The ASSPUK ,JISGE and UK KFA issued the following statement denouncing the UN Security Council for its unjust attitude and unwarranted interference in the affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
We strongly applaud the stance of the DPRK Foreign Ministry as expressed in the answers given on May 6th .
The hypocrisy of the permanent members of the UNSC has reached new heights. It is indeed the permanent members of the UNSC that have carried out the most nuclear tests in the world . Moreover it is the US that is the only country to have actually used nuclear weapons(it should be added against a non nuclear state at the time). Again the UNSC under the manipulation of the US imperialists is taking a "Do as I say but don't do as I do " type stance. The UNSC is fast becoming discredited amongst the world's people  and is being seen as a big waste of space.
It is the legitimate and sovereign right of the DPRK to pursue the use of nuclear energy and the exploration. It has has the right to nuclear deterrence in order to defend itself from the US nuclear threat .  Interfering in the DPRK 's use of nuclear energy and its exploration of space is a mean and insidious stratagem to stifle the DPRK's independent development and its socialist system centred upon the popular masses, Thus the UNSC is a tool of the US imperialists and other imperialists which seek to stifle and destroy Juche-based socialism in the DPRK.
The action of the permanent members of the UNSC is in contravention  of the September 2005 statement at the 6 party talks , which several of the permanent members of the UNSC were a party to. Some big powers are showing a poor face indeed. The statement of the UNSC permanent members rather than helping to resolve the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula actually makes it more complicated and fraught.

We firmly support the DPRK's independent and sovereign to pursue the use of nuclear energy and to explore space. Let no one interfere in this !
