war .Remember that the past determines the present and the future”
The vice-chairman of KFA Germany brought greetings from KFA Germany to the meeting and exposed the lies of the imperialists.
The speakers took questions from the participants .
A letter to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted .
Seminar concluded at 1605 hours.
