The Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea Study and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK issued the following joint statement on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the National Aerospace Technology Administration(NATA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ;
It was on the 1st of April 2013 the Democratic People's Republic of Korea established the National Aerospace Development Administration(NADA )which in September 2023 was renamed the National Aerospace Technology Administration (NATA) of the DPRK . The foundation of NATA on the 1st of April 2013 was a declaration that People's Korea is a Juche-based , independent space power . Moreover the DPRK has the independent right to pursue space exploration . Space should not be the monopoly of the US or big powers. The DPRK is a legitimate space power.
Since the inception of NATA 10 years ago ,, satellites of the Juche have soared into the heavens under the guidance of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .On the 7th of February 2016 the Kwangmyongsong-4 satellite was launched and on the 21st of November 2023 the Malligyong-1 military reconnaissance satellite was launched . These developments attest to the DPRK's great advances in space science .
In an interview with the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA ) comrade Pak Kyong Su, vice general director of NATA stated that " We will surely build a space power by putting sustained spurs to the independent development of space, bearing in mind that the growth of the space industry is a key element and a demonstration of the comprehensive national power in exploring a shortcut to securing the position of a world-class economic and sci-tech power. "
Our organisations salute the great advances made by People's Korea in the field of space technology and wish NATA further success in the future . May more satellites of Juche soar into the sky and may the DPRK conquer space .
