The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and  the Korean Friendship Association  of  the UK  KFA UK  ),)issued the following joint statement in support of  the press statement "Attempt of the U.S., Japan and the ROK to turn cyber space into a theatre of geopolitical confrontation should not be allowed"  issued by comrade  Kim Chon Il, director of the Department of Press and Information of the DPRK Foreign Ministry on the 31st of August ;

The press statement of comrade  Kim Chon Il, director of the Department of Press and Information of the DPRK Foreign Ministry titled "Attempt of the U.S., Japan and the ROK to turn cyber space into a theatre of geopolitical confrontation should not be allowed " correctly draws attention of the attempt of the United States , ROK and Japan to use cyber space as a means of political confrontation . The US is clearly looking for another lever to put pressure on People's Korea and interfere in it internal affairs. The US re formed a tripartite diplomatic working group with Japan and south Korea in December 2023 allegedly to cope with the non-existent "cyber threat " from the DPRK  and recently held a meeting .  

As the press statement of comrade Kim Chon Il says "The DPRK Foreign Ministry strongly denounces and rejects the U.S., Japan and the ROK for their moves to use cyber space, the domain of development common to humankind, as a theatre of geopolitical confrontation and hostile propaganda against sovereign states."

There is no "DPRK Cyber threat " it is just nonsense propaganda .The US and its reactionary acolytes  the ROK and Japan are just looking for more excuses to impose sanctions on the DPRK .The US in recent months has sanctioned DPRK citizens and organisations.

The press statement of comrade Kim Chon Il rightly points out that " The more the U.S. persists in its anachronistic and malicious hostile acts against the DPRK through the intensified collaboration with its satellite countries, the more distrust and hostility will be piled up between the DPRK and the U.S"

We support the just efforts of the DPRK to take countermeasures against US hostility . We uphold the sovereign right of the DPRK to use cyber space .
