The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK),the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE),the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the UK Preparatory Committee For the 2017 Gathering to Praise the Great Persons Born of Mt Paektu issued the following joint statement in support of the  spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea  of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK):
  It is now 59 years since the US imperialists introduced nuclear weapons into south Korea which was actually in violation of the Korean Armistice Agreement  .The DPRK is most unfairly and wrongfully blamed for the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula. However as the statement of the Korean National Peace Committee shows it is is the US is the author and culprit of the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula. No one in Korea asked for the US to bring its nuclear weapons to south Korea.
  It is the US imperialists and successive puppet regimes in south Korea than turned south Korea nto a  nuclear forward base which had at one point over a 1,000 nuclear weapons in south Korea making it one giant nuclear powderkeg which could destroy humanity several times over.At the same time the US imperialists and south Korean puppets have carried out nuclear war exercises . The US has also designated the DPRK a target of a pre-emptive nuclear attack.
  Blaming the DPRK for the nuclear issue is bascially blaming the innocent for defending themselves ! The DPRK's nuclear deterrent was created in response to the persistent and decades long nuclear threat.It is purely a self-defensive measure to defend the independence ,sovereignty and supreme interests of the DPRK.
  The US should fully withdraw all nuclear weapons and nuclear attack means from the south of Korea and this should be done in an open and transparent way. Furthermore the US imperialists and south Korean puppets should stop nuclear war exercises and the US should end nuclear threats against the DPRK.
  If the US is unwilling to do this then it is only just that the DPRK will respond in kind by steadily bolstering its nuclear deterrent.
