Statement of the International Central Committee for Songun Study on Max Thunder war exercises

The International Central Committee for Songun Study issued the following statement today :
   Peace on the Korean Peninsula , in the Asia-Pacific region and the world is being gravely disturbed by the US imperialists and south Korean military who commenced the "Max Thunder " airborne exercise against People's Korea on the 11th of May and plan to conclude it on the 25th of May
 These exercises  involve more than 100 fighters of various missions including B-52 strategic nuclear bombers and F-22 Raptor stealth fighters of the U.S. forces and will continue until May 25, under the supervision of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces in south Korea and the south Korean air force.
  Brining nuclear bombers into the area around the Korean peninsula is a clear cut provocation against the DPRK.
  We condemn these exercises as they are a rehearsal for a pre-emptive attack on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The Max Thunder exercise is aimed stifling Juche-based socialism by force.
 Max Thunder is against the letter and spirit of the April 27th Panmunjom declaration which states that hostile military actions should be ceased. Moreover Max Thunder  goes against the current mood of peace and relaxation of tension on the Korean peninsula

   We call for the immediate cancellation and cessation of "Max Thunder "
