Foodstuff Factories Show Growth of Production

Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The foodstuff output has been on the increase in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The Jangjasan Combined Foodstuff Factory has drawn up a scientific management and business strategy and put the supply of raw and other materials and the management of equipment and labour on a rational basis to operate the CNC-based production processes at full capacity.
It has also strictly observed the technical rules and standard regulations in washing, cutting, saucing and all other processes to improve the quality of the products.
The Jongbangsan Combined Foodstuff Factory has produced large quantities of nutritive and tasty things such as gingko leave tea, barley tea, cookie, bread, noodle and millet jelly.
The factory is now updating the packing material production process.
The Chongbong Combined Foodstuff Factory produces pickles with such edible herbs as Aster scaber, Ligularia fischeri and Codonopsis lanceolata.
Increased production has also been reported from other foodstuff factories throughout the country. -0-
