Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- The Kwangchon Chicken Farm, completed under the energetic guidance of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to open up a new phase of the development and modernization of the country's poultry farming, has been inaugurated in the DPRK.
The Kwangchon Chicken Farm, which was successfully built thanks to the noble intention and meticulous care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who believes in the people as in Heaven, is another asset which will make a great contribution to attaining the grandiose goal of the Party Central Committee which has put forward the improvement of the people's living standard as an important affair.
The buildings with the production lines put on a fully automated, intensive and scientific basis and a high-level veterinary and anti-epizootic and experimental analysis system, leisure facilities and rows of a thousand and hundreds of dwelling houses are located in the Kwangchon area in harmony with the local landscape to reflect the ideal of the WPK and the rapid development of the country.
An inauguration ceremony was held on January 13.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, Ri Il Hwan, Ju Chol Gyu, Kim Jong Gwan, Kim Yong Su, officials of the WPK Central Committee, service personnel and civilians involved in the construction, officials and employees of the Kwangchon Chicken Farm, and officials and workers of the units that contributed to the construction.
The premier of the Cabinet made an inaugural address.
He said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, with the noble outlook on the people that anything should be done at any cost if it is desired and welcomed by the people, unveiled a plan to build a highly modernized chicken farm in the Kwangchon area several years ago and energetically guided its implementation.
To create new models and the icons representing the new era one after another and continuously add to the successes is the guiding mode peculiar to the WPK which confidently leads the overall development of socialist construction, he said, calling for clearly demonstrating the validity and vitality of our Party policy through the increased production at the farm and the remodeling of all poultry farms across the country.
He called on all the people to work harder for the prosperity of their dignified and powerful country and bring earlier the rosy future when the people's ideal will come true, rallied close around Kim Jong Un. -0-
