At about five o'clock on the morning of January 14, Juche 103(2014) a leading official of the State Academy of Sciences unexpectedly had a phone call from the respected Kim Jong Un.
Kim Jong Un said: Last year I made a promise to build houses for scientists in the Unjong area of scientists. So, I thought about it all night. How many houses are really needed?
Listening to the leading official, he repeated the number of houses suggested and said he should go and see in person anyhow.
We should do a lot of good things for the people. I will go soon and see you again, he said and put down the phone.
Early morning, he visited the State Academy of Sciences.
Learning about the scientific researches in detail for a long time, he stressed the need to fully solve the problem on the living of scientists and technicians.
Saying he visited the State Academy of Sciences importantly to solve the problem of houses of scientists, he took specific measures related to the housing construction.
Soon after winding up his field guidance to the State Academy of Sciences, he called at Lake Yonphung by which a scientists holiday camp would be built to confirm its site finally.
The Wisong Scientists Residential District was inaugurated on October 17, Juche 103(2014).
