ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA salute 50th anniversary of the formation of the Preparatory Committee to found the Revolutionary Party for Reunification

The ASSPUK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association issued the following joint statement on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Preparatory Committee to Found the Revolutionary Party for Reunification ,the forerunner of today's Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front ;
                                           It is 50 years since the brave and heroic south Korean revolutionaries guided by the Juche and the thought of the great leader President Kim Il Sung took a momentous decision to set up a preparatory committee to found the Revolutionary Party for Reunification . The south Korean revolutionaries inspired by the teachings of the great leader President Kim Il Sung should be an independent party of the workers' and peasants of south Korea, as the great leader President Kim Il Sung said;

" The people in south Korea must have an independent workers’ and peasants’ party, a party deeply rooted in the broad masses, and they must win legal status for it.

This political party to be organized by the working people in south Korea will have to unite all patriotic forces and fight for the realization of a thoroughly anti-imperialist, anti-feudal program, and for the satis­faction of the urgent demands of the south Korean people.”

                        Thus on the 15th of March 1964 the south Korean revolutionaries braving the fierce fascistic repression of the south Korean puppet clique formed the Preparatory committee to found the Revolutionary Party for Reunification . The Preparatory Committee defined the great Juche idea as the guiding idea of the party and the principle to be adhered to in party building . The RPR Preparatory Committee led many mass struggles such as the June 3 popular uprising .The Preparatory Committee  also formed front organisations such as the Front for the Liberation of the Fatherland and the National Liberation Front. In the 1969 the Revolutionary Party for Reunification, the vanguard party of the south Korean revolution ,was born . Later in view of the prevailing situation it became the National Democratic Front of  south Korea  and then the Anti-Imperialist Front of south Korea.

                                                   Throughout its 50 year history the Revolutionary Party for Reunification and its successor organisations the NDFSK  and the AINDF have upheld the Juche idea despite fascist repression of successive south Korean puppet regimes  and the insidious influence of revisionism, opportunism ,flunkeyism  and dogmatism.  The south Korean revolutionaries are bravely upholding the red flag of Juche and communism in south Korea even when  some communist parties who enjoyed much more favourable and easier conditions collapsed or liquidated themselves .

                   Our organisations, the ASSPUK , JISGE and UK KFA, salute the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front for its proud and unswerving loyalty to the Juche cause  and the cause of reunifying Korea  over the past 50 years . May the AINDF , the successor to the Revolutionary Party for Reunification march on to greater victories under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism  and achieve the independent reunification of Korea !
