We are outraged to learn that Britain is participating in the aggressive Freedom Shield military exercises in south Korea which are being staged by the US and south Korea from today , 10th of March .
The Freedom Shield exercises are aggressive in intent .They are aimed at intimidating the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)as well as practising the invasion of the DPRK and overthrowing the socialist system in the DPRK .
Exercises such as Freedom Shield greatly heighten tension and increase the prospect of war breaking out on the Korean peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region .
The presence of British forces in these exercises make Britain complicit in both warmongering and aggression not to mention the insidious and toxic schemes of the US and south Korea for ‘regime change ‘ and the colonisation of the DPRK.
At a time when Britain is facing spending cuts and council tax is being increased , it is shameful that taxpayers money is being wasted on military exercise on the other side of the world which have nothing to do with Britain,
Britain should not be a party to US aggression against People’s Korea . The shameful past of the UK with regard to Korea should not be repeated
We demand an end to British involvement on the Korean peninsula and the withdrawal of British forces.
We urge KFA UK members to write letters of protest to the FCDO , MoD and their MPs !
