The Korean Friendship Association of the UK , the true friends and defenders of People's Korea in the UK , will be picketing the BBC or British Brainwashing Corporation on the 21st of October.
The BBC is the official state broadcaster of the UK , it is not an 'independent broadcaster ' as some imagine , in fact its staff are vetted by the British security services and its content is closely controlled by the British state .
The BBC along with other mainstream media outlets is responsible for a sewage like torrent of anti-DPRK propaganda and lies , not just in Britain but all around the world .
A few months ago the BBC broadcast an anti-DPRK programme which was made in co-operation with the notorious south Korean far right website the 'Daily NK ' which is funded by the US 'National Endowment for Democracy ' . Thus the BBC is repeating the lies of south Korea and the US about the DPRK .
The BBC falsely claim that there is a 'famine ' in the DPRK when in fact everyone is supplied with food by the state at low cost and bumper harvests are being reaped .
The BBC’s propaganda offensive against People’s Korea coincides with the increasing censorship of supporters of People’s Korea on social media such as Facebook and Youtube . Posts have been deleted and even whole pages have been deleted .
We ask KFA UK members and supporters to spare just one and half hours of their time on the afternoon of Saturday 21st to denounce the lies of the BBC !
We ask those who have stood to one side in the past to support our picket of the BBC , let’s show the BBC that there are many people who support People’s Korea with No Ifs or Buts
