ASSPUK and JISGE on the 16th anniversary of the June 15 Declaration

The Association For the Study of Songun Poltics UK (ASSPUK) and the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) issued a joint statement on the 16th anniversary of the  historic north -south joint declaration for Korean reunification which falls on the 15th of June;
   On the 15th of June it will be some 16 years since the joint declaration between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and south Korea was signed in Pyongyang . This was a ground-breaking event  and a happy event for the Korean nation which had suffered division due to the actions of outside forces primarily the US imperialists. Without a doubt the US is an unwanted and intrusive interloper in the Korean question.
    The June 15 declaration of 2000 heralded a new era of advance towards reunification and inter-Korean reunification . It melted away the icy glaciers of distrust ,division and confrontation which had existed for many decades on the Korean peninsula. The June 15 declaration marked a new start , the opening of a new chapter in the history of the Korean people.
     The June 15th declaration was an embodiment of the idea of "By Our Nation Itself " put forward by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG , a concept that is basically a creative application of the great Juche idea to the reunification question . The declaration was only possible because of the administration of Songun politics by the great leader Chairman KIM JONG IL. Songun politics provides the crucial underpin for reunification of Korea.
    After the signing of the June 15 declaration there was an era of co-operation between the north and south of Korea .However this was put into reversal by the puppet regimes of south Korea ,firstly by Lee Myung Bak and then the present south Korean chief executive Park Geun Hye .These puppets have disrupted and negated the work of inter-Korean co-operation and reconciliation. Park Geun Hye has gone to the extremes with different anti-DPRK fatwas and campaigns such as leaflet scattering ,the "human rights offensive "and so-called "independent sanctions".Park even closed the Kaesong Industrial zone ,the fruit of the June 15 declaration.Now quite contrary to the principles of the June 15 declaration she is running to this country and that country begging for co-operation against the DPRK.
   The dear respected leader Chairman KIM JONG UN put forward new proposals to revitalise the June 15th at the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea . He put forward a bold line of Juche-orientated reunification.
   It is our belief as Juche Idea and Songun Idea followers of the UK that the Korean people will realise the ideals of the June 15th declaration by defeating  the US and other forces opposed to reunification and will build a prosperous reunified people's paradise .
We support the struggle of the Korean people for reunification.
