The British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea (BGSJI) and the Korean Friendship Association of the UK ( KFA UK) issued the following joint statement in support of the statement titled "The illegal violation of copyright by U.S. information dealers can never be tolerated" of the Korean Democratic Lawyers of the DPRK that was issued on the 3rd of March;
The statement of the Korean Democratic Lawyers Association revealed that the infamous NKNews , a US state sponsored conspiratorial anti-DPRK website had violated the intellectual property rights of the DPRK and the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (CHONGRYON)
NKNews and its affiliates such as NK PRO" and "KOREA PRO" have used material from the DPRK and Chongryon without permission and also for the purposes of anti-DPRK slander and disinformation .The website "KCNA WATCH", carried 600 000 pieces of information of over 70 kinds without permission.
The statement notes that " Chongryon, a dignified overseas compatriots' organization of the DPRK and authorized by the media of the DPRK, has strongly demanded the immediate deletion of the data, posted without permission, as well as compensation and apology several times since August 2024" . The NKNews clique apparently illegally used material from a state library in Europe.
We support the denunciation of the Korean Democratic Lawyers Association and would like to add our comments; NKNews also used pictures of KFA UK members without permission and without paying compensation . In 2013 NKNews illegally filmed a KFA UK picket of the south Korean puppet embassy and harassed it .
We support the call of the Korean Democratic Lawyers Association for the US to issue an apology and pay compensation . Ideally , NKNews should be shut down .
Down with the NKNews clique , imperialist falsifiers and liars !
