General Director Jang Chang Ha of DPRK Missile Administration Answers Question Put by KCNA

Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Jang Chang Ha, general director of the DPRK Missile Administration, answered a question raised by KCNA on October 14 as regards the ROK's test of a hypersonic gliding vehicle.

Question: On October 8, the ROK announced that it conducted the first test of a hypersonic gliding vehicle under research and development and opened to the public several photos concerning it.

Can you tell me any comment by our defence science research field?

Answer: I saw the photos, too. They were very interesting

One of the photos shows the gliding vehicle nose-diving towards the surface of waters. It is hard to believe that it underwent hypersonic flight circumstances characterized by extremely high temperatures as its outside appearance is so clean with its coating paint remaining intact, not stained with any soot.

Those who have not conducted a hypersonic gliding vehicle test are unaware of the changes taking place on its exterior.

The photos may serve as evidence proving that the gliding vehicle failed to make a hypersonic flight, contrary to the ROK's announcement.

Perhaps, such photos and unclear statement released by the ROK would arouse suspicions of many defence technicians and experts.

Question: I think many countries are vying with each other in the development of hypersonic weapon system.

Can you tell me the reason?

Answer: I think that question is not for me. It's better to read military science magazines if you are interested in it. -0

The Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), leader of the Korean revolution, the state and people with the longest history of socialist ruling party, is greeting the 81st birthday.

Running through the 80-odd years of the WPK is the people-first principle, as it has believed in people as in heaven and devotedly served them.

President Kim Il Sung built the WPK into an invincible revolutionary party, genuine political leadership organization struggling for the people in harmony with them.

Chairman Kim Jong Il strengthened and developed the WPK into a people’s party which cares their destiny with full responsibility for them, shares sweets and bitters with them and pushes ahead with the revolution and construction by enlisting their might and wisdom.

Since the WPK holds in high esteem respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, an outstanding thinker and theoretician, a great master of leadership and the benevolent father of the people, the Party has reached another peak of devotion to the people in the new era of the Juche revolution.

What underlies his idea of the people-first principle is that people’s safety and good health ensures the very existence of everything on this land and the greatest fortune will hold its value only when it serves for the people. True to this idea of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, people-oriented matters are given top priority in the DPRK.

The program of rural revolution in the new era, the regional development policy and other unprecedented far-reaching plans have been laid out and new spheres are steadily explored and extended for the promotion of the people’s livelihood.

New streets and houses in the capital city and rural villages, modern regional industrial factories, offshore farms, modern health facilities and other creations vividly showing the rapid growth of the overall national prosperity are permeated with the spirit of the WPK, which never derives satisfaction nor sets limits in the course of working for the people.

As we hold respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem, our people are firmly convinced that their dreams and ideals will surely come true, and they boundlessly trust and follow the WPK, calling it motherly Party.

The Korean revolution has won victory after victory braving all trials of history, which is unthinkable apart from the wise leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

The WPK boasts of a great origin and succession. The glorious history of its founding and revolutionary leadership are deeply engraved with the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the founder and the leader of the Workers’ Party of Korea.

During the course of waging a bloody struggle for national liberation, President Kim Il Sung paved the original path for building a revolutionary Party and accomplished the historic cause of founding the Party. He thus provided a solid cornerstone for the permanent existence and victorious development of the Party.

At a critical time when we witnessed in the international arena acute struggles between progress and reaction, the revolution and counter-revolution, and when the socialist cause and the cause of global independence faced grave challenges posed by the imperialists, Chairman Kim Jong Il made public the immortal work entitled “The Workers’ Party of Korea Organizes and Guides All the Victories of Our People” where he clearly indicated the orientation and ways for further development of the Party into an invincible and genuine people’s Party leading the cause of independence and socialism of the popular masses to victory.

Japan's Attempt to Possess Nuclear-Powered Submarine Is Aimed Only at Going Nuclear: Int'l Security Analyst

Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- Pak Ju Won, an international security analyst, released the following article "Japan's attempt to possess a nuclear-powered submarine is aimed only at going nuclear":

The military moves of Japan's present right-wing conservative regime, which put the successive Japanese regimes into the shade, have almost reached the dangerous level. Against this backdrop, the possession of a nuclear-powered submarine is being openly debated in the archipelago, giving rise to a concern among the international community.

Shortly ago, the Japanese prime minister said at a full-dress session of the House of Representatives that nothing is decided at present on dealing with the new power as regards the acquisition of a nuclear-powered submarine, adding that she would further discuss the issue of the defence capability with a view to revising the three documents on security within this year on the basis of the change in the security environment.

Earlier, the Japanese defense minister said on several occasions that he would not rule out all options but consider them, that the possession of nuclear weapons and a nuclear-powered submarine should not be ruled out in connection with the revision of the said three documents, and that it should be discussed without taboo.

In order to frame a reactionary security policy, Japan uses ministers to describe it as "one of the options" and sound the public opinion on it at home and abroad and then encourages the discussion of it through so-called expert panels to hastily deliberate and decide on it. It is a trite and cunning policy-making method peculiar to Japan.

In September last year, the expert panel under the Defense Ministry proposed to the government the review of the possession of a submarine with "the power of the next generation". The Liberal Democratic Party and the Japan Restoration Party reflected the same purport in their major policy agreement consisting of 12 articles when they formed a coalition government in October. And the chief cabinet secretary and defense minister said that all the options will not be ruled out. All the facts go to prove the above-said method.

The present ruling quarters of Japan are openly crying out for the possession of a nuclear-powered submarine after throwing away even the ambiguous expression "the power of the next generation". Lurking behind it is a sinister intention to create public opinion of favoring stipulating the issue in the said three documents to be revised in the end of this year.

It is the true intention of the Japanese neo-militarist force to formalize the possession of nuclear-powered submarines and secure a stepping-stone to the possession of nuclear weapons in the long-run.

It is a common understanding of the international community that Japan, which started the research and development of nuclear weapons in strict secrecy during World War II, has secretly laid foundations for acquiring the ability to manufacture nuclear weapons at any time since its defeat, and what remains to be done is its political decision only.

A barrier to that political decision is the domestic "basic law on atomic power," which stipulates that research, development and usage of nuclear energy should be limited to peaceful purposes, and deep-rooted negative opinion of the Japanese people who suffered nuclear calamities for the first time in the world.

Japan has removed the shackles put on it, a war criminal state, one by one by avoiding public criticism with such a trick as terming the "capability for attacking enemy base" and "three principles of arms export" the "capability for counterattack" and "three principles of defense equipment transfer". Worse still, the Japanese neo-militarists are working hard to revise the "Pacifist Constitution" banning it from having war capabilities. So it is easy for them to throw away the signboard of "peaceful use of atomic power".

Nowadays the Japanese rulers are making a fuss about "ever-worsening surrounding security environment." This is nothing but a petty trick to systematically pull down the institutional and legal barriers to building up aggression forces and cross the threshold for the building of nuclear-armed forces by creating extreme security unrest among the public and hyping the need to "bolster up independent deterrence".

What should not be overlooked is that the U.S., which is shifting the security burden onto its allies as much as possible to maintain its hegemony that is getting more and more vulnerable, has given the green light to Japan's possession of nuclear-powered submarines in order to use the Japanese reactionaries as shock brigades for implementing its hegemonic strategy.

When interviewed by Japanese media in Hawaii, a U.S. naval dignitary asserted that as Japan has nuclear power plants, it has the development technology serving as a foundation for building nuclear-powered submarines. This hints that the U.S. seeks to connive at and patronize Japan's moves for arming itself with nuclear weapons.

There is no guarantee that Japan will not launch a preemptive nuclear attack at any time if it has access to a nuclear-powered submarine with an operational range far beyond the coastal waters of the archipelago under the patronage of the U.S., in the context that it has long regarded surprise strike and preemptive attack as its exclusive tactics and main war method.

Japan is pursuing the possession of a nuclear-powered submarine, not content with its frantic effort for developing and deploying various ultra-modern attack weapons, having the neighboring countries within their striking range, after discarding the veil of "exclusive defense." Such neo-militarist moves of Japan and the U.S. backstage manipulation have become a fundamental factor that causes military imbalance and creates a new structure of fierce conflict in the region.

The situation proves how just the DPRK, which has ceaselessly bolstered up its national power, was when it opted for doing so of its own accord to defend the national sovereignty and ensure regional and global security. It also highlights the need to thoroughly deter the hostile forces' malicious attempts and moves at their initial stages by dint of the absolutely reliable deterrent for self-defence.

Japan's scheme to have access to a nuclear-powered submarine, aimed at arming itself with nuclear weapons, will surely bring disaster to the archipelago. -0-

DPRK Missile Administration Test-fires Submarine-launched Strategic Cruise Missiles

Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- The Missile Administration of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea test-fired two kinds of submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles in the East Sea of Korea on October 14.

Full General Kim Jong Sik, member of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and first vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, Full General Jang Chang Ha, general director of the Missile Administration of the DPRK, and underwater weapon system engineers of the Navy of the Korean People's Army oversaw the test-fire.

The test-fire aimed to examine the current mobilized posture of the underwater combat systems and contributed to getting the Navy skilled in performing its strategic missions and showcasing high reliability, trustworthiness and ability of the war deterrents of the DPRK.

It did not have any adverse impact on the security of neighboring countries. -0-

Joint Declaration of the Nordic Regional Seminar for Friendship with the Korean People

We, representatives of friendship associations, Juche study groups and anti-imperialist

organisations, gathered from across Europe, issue this collective declaration on the occasion of this

important seminar in Copenhagen. Convening on the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers’

Party of Korea, we stand united in declaring our firm solidarity with the Democratic People’s

Republic of Korea and affirming its monumental achievements in socialist construction.

Despite years of severe global health crises, natural disasters, and ongoing imperialist sanctions, the

DPRK has entered a dynamic new era of socialist development. Guided by the strategic decisions of

the 8th and 9th Congresses of the Workers' Party of Korea under the leadership of General-Secretary

Kim Jong Un , the country is demonstrating that people-centered development thrives under the

banner of self-reliance. The unprecedented transformation of urban and regional life across the

country is clearly visible in projects such as the swift construction of 50,000 modern apartments in

Pyongyang, provided to the working people free of charge, as well as the revolutionary 20×10

policy, which is constructing modern industrial plants, regional hospitals, and local infrastructure

across 20 cities and counties each year to eliminate regional disparities. Furthermore, new welfare

and leisure facilities such as the Wonsan-Kalma Beach Resort, the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, and

advanced agricultural sites like the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm reflect a state entirely

dedicated to elevating the cultural life, leisure, and health of its entire population.

These monumental achievements of Korean socialism are made possible by the state’s unyielding

defence of its independence. In the face of constant military encirclement, aggressive joint

exercises, and nuclear threats by US imperialism and its regional military alliances, the DPRK’s

constitutional decision to strengthen its defensive nuclear deterrent remains entirely justified and

serves as the primary guarantee of peace and stability in the region. Recognising that imperialist

powers rely heavily on systematic disinformation to isolate the DPRK, our solidarity movement

commits to elevating the quality and reach of our propaganda work. By utilising truth as our

primary weapon and adopting modern communication formats, including digital media and broad

cultural outreach, we will effectively counter hostile propaganda and present the genuine reality of

the DPRK to workers and students all across Europe.

Approaching the centenary of the Down With Imperialism Union, the international situation

demands a bold leap forward in our collective work. Connecting with the growing anti-imperialist

consciousness and disdain for US imperialism, we commit ourselves to expand international

coordination through the European Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the

Korean People, promote joint campaigns across borders and actively organise progressive people

into the movement. We extend our revolutionary greetings to the Korean people and the Workers'

Party of Korea, affirming our unwavering commitment to build a powerful and unified solidarity

movement with the DPRK.

Dear honoured diplomatic representatives of the DPRK 

Dear friends of Nordic friendship organisations

Firstly , please accept my greetings to this significant Nordic Regional Seminar of Friendship Organisations hosted by the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association . Originally , I had planned to attend this seminar in person but circumstances conspired to prevent me so I am sending my greetings to the seminar and the following presentation;

This seminar of friendship organisations with the DPRK in the Nordic region is being held at a time when the DPRK is celebrating the 81st anniversary of the foundation of  its ruling party , the Workers Party of Korea (WPK)and will soon celebrate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Down With Imperialism Union ,the forerunner of the WPK .

Today under the  leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK ) has entered a new era of prosperity . Even the most reactionary mouthpiece of US imperialist high finance the “Wall Street Journal “ had to grudgingly admit the DPRK is the  “World’s Most Surprising Economic Success Story “ and is building more homes than American cities like Chicago and Los Angeles .  Of course the DPRK has long been famed as the “country of Chollima “ and ‘model country of socialism “

Visiting the DPRK in April 2024(after nearly 5 years ) I was amazed by what I saw . During the visit I witnessed that the situation in the DPRK is calm and stable .The DPRK had closed its borders for 4 years but survived ,a truly amazing feat when you consider that some countries would only last weeks or even days with their borders closed . However the DPRK is based firmly on self-reliance and the independent national economy .

  Despite the sanctions imposed by the US and its lackeys on the UN Security Council and the COVID 19 pandemic the DPRK is carrying out massive construction work ,it is going through another great Chollima upsurge( Chollima was a flying horse of legend in Korea and gave its name to the mass movement for increased productivity in the DPRK in the late 1950s)  .A new street, Hwasong Street which is the size of a small city has appeared in Pyongyang.On the day of our arrival our coach to the hotel passed through and later in the visit we drove through Hwasong Street both during the day and at night . Hwasong Street looks very modern and of good quality .It would cost billions to build in a Western country but the DPRK gives homes to people free of charge . Whilst we were staying in the DPRK the second stage of Hwasong Street  was opened in the presence of the supreme leader of the DPRK , respected Marshal KIM JONG UN. On the way back to the airport we could see from a distance the new construction in the Sopho District.

When I returned to the DPRK in October 2025 to participate in the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Workers Party of Korea , the construction project in Sopho district had been completed . The route to the airport which I had passed through 20 times had become completely unrecognisable. The development of the DPRK  is being achieved without outside help, ‘aid’ or foreign capital and without “reform” and “opening up “ . It is a miracle of self-reliance and shows what a socialist country can do when it relies on its own resources and believes in itself.

The DPRK is upholding socialist principles at a time when others are retreating .Marshal KIM JONG UN declared that “For the Workers' Party of Korea, the government of the Republic and our people, the absolute lifeline is to remain faithful to the socialist line and hold higher the banner of socialism”

Once about 10 years ago a member of our Korean Friendship Association of the UK asked a certain organisation why they did not support the DPRK , they replied that “there is no focus for socialism in Asia , only in Latin America” ! From where I stand socialism in Latin America is being sold out or is crumbling fast.  A certain country held up by some British leftists as an ideal socialist country is handing over tons of oil to the US imperialists ! However  socialism in People’s Korea is advancing rapidly under the banner of the red flag of the Juche idea . The day will come  when the DPRK becomes, to use an English expression, the’ only game in town’ . Therefore, in my opinion, there is the potential for us to win new supporters ,people who in the past may have stood to one side or even been hostile to the DPRK . Moreover in a number of Western European countries the political system is in crisis with high levels of disillusionment and dissatisfaction . As a result many people are looking for alternatives . This can also provide us with opportunities to promote the Juche idea , win new friends for People’s Korea and increase solidarity with People’s Korea .

We need to grasp with both hands the opportunities for increasing support for the DPRK.

Report of Online Seminar on the work of Chairman KIM JONG IL “ The Imperialists’ Schemes for “Reform” and “Opening” Are Unpardonable Moves for Aggression and Disintegration “ held on 11.10.2026.

The Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK) and the British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea  held an online seminar on the important work of Chairman KIM JONG IL  titled “ “ The Imperialists’ Schemes for “Reform” and “Opening” Are Unpardonable Moves for Aggression and Disintegration “ on the 11th of October at 1800 hours BST . Participating in the seminar were officials and members of KFA UK from London , West of England ,north west England and many other parts of the UK  . There were also guests from the People’s Korea Initiative of Poland, KFA Mexico and a number of other countries.

Dr Dermot Hudson chairman of KFA UK and Chairman of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said the publication of the work “ The Imperialists’ Schemes for “Reform” and “Opening” Are Unpardonable Moves for Aggression and Disintegration” in English for the first time is a very important landmark.

Comrade Alan Bolon, KFA UK organisation secretary and head of KFA UK West of England made an introduction of the work saying it is a very important work in understanding why socialism was frustrated in some countries and how the imperialists deliberately tried to introduce ‘reform ‘ and ‘opening up ‘ into socialist countries as a means of destroying socialism and restoring capitalism.

Comrade Bolon then read out the whole work paragraph by paragraph giving a detailed explanation of each paragraph . He concluded by quoting great President KIM IL SUNG on the need to capture both the material and ideological fortress of socialism .

Dr Hudson spoke  his visit to the DPRK in 1996 ,two years before the work was published , during the ‘arduous march ‘ period ,recollecting the militant spirit of the people of the DPRK not to collaborate with the imperialist . Dr Hudson said the work describes the imperialist’s strategy of the so-called “peaceful transition “ to destroy socialism from within.

A very lively discussion followed.

  Everybody loves his or her mother. Likewise, the Korean people warmly love and boast of the Workers' Party of Korea all over the world, calling it mother.

Our Mother with Many Children

  Our mother, the Workers' Party of Korea, brings up all the sons and daughters on this land wonderfully.

  Among them are Han Tong Suk, Headmistress of the Jungdok Primary School in the city of Phyongsong affiliated to the Phyongsong Teachers Training College in South Phyongan Province, and her sister.

  Han Tong Suk has been teaching for tens of years since her girlhood.

  She has devoted all her wisdom and passion to education in order to repay the benevolence of the WPK that trained her born into an ordinary family as an educator, considering her wish.

  The Party held her up as People's Teacher and a meritorious person of socialist patriotism.

  Her younger sister Han Tong Son is a poetess who created many long epics including "Sky of the Sun", "Great Defender" and "Green Willow" loved by the Korean people.

  The long epic "Sky of the Sun", in particular, is a work laureate of the People's Prize.

  Han Tong Son was no more than a literary enthusiast who loved poem more than others. She could become a writer in military uniform and an official guiding creative work under the care of the Party.

  The two sisters took part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK in October last year and the Ninth Congress of the WPK in February this year as delegates.

  A lot of other people on this land are growing to be heroes and doctors under the care of the motherly Party.

  There is a saying in our country; "Much effort is needed to bring up a child."

  Then how much effort is needed to bring up lots of children in this country wonderfully?

Our Mother Full of Cares

  Mothers always care about how to feed, clothe and train their children better.

  The Korean people grow up under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea from their birth.

  The dairy products children take every day, uniforms and bags of schoolchildren and their notebooks and pencils are associated with the warm love of the motherly Party.

  The WPK provided the people suffering from disaster with better conditions, worrying about their life even at night and sharing sweets and bitters with them, and built the best houses for those with the housing problem in consideration of their mental agony.

  Indeed, it is endless to count the undertakings carried out by our Party for the people.

  Under the care of the motherly Party, more and more undertakings for the people are carried on and a new era of regional transformation is ushered in.

  The Party's care reaches everywhere people live like inexhaustible milk duct, sunlight and air.

  The people's happiness is growing under the care of the mother.

  Everyone in the world knows well about the situation of the Gaza Strip in Palestine whose people are forced to suffer all sorts of misfortunes.

  Why is such misery caused?

  It is because they don't have the great mother to defend their genuine life, though they have mothers who gave birth to them.

  That's why they are losing their dear homes and beloved children.

  The Korean people born on this land keep it as the precious truth of life that the WPK is the one and only great mother in the world.

  A child never betrays his or her mother.

  It is the fervent desire of all sons and daughters on this land to entrust their destiny to such an excellent and great mother and invariably follow only the motherly Party even though they are born again many a time.

 

National Defence Revolution Museum Inaugurated in DPRK

Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea is steering the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Paektu to a brilliant victory, consolidating the national power in every way and dynamically opening up a new era of comprehensive national development, a new chapter in the building of a powerful country. Now that the whole country is overflowing with the people's great confidence in the WPK, the National Defence Revolution Museum under the Second Economy Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was inaugurated with due ceremony on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the WPK.

The museum comprehensively deals with the sacred history of the WPK's guidance on national defence industry and its great fruits, associated with its steadfast faith of independence, resolute determination, painstaking effort and passionate sincerity for taking responsible care of the country and the people. It is the grand national treasure house of eternal significance showcasing the Korean people's strong spirit and steadfast revolutionary will and the absolute power of the DPRK.

A ceremony for inaugurating the museum took place with splendour on October 11.

The venue for the ceremony was brimming with deep reverence for Comrade Kim Jong Un who has ushered in the greatest heyday of the DPRK's military strength with his outstanding military strategy and idea, extraordinary and unique leadership, great devotion and tenacious execution faculty.

The Central Military Band of the Ministry of National Defence gave a peculiar dynamic performance.

All the participants paid the highest tribute and glory to Comrade Kim Jong Un, who is representing the mightiness and heroism of the great Party, country and people and their sacred dignity and brilliant honour.

Present at the ceremony were the members of the Party central leadership, including the secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, leading officials of the national defence industry, commanding officers of the Ministry of National Defence, commanders of different services of the Korean People's Army, commanders of its major large combined units, builders, and officials and employees of the museum.

The national anthem of the DPRK was played.

The participants watched a video dealing with the weapons and equipment newly armed with by the KPA.

Kim Jong Sik, member of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and first vice department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, addressed the ceremony.

Saying that the National Defence Revolution Museum serves as a proud review of the history of protracted and glorious development made by our munitions industry under the guidance of the WPK and an epitome of the level, appearance and capability of our national defence power, he stressed that the establishment of the museum representing and symbolizing the exploits performed by the Party for the country's today and morrow is the greatest celebration of its historic course of profound significance by the times and the people.

The strategic programme of the Party on defence development and the tasks for implementing it literally constituted a revolution for pioneering new defence science and technology and building a new munitions industry, he said, noting in an excited tone that Comrade Kim Jong Un initiated the gigantic revolution, unprecedented in the world's history of defence building, and has guided it personally.

Stressing that the museum, which comprehensively represents the great patriotic spirit, the defence building line and outstanding leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, is the greatest glory dedicated to the history of the WPK spanning 80-odd years, he said the museum clearly indicates the path to be followed by us and reconfirms the origin of our self-confidence.

He went round the museum with the participants in the ceremony.

Looking back with deep emotion on the sacred history of the Juche-oriented defence industry, which was pioneered along with the founding of the WPK and has undergone successful development, and on the stories recorded in the arduous course of pioneering the modernization of defence industry and beating its untrodden path, he said that the museum is the immortal archive and the greatest national treasure house that intensively and intuitively show how the dignity and security of the DPRK and the happiness of its people are defended and how peace of this land is achieved.

He proudly said that such revolutionary treasure as the National Defence Revolution Museum is a great historical one that can be possessed only by the WPK, which has strenuously taken the path, to be proud of and glorious before the country and posterity, without a moment's delay, and a precious monument which can be built only by the powerful state and people with their absolute strength powerful enough to defend themselves.

The level reached by our defence industry today is the zenith of glory and honour won with the spirit and strength of the DPRK and its people's resourcefulness, and a priceless victory brought about by the tenacity, patriotism and loyalty of the people who unconditionally supported and encouraged the WPK's original line of self-defence and policy of defence development in the face of severe trials and difficulties, he said.

Saying that it is the WPK's due obligation and peculiar mode of action to build the defence industry, most powerful in the world, as it was founded with its very mission to take full responsibility for the destiny of the people, he affirmed that the powerful Juche-based weaponry, which serve as stepping stones to dramatic promotion of the national position, will be developed and completed in a more strenuous manner through the course of unique development and evolution, alongside the scale and contents of the museum being further expanded and enriched with the passage of time.

He expressed belief that the officials and lecturers of the museum would fulfill their responsibility and duty as the red information workers and ideological guards of the WPK who convey the history of the self-reliant defence building of the DPRK forever, cherishing the great pride and honour of working at the WPK's revolutionary history museum.

The participants deeply realized the iron truth - we will always emerge victorious as the WPK guides the Korean revolution - and the vitality of the WPK's line of self-reliant defence.

Members of the Party central leadership hardened their firm will to remain single-mindedly loyal to the revolutionary leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who is powerfully demonstrating the dignity and greatness of the Party, state and people while leading the historic struggle for accomplishing the sacred cause of building a rich country with a strong army, regarding self-reliant defence as the mainstay for defending the sovereignty and national interests and developing the revolution. -0-

 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea(BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK (KFA UK )  issued a joint statement on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Down With Imperialism Union ;

On the 17th of October  1926 the revolutionary red banner of Juche was first raised in Korea with the formation of the Down-With- Imperialism- Union which was also known as the TD. The DIU was the first genuine communist revolutionary organisation in  Korea. The formation of the DIU marked a clean break with the stagnant  ideas of factionalism , flunkeyism and dogmatism  thus, it was a decisive leap forward in the task of building a revolutionary working-class party in Korea. The DIU  completely broke with opportunism and also the national reformism of bourgeois nationalists. As  comrade Kim Il Sung said to the meeting that founded the DIU

"Irreconcilable contradictions exist between the imperialists and people in the colonies  and these contradictions are sharpening  with the passage of time. Because these contradictions are antagonistic they cannot be settled by any kind of 'compromise ' and will only be solved when imperialism is overthrown"

  Thus the Korean revolution was set on the correct path. The foundation of the DIU by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung heralded the dawn of a new era of independence in which the popular masses became masters of their fate,masters of their destiny.

   Indeed as the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung said;

"The formation of this union, the first genuine communistic revolutionary organisation in our country , was the historic announcement of a new beginning for our revolution. With the formation of the DIU  our people's revolutionary struggle began to progress with the principle of independence and this was when our Party began to strike its glorious roots"

     The DIU proudly proclaimed its aims were to win independence and liberation for Korea, to carry out the socialist revolution in Korea, to build socialism and communism in Korea and to carry out the world revolution. Thus for the first time in history the lines of national liberation and socialist revolution were combined. Moreover the relationship between the national tasks of the working class and its international tasks was affirmed. Both the line of combing national liberation with socialism and the line of inter-relating the national and international tasks of the struggle were a prototype form of the Juche idea of the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung. Independence and self-reliance were the cornerstones of the DIU.                             

                                          

   The DIU was a new kind of revolutionary organisation founded among the youth and students of Korea . The great leader comrade Kim Il Sung had prepared the ground for the formation of the DIU by leading many struggles amongst the youth and students including a strike of school students against reactionary teachers. These struggles fostered core elements of the revolution. It was not formed from the factionalists who indulged in empty talk and who were divorced from the popular masses as they were drawn from the middle class , bourgeoisie and  ruined aristocracy. The DIU fought for the revolution on the basis of independence. As the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il wrote "The formation of the DIU was a historic declaration of a fresh start for the Korean communist movement and the Korean revolution. Now, the Korean communist movement and national-liberation movement bade farewell to the old generation, contaminated by flunkeyism and dogmatism, and welcomed a new age based on the principle of independence. The establishment of the D1U was the beginning of the struggle to found a new type of party, a revolutionary party of the Juche type, which was different from the one which had previously existed in our country"

   The DIU was the foundation stone of the Workers' Party of Korea.The idea and lines of the Down-Imperialism Union were brilliantly implemented and carried forward by the Workers' Party of Korea founded by the great leader comrade Kim Il Sung and developed the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il. As the great leader comrade Kim Jong Il in his work "The Workers Party of Korea is a Juche-type revolutionary party which inherited the glorious traditions of the DIU "..

Our Party which has followed a unique path since it started to take root with the formation of the DIU is a new type of revolutionary working-class party.

Ours is a Juche-type revolutionary party which is guided by the Juche idea and carried out its revolutionary activities independently and creatively in keeping with the interests of our people and conditions in our country. By establishing Juche thoroughly in all spheres of Party building and activity with the Juche idea as its unalterable guide, it has been able to strengthen and develop into an indestructible revolutionary party."

Under the leadership of the dear respected leader Marshal Kim Jong Un , the Chairman of the  Workers' Party of Korea , the Korean people and WPK carry forward the militant revolutionary anti-imperialist traditions of the DIU and are advancing towards final victory under the banner of self-reliance . We salute the 100th anniversary of the formation of the DIU. May the Korean revolution continue for another 100 years and a 1,000 years

Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- A celebration performance was given with splendor at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on Oct. 10, the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, now that the people's absolute confidence in the WPK, the great guide and invincible vanguard for the Juche revolution, is growing stronger along with the significant October holiday.

The WPK is ushering in an era of dignity and glory, a long-cherished desire of all generations of this land, while firmly preserving its revolutionary character and true nature, never to be found in other parts of the world, without any deviation and fading from the day when it solemnly declared its founding with the emblem representing the people embroidered on the red flag held aloft in Paektu. The venue of the performance was overflowing with deep reverence for the Party, alongside the audiences recollecting with deep emotion the sacred founding history of the Party and its immortal exploits.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, watched the performance.

Stormy cheers of "Hurrah!" went up among the audiences paying the highest glory and respect to Comrade Kim Jong Un, the great leader of the ever-victorious WPK, who is representing the dignity and mightiness of the DPRK.

Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly waved back to the enthusiastically cheering crowds as a token of his congratulations to all the participants on the Party founding day.

Among the audience were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and other leading officials of the Party and the government, officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs, creators, artistes, youth and students and other citizens in Pyongyang.

The performance began with prelude "Long Live the Workers' Party of Korea" and "Fly High, Our Party Flag". Put on the stage were all-people hymns to the WPK and patriotic songs, played in good artistic harmony with vocals, dance, acrobatics, gymnastics and military band's performance.

Enthusiastically singing the odes to the Party, produced by the sacred experiences of the people, the performers sang high praises of the glorious history and immortal exploits of the WPK that built on this land a dignified country, where people's dreams and ideals come true, and made great world-startling miracles and changes century after century, hewing the untrodden path of the socialist cause, arduous yet sacred, for over 80 years.

The audience fervently applauded the famous songs which made them feel proud of the greatness and mightiness of the WPK that has written the longest history as a ruling party in the world, fulfilling the most righteous mission and implementing the noble idea, reminding them of their great honor and fortune of having the wise political staff confidently steering our cause straight to victory.

Performers gave other colorful numbers representing the ardent desire and enthusiasm of the people determined to realize the far-reaching ambition for the comprehensive development of socialism, single-mindedly supporting their motherly Party.

The performance, which ended with the finale "The National Anthem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea", added to the conviction and optimism that the path being taken by the DPRK is always the one of justice and truth and an immensely beautiful and bright future is in store for it as it is led by the great Party.

The performance was highly acclaimed by the audiences for the songs of undying faith and patriotism.

Expressing satisfaction at the successful performance, Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly waved back to the performers and audiences.

 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and  the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  KFA  UK )  , issued a joint statement in support of the press statement of spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)  that was issued on the 9th of October ;

Recently the US State Department issued the "2026 Trafficking in Persons Report" which slanders the DPRK and run through with lies and fabrications .

The spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry declares that "This clearly proved once again the U.S. vicious and malicious intention to politicize and weaponize human rights and use them as the primary lever for its hostile policy toward the DPRK."

The US has indeed weaponised the human rights issue . The US is also trying to use the human rights issue as a lever for the overthrow of the socialist system in the DPRK.

The so-called "human rights reports " issued by the US state department  are nothing but interreference  in other countries affairs as well as regime change propaganda .

The spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry points out that " Human traffic has been an evil of American society for a long time, and it is also the U.S. "specialty" which is difficult to imitate.". This is very true . The US has been convulsed by the Epstein scandal in which women and children were trafficked deliberately to satisfy the degenerate desires of the ruling elite of the US and the Western world .

The publication of this so-called report by the US state dept reveals once again the hostile policy of the US towards the DPRK and its desire to overthrow the socialist system in the DPRK.

The DPRK Foreign Ministry declares it will take the toughest counter-action against the US "human rights "racket as well as other US hostility towards the DPRK .

We support the DPRK FM's declaration to take the most resolute and decisive action to defend its system !

 The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and  the  Korean Friendship Association of the UK  KFA  UK )  , issued a joint statement in support   of comrade Kim Yo Jong Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea important reclarification , through the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA ),of the stand of the government of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ;

On the 9th of October comrade Kim Yo Jong made clear through KCNA the consistent stand and judgement of the DPRK government towards the hooligans and gangsters of the ROK.

The ROK puppets are disguising their ill intentions towards the DPRK as " good will " . The  fabricated mine explosion  case and the so-called offer of "medical aid " are really just two sides of the same coin. Comrade Kim Yo Jong declares that "This time the duplicity and shamelessness of the ROK, which touted "humanitarian aids" for someone, have become visible to the naked eye."

Now the whole world can see the deception of the ROK puppets . The fabrication of the mine explosion incident and the offer of so-called "aid " are a mean trick to try and present the ROK puppets as being "reasonable " ,"friendly " and "peaceful ". Whatever short term gains that the ROK might get from this farce , in the long term it will lose more .

The DPRK in the future will not deal the ROK puppets . It plans to more decisively reject the ROK puppets . Comrade Kim Yo Jong categorically states that  "Upon authorization of our head of state and according to the general will of the people of the DPRK, I clarify that we will more definitely disregard and reject the human scum of the ROK in the future. "

The ROK are human scum and the DPRK is correct not to deal with them . We support the just and principle stand of the DPRK .

The Heyday of Strengthening the Whole Party

  The Workers' Party of Korea with the longest history of over 80 years as a socialist ruling party is ushering in the heyday of its development by holding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem as its supreme leader.

Line of Party Building in the New Era

  Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, put much effort into studying the theory on party building corresponding to the new era as the party is a guiding force and organizer of the revolution.

  One day, he visited the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK and gave a historic commemorative lecture to its teaching staff and students, in which he clarified that political building, organizational building, ideological building, discipline building and work style building are the orientation of our Party building in the new era.

 The orientation of our Party building is to strengthen the WPK into the one politically mature, organizationally strong, ideologically pure, strict in discipline and sound in work style as demanded by the new era.

  The world history of socialist movement gave a historic lesson that a ruling party politically immature, organizationally and ideologically unsound, and infested with indiscipline and wrong work style cannot lead the revolution correctly and serve the people properly.

  The orientation of the Party building in the new era is an original line advanced on the basis of scientific diagnosis after correctly examining the historical lesson of the world socialist movement and our realistic conditions.

  That day, Comrade Kim Jong Un affirmed that if our Party is firmly strengthened in the direction of political building, organizational building, ideological building, discipline building and work style building, it can strengthen its leadership ability and fighting efficiency and fully discharge its duty as the revolutionary Party responsible for the destiny and future of the people while not only carrying out immediate tasks of the party building but also solving prospective problems actively and systematically.

  The orientation of Party building in the new era based on the original idea and theory of Party building was officially adopted as a line of our Party at the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK held in late December 2022.

  The line of Party building in the new era is the general principles that provided a fundamental guarantee for accelerating the construction of socialism and communism.

For the Strengthening and Development of the Party

  The Workers' Party of Korea put on the normal track the system of regularly holding major Party meetings such as the Party congress, plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee and politburo meetings with the Eighth Party Congress held in January 2021 as the starting point, so that it can have proper leading position and appearance as the ruling party.

  One day, Comrade Kim Jong Un said short-term strategy and short-term review are important and stressed the need to regularize the convocation of the Party congress every 5 years and that of the Party plenary meetings between the Party congresses at the end or the beginning of every year after the Eighth Party Congress.

  He clarified the correctest lines, policies, struggle strategies, goals and strategic and tactical policies at the Party plenary meetings with his extraordinary idea and theory and outstanding leadership, leading the Korean revolution to a brilliant victory.

  Whenever the Party plenary meetings were held, the WPK went closer to the people and the people's trust in the Party became deeper. And the people had a deep understanding of the plan and intention of the WPK through the news of the Party plenary meetings.

  With the historic Party plenary meetings as an occasion, the WPK came to regularize its whole work and rally the whole Party and all the people more firmly around the Party Central Committee.

  It is the exploits noteworthy in strengthening the ruling power of the WPK that Comrade Kim Jong Un established the system of regularly holding major Party meetings in conformity with the leading position and function of the Party and ensured that its operation was improved.

  On June 1, 2024, the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK, which assumed its aspect as a prestigious revolutionary university training core cadres of the Party on the highest level, was inaugurated on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of its founding.

  In his commemorative speech that day, Comrade Kim Jong Un said the heyday of strengthening the Party raised its actual curtain at that point.

  The WPK will lead the Korean revolution only to victory and glory while more fully demonstrating its dignity and might under his leadership.
