Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- An extremely grave situation has now been
created on the Korean Peninsula due to reckless Key Resolve and Foal
Eagle joint military exercises kicked off by the U.S. and the south
Korean puppet forces.
The south Korean puppet group, in collusion with the U.S. scheming
to stifle the DPRK by force, is pushing the situation on the peninsula
to the brink of a war.
The Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) Tuesday
released the following statement under the prevailing grave situation:
First. As the south Korean puppet forces have come out as a shock
brigade in executing the U.S. scenario to ignite a war against the DPRK,
all the service personnel and people of the DPRK will resolutely punish
the U.S. imperialist aggressors and the puppet war maniacs through
merciless and toughest countermeasures.
All strike means for ground, sea, underwater, air and cyber
operations of the Korean People's Army which never makes empty words
have now been placed on alert, aiming at targets.
The south Korean puppet forces have joined the U.S. in the military
drills, dreaming a wild dream to stifle the DPRK by taking advantage of
the U.S. power. This is, indeed, as foolish an act as digging up their
own abyss of ruin together with the U.S. imperialist aggressors.
As they have come out as servants of the U.S. keen on igniting a war
against the DPRK, they can never escape the punishment by the
revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK determined to resolutely wipe out
the provocateurs and aggressors, which will just lead them to their
final ruin.
The DPRK, as it had already warned, will deal the harshest baptism
of fire beyond imagination at the confrontation maniacs attempting to
invade its inviolable territory, and conclude the great war for national
reunification with final victory.
Second. Now that the puppet warmongers are making an open challenge
by kicking off the war drills against the north, together with the U.S.,
the opportunity of the north-south dialogue and improvement of
relations have already passed and there will only be a final stand-off
by force.
Advancing an important proposal to write the new history of the
inter-Korean relations this year, the DPRK urged the south Korean
authorities to stop all war moves including reckless military drills
they stage with outside forces on an annual basis.
But the puppet group kicked off the provocative drills simulating a
nuclear war against the north together with its U.S. master, blatantly
challenging the DPRK.
The puppet group brings dark clouds of a war to hang over Korea in
collusion with the U.S. imperialist aggressors. Yet, it makes a spate of
absurd sophism that the war drills are one thing and the inter-Korean
relations are another thing.
The group who has already set fire to an ammunition dump is
trumpeting about "dialogue", pretending ignorance of it, but no one will
be taken in by. And more cemented will be the DPRK's will to
mercilessly stamp out confrontational maniacs who dare level guns at
their compatriots.
The south Korean puppet forces will be made to keenly realize what
miserable consequences caused by war they will face as they just let a
golden opportunity offered for the north-south dialogue and improvement
of the relations go by.
Third. The whole Korean nation and the peace-loving people all over
the world are required to resolutely check and frustrate the anti-DPRK
nuclear war drills by the U.S. and south Korean puppet group that harass
the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity.
The prevailing situation vividly shows once again that the U.S.
imperialists and south Korean puppet forces are the very ones who
disturb the peace and stability on the peninsula and screw up the
tension in Northeast Asia.
While aggression and war are the U.S. mode of existence,
unconditional submission and pursuance to the U.S. are the second nature
the south Korean puppet forces have acquired for existence.
The south Korean puppet forces are traitors who got so shameless as
to hand over the prerogative of the supreme command of the army to the
U.S. and hurled young people as bullet shields for the U.S., while
crying out for "blood alliance".
It is self-evident that as long as the U.S. and south Korean puppet
forces are allowed to continue anti-DPRK war drills, the Korean nation
can neither lead a peaceful life nor evade the nuclear holocaust.
The final victory is in store for the army and people of the DPRK
all out for the just cause while bitter defeat and final ruin await the
U.S. and south Korean puppet group.
The aggressors and provocateurs will keenly experience the bitterest
consequences of their vicious nuclear war drills against the DPRK. -0
