BGSJI and KFA UK support statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong titled "Constant deployment of U.S. strategic assets highlights urgency of the DPRK to bolster up its self-defensive nuclear war deterrent"

The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the statement of vice director  comrade Kim Yo Jong  that was issued on Monday 3rd of March and titled     "Constant deployment of U.S. strategic assets highlights urgency of the DPRK to bolster up its self-defensive nuclear war deterrent ";

  Comrade Kim Yo Jong , vice -department director of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea ,in her statement rightly  draws attention to the continuing provocations of the US against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) .

Recently the US nuclear carrier Carl Vinson strike group entered the Pusan operation base in the ROK again on March 2 under the pretext of "demonstrating the ROK-U.S. alliance and increasing inter-operability". Last year the Carl Vinson was involved in war exercises against the DPRK . Last year ,2024 , the US and south Korea staged the largest anti-DPRK war exercises .

The new administration of the US is carrying forward the policy of the previous administration against the DPRK . The US hostile policy towards People's Korea remains unchanged and they are even signs that it is hardening.

The US carried out drills against the DPRK on the 21st-24th of January and also fly B1B bombers across the Korean peninsula . On the 15th of February the US issued a joint statement with the Republic of Korea (ROK) calling for the so-called "denuclearisation " of the DPRK , a code word for regime change .

The appearance of the Carl Vinson in south Korea is a prelude to more anti-DPRK provocations including the "Freedom Shield " exercise . People's Korea will be compelled to take just self-defence measures against the US imperialists .

As comrade Kim Yo Jong states " The action-accompanied hostile policy toward the DPRK pursued by the U.S. at present is offering sufficient justification for the DPRK to indefinitely bolster up its nuclear war deterrent.

We will never confine ourselves to sitting still and commenting on the situation.

If the U.S. continues to renew its records in the anti-DPRK military demonstration, the DPRK will be naturally compelled to renew its records in the exercise of strategic deterrence."

We support and applaud the correct standpoint of People's Korea expressed through the statement of comrade Kim Yo Jong . The DPRK is not fooled by the US and not indulging in time wasting dialogue with the US but will strengthen its strategic deterrent.
