The Korean Friendship Association of the UK along with the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and Association for the Study of Songun Politics UK held a successful online meeting on the 1,10.22 at 1500 hours . The purpose of the meeting was to mark the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the 96th anniversary of the formation of the Down with Imperialism Union as well as discussions on the DPRK’s nuclear policy and also the Juche Idea and the World Revolution .
Participating were KFA UK officials and members and members of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea from London , West of England , Staffordshire and the south of England . Also KFA Serbia and KFA Bulgaria participated .
Dr Hudson KFA UK chairman and chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK’s status as a nuclear power was now fully legalised . He concluded by saying ‘Bravo to People's Korea for declaring itself a permanent nuclear weapons state . The DPRK has rejected all attempts to disarm it and push it down a certain path . The DPRK also rejected so -called aid from south Korea which was conditional on the DPRK unilaterally disarming itself . The DPRK also rejected imperialist aid when the Covid 19 epidemic arose in the DPRK .’
Alan Bolon KFA UK Organisation Secretary and head of KFA UK West of England said that “the DPRK as a fully independent and sovereign country, has the full right to develop its nuclear program and any pointless and unjustified actions to prevent US imperialist forces will not change this fact, that the DPRK is and will be a nuclear power and the strongest counterweight to world imperialism”
Referring to the 77th anniversary of the Workers Party of Korea, comrade Alan said “We should congratulate and wish WPK continued success in the great way of building Korean socialism, the Korean Juche and people- oriented socialism.’
The chairman of Staffordshire KFA UK branch and secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made reference to the work of President KIM IL SUNG “"Let Us Meet A Revolutionary Upheaval Victoriously By Strengthening The Party, Government Organs And Peoples Army and Carrying Out Great Socialist Construction More Efficiently" which was published in 1975 . The work stressed that the capitalist world was in deep crisis and would face revolutionary upheavals . At the time the work was published the capitalist countries faced recession and inflation but the DPRK was immune to the crisis and advanced under the banner of self-reliance . The speaker pointed out that the situation today is very similar: with rising prices and an energy crisis in the capitalist world . The Juche idea shows the way forward to revolution .
Dr Hudson spoke about the 77th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea recalling his visit to the DPRK in 2015 to witness the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers’ Party of Korea . He pointed out that “All the achievements of People’s Korea such as the abolition of taxation , free housing, free education and free health care as well as rapid economic growth and strong independence are the result of the leadership of the great Workers Party of Korea guided by respected Marshal KIM JONG UN .”
Dr Hudson also referred to the 96th anniversary of the formation of the Down With Imperialism Union saying that “.The DPRK and WPK are firmly pursuing the line of independence and anti-imperialism that was laid down by the DIU . The DPRK is the most independent country in the world . It is anti-imperialist.”
The representative of KFA Serbia said that the achievements of the DPRK and WPK are great .
The representative of KFA UK south of England said that he saluted the anniversary of the foundation of the WPK and looked forward to the day when Korea is reunified under the banner of the DPRK .
The meeting resolved to find new ways of defending People’s Korea by using alternative platforms .
A letter to respected Marshal KIM JONG UN was adopted .
