   The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, the Juche Idea Study Group of England ,the UK Korean Friendship Association and UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu today issued a joint statement in support of the decision of the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea to not take part in the United Nations conference to negotiate a legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons:
  The DPRK Foreign Ministry on the 24th of March announced that it would not participate in the
ke part in the United Nations conference to negotiate a legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons. Our organisations salute and applaud this and congratulate the DPRK on its most righteous
decision .
 The DPRK obviously supports the goal of a nuclear-free and peaceful world . However it is very unlikely that this UN conference can achieve any result given the US and other nuclear powers will
not participate . Such a conference will be a talking shop and a waste of time.
 We support the just measures of the DPRK to bolster its nuclear deterrent !
