The great leader Kim Jong Il devoted himself to the country and people all his life.
In December Juche 100(2011), the last period of his life, he visited more than 10 units including the water feeding and settling pond of the February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Hamhung Knitwear Factory, the Hana Music Information Centre and the Kwangbok Area Supermarket for the welfare of the people.
On the evening of December 16, a day before his demise, there were a mass of documents on his desk.
Of them, he examined a document on the supply of fish to the people. Though he was very tired with his field guidance tour, he took measures to transport fish and ratified the document at 21:13.
After sending the document to a department concerned, Kim Jong Il got on the train again that night for his continued field guidance.
Manageress Kim Un Sun at the Phyongchon District General Food Store says:
"I still remember December 23, 2011 when we received and supplied fish associated with the love of the great leader Kim Jong Il. Not only the saleswomen but also those who received the fish wept on and on with longing for him. At that time, some people were reluctant to leave the shop and some shed tears, expressing thanks to him."
The Korean people will tell the love of Kim Jong Il forever.
