The great leader President KIM IL SUNG founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army (Anti-Japanese People's Guerrilla Army ) on the 25th of April 1932 in the forests of Manchuria.

The Korean People's Revolutionary Army was the first revolutionary armed force of Juche , an armed force of self-reliance . It was composed of workers and peasants and fought for national and class liberation. It is the forerunner of today's Korean People's Army .
