London  1st of September 2026
The  British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK  )  , issued the following joint statement in support  of the press statement of the Spokesperson of the  Foreign Ministry (FM) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK ) on the 31st of August ;

Recently  the US continuing hostility towards the DPRK has been demonstrated by a number of facts despite the US president claiming that he wanted talks with the supreme leader of the DPRK .

Firstly , on the 26th of August an official of the US state department said that they had not changed their policy of trying to force denuclearisation on the DPRK  . The so-called "denuclearisation " of the DPRK is in fact a code word for regime change and the overthrow of the socialist system in the DPRK .

Secondly ,the US announced additional funding for more propaganda against the DPRK on the issue of non-existent  "human rights abuses " .

Thirdly , the US along the ROK and Japan will stage the Freedom edge military exercise threatening the DPRK and other countries.

The spokesperson for the DPRK Foreign Ministry correctly analyses these developments and points out " The Trump administration has thus fully reconfirmed its invariable hostile policy to wantonly violate the sovereignty, political system and security interests of the DPRK through the "denuclearization" racket, "human rights" smear campaign and military threats" adding that "It is pointless to expect any detente in the region, given the grave situation where the U.S. persistent hostile policy toward the DPRK is evolving in a more dangerous way."

The DPRK Foreign Ministry clarifies that the DPRK will bolster its deterrence and take counter measures as long as the US hostile policy towards the DPRK remains (which it clearly does ).

The press statement concludes with the words "There is no change in our policy toward the U.S. to respond to its invariable hostile policy with the toughest stand to the last. "

We support the resolute stand of the DPRK to counter the ongoing and invariable hostility of the US .
