In 2022, the progressive people throughout the world will mark the 110th birthday of President KIM IL SUNG and the 80th birthday of His Excellency KIM JONG IL, the eternal leaders of the Korean people who have rendered the prominent services to freedom and independence of Korea and its prosperous socialist development, and to the history of world politics in the 20th and the 21st centuries.
President KIM IL SUNG and His Excellency KIM JONG IL are peerless great men who have illuminated the way ahead of mankind for the independence, by dint of Juche and Songun, while victoriously carrying forward the causes of socialist construction, national reunification, global independence and sovereignty with their outstanding ideology and theory, and noble virtues.
The Democratic People's Republic of Korea inspires wonder and admiration in the international community as a powerful country; it can in no way be trifled by the 'self-lauded' superpowers, and as an ideal society aspired by the masses of the working people around the world. This is thanks to the foundation of eternal value which was laid by President KIM IL SUNG and His Excellency KIM JONG IL, for the prosperous and powerful Korea with their entire life dedicated.
His Excellency KIM JONG UN, unflinchingly carrying forward ideologies and cause of the preceding leaders, is building the DPRK into the eternal beacon of hope for the progressive humankind by regarding "serving the people with devotion" as the foremost national policy and with his indefatigable leadership, braving unprecedented difficulties and ordeals including ever-increasing maneuvers of the hostile forces to stifle it with sanctions and on-going global health crisis.
The world's progressive people takes to heart once again the greatness of President KIM IL SUNG and His Excellency KIM JONG IL, peerless great men, by witnessing the reality of Korea today, which vigorously advances for the construction of an ideal society of humankind by upholding the unfurled banner of independence and socialism. At the same time, they pay tribute to the brilliant leadership of His Excellency KIM JONG UN, who inherits the revolutionary cause of the preceding leaders.
We, officially announcing the formation of the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee in Celebration of the 110th Birthday of President KIM IL SUNG and the 80th Birthday of His Excellency KIM JONG IL, would like to appeal to the members of the Organizing Committee for International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu (OCIFPGPP), friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people around the world, and the world progressives as follows:
1. Let's greet the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star in 2022 with full preparation, and splendidly celebrate the 110th birthday of President KIM IL SUNG and the 80th birthday of His Excellency KIM JONG IL as a common holidays to the world's progressive mankind.
The year 2022 is a meaningful year which will mark as another turning point in the activities of organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, international democratic organizations and progressive figures from various countries in their efforts to praise the revolutionary lives and grandeur of the great persons of Mt. Paektu, who scored imperishable achievements in accomplishing the cause of global independence and sovereignty.
We ardently appeal to all the progressive organizations and individuals around the world, who support the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, to proactively conduct distinctive celebration activities on the international scale so that the year 2022 can be adorned as the meaningful year to laud the great activities and immortal feats of President KIM IL SUNG and His Excellency KIM JONG IL, peerless great men.
2. Lets give wide publicity to reality of contemporary DPR Korea, the great Paektusan nation, that unvaryingly adheres to the independent stand in the face of imperialism in spite of all the challenges and trials in the history.
Today, ideas and exploits of President KIM IL SUNG and His Excellency KIM JONG IL for global independence and sovereignty are firmly carried forward by His Excellency KIM JONG UN, president of the State Affairs of the DPRK, and the DPRKorea leads the way as the vanguard of the progressive forces for building an independent new world where genuine international justice is secured in defiance of domination and subjugation.
The year 2022 is the year in which we mark the 10th anniversary of election of His Excellency KIM JONG UN into the highest post of the Party and State of Korea with unanimous and unreserved will and support of the Korean people.
His Excellency KIM JONG UN is one another peerless great man of Mt. Paektu who has taken the lead in safeguarding the world peace and security, realizing independence against imperialism, and securing the genuine international justice for last ten years with noble and popular politics of "Believing in the people as in heaven" and "Serving the people with devotion", and with seasoned leadership.
We ardently appeal to give wide publicity to the reality of Korea, a country which further glorifies the ideas and exploits of the preceding leaders under the guidance of His Excellency KIM JONG UN, amid the on-going sanction-and-stifle scheme of the hostile forces and global health crisis threatening the existence of humankind, while making fresh leaps and developments in the construction of the ideal society of humankind. We also appeal to vigorously carry out the activities in support of the just cause of the Korean people to achieve the national reunification.
Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee in Celebration of the 110th Birthday of President KIM IL SUNG and the 80th Birthday of His Excellency KIM JONG IL expresses its firm conviction and hope that members of OCIFPGPP, friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people, and international friends of the Korean people will brilliantly discharge its mission and duty in celebrating the year 2022 as the most auspicious year of the progressive humankind.
