Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Observers to Eighth WPK Congress

 

Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, had a photo taken with the observers to the 8th WPK Congress with its venue for a background on Saturday.


Present at the photo session were Jo Yong Won and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and secretaries of the Party Central Committee, and Pak Thae Song, Jong Sang Hak, Ri Il Hwan, Kim Tu Il and Choe Sang Gon, members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and secretaries of the Party Central Committee.


The observers to the congress were full of excitement and joy as they were honored to have a photo taken with the General Secretary they had always longed for.


They felt their hearts leaping in profound reverence for the General Secretary who personally called them to the venue of the historic Party congress etched in the history of our Party and the country and wished them successes in their future struggle with his warm love and trust.


When he appeared at the venue of the photo session amid the playing of the welcome music, all the participants broke into stormy cheers of "hurrah!" in token of their deepest respect for the General Secretary who indicated the correct orientation of advance for our Party and revolution with his outstanding ideological and theoretical wisdom and superb leadership and opened up a wide avenue toward prosperity and development of our dignified state and happiness of the people.


He warmly waved back to the participants who were filled with fervent enthusiasm to make signal successes in their future practical struggle by dint of their revolutionary faith and indomitable spirit renewed with the congress as an occasion.


He posed for a picture with them, expressing his expectation that the observers to the congress, together with delegates, would kindle the flames of revolution and become standard-bearers and pioneers of progress in every campaign site for implementing the decision made at the 8th Party Congress.


All the participants vowed to make a positive contribution to ushering in an era of fresh development and an era of our state-first principle by making indefatigable and devoted efforts, deeply cherishing the main idea and the main spirit of the 8th Party Congress. -0-
