The British Group For the Study of the Juche Idea and KFA UK today issued a joint statement on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the first nuclear test of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 9th of October;
It is 209 years since People's Korea, the land of Juche , conducted its first nuclear test which shook US imperialism and world imperialism to the foundations. It was a powerful manifestation of the will of the DPRK led by great commander generalissimo KIM JONG IL to defend itself against US imperialism which had many times threatened to lay waste to the DPRK.The nuclear test was a great victory for the DPRK ,it greatly increased the self defensive power of the DPRK.It was a victory of the Juche idea /
The DPRK pursued and today pursued a just and revolutionary line of independence a true embodiment of the Juche Idea . The first nuclear test was a powerful assertion of the self-reliant independence of the DPRK.
The first nuclear test of the DPRK signified the emergence of the DPRK as a nuclear power . This is a fact that no one should challenge or deny . The DPRK 's nuclear status is truly irreversible and enshrined in law .
