KFA UK and BGSJI support the press statement of the Minister of National Defence of DPRK

London  8th  of September 2026 
The  British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK  )  , issued the following joint statement in support  of the press statement of  Kim Song Gi, minister of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) that was issued on Monday 7th of September;

Recently the US imperialists together with the ROK puppets and Japanese militarists began the multi-domain war exercises aimed at the DPRK and regional countries bordering the DPRK .On top of this the U.S. military is planning to stage Orient Shield, the largest-ever joint military drills, with Japan and Australia, from September 8 to 24 and to deploy in Japan the Strategic Mid-range Fires System Typhon.

The US is also planning to bring in an army multi-domain mobile  task force within a year .

As the press statement of the DPRK Minister of National Defence correctly observes "The U.S.-led war rehearsals are being staged one after another with no time gap now that the U.S.-Japan-ROK tripartite military cooperation system is being transformed into a dangerous offensive entity with nuclear elements. This constitutes a grave security threat pushing the instability on the Korean peninsula and beyond the region to the critical point."

The DPRK Minister of National Defence duly warns the US and its satellite states not to allow their reckless military moves to create conflict on the Korean peninsula and states that " we will express our will and ability to respond to the enemies' moves through more powerful and resolute action."

We support the resolute stance of the DPRK to defend its sovereignty and peace . We would also stress that more should be done to bring to the attention of the peace and anti-imperialist movement as well as the wider public the dangers of the continuous war mongering of the US , ROK and Japan and the false nature of the peace talked about by the US imperialists !

We believe that the US led war exercises should be completely cancelled !
