Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- It is the strategic line consistently maintained by the Workers' Party of Korea in building the socialist economy to enhance independence and Juche character of the national economy, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an editorial.
It goes on:
To enhance the degree of independence and Juche character of national
economy is a work of vital importance in defending and glorifying most
advantageous Korean-style socialism as well as firmly defending our
independent life.
We are required to conduct all-out general offensive for further enhancing the independence and Juche character of the national economy on the basis of the valuable achievements and experience with confidence in sure victory and thus bring about a fresh turn in building a socialist economic power.
The drive for strengthening independence and Juche character of the national economy is not just a business-like issue but a struggle for ensuring the absolute prestige of the Party Central Committee and the Party policies and defending our socialist ideology and system.
Everybody has to carry out the militant tasks set forth by the Party under whatever conditions and circumstances, deeply aware that the implementation of the national economy plan for this year precisely leads to enhancing the independence and Juche character of the national economy.
Let us all wage a dynamic drive for enhancing the independence and Juche character of the national economy, rallied close around the Party and thus let the loud gunfire of victory in building an independent economic power ring out nonstop this year. -0-
