Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Shooting incidents have been reported one after another in the United States from early this year. When a gathering was taking place in front of a department store in Arizona on January 8, a 22-year-old man fired at ralliers, killing and wounding some of them. Earlier, on the fifth, a student of a senior high school in Omaha City, Nebraska fired at teachers, leaving the deputy principal dead and the principal wounded. Several were shot to death in senior high schools in southern Chicago, Georgia and in the suburbs of Los Angels. Gun ownership is allowed for all by law in the United States. Firearms in the hands of individuals total more than 200 million in the country. According to a civic organization of the United States, an estimated 100 000 people are victims of shootings every year, more than 30 000 of them losing their lives.
