Defending People’s Korea with No Ifs or Buts in Staffordshire .




KFA UK Chairman Dr Dermot Hudson on 29.03.2025 visited the town of Burslem, Stoke on Trent in the north Midlands and participated in an informal meeting of the Staffordshire KFA UK branch and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea.


Dr Hudson said  that the 31st of March is the 43rd anniversary of the publication of the work “On the Juche Idea “ by the great leader comrade KIM JONG IL . In the work “On the Juche Idea “ , comrade KIM JONG IL systematised the Juche idea and created a structural system of the Juche idea including the philosophical principle and socio-historical principle.


The chairman of Staffordshire KFA UK branch and secretary general of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made a presentation on the subject  of independent and creative life based on the Volume 1 of the KIM IL SUNG Encyclopedia . He said that it is a demand of man (man being in the non-gendered sense to live as a master , to become the master and the creator .This is being realised in the DPRK there is a collectivist life and people have welded into a socio-political organism . Dr Hudson said that this is a unique achievement which made the DPRK different from other socialist countries.


Participants in the meeting said that more should be done to win students over to the Juche idea and away from certain counter-revolutionary opportunist ideologies such as Trotskyism .


Participants denounced the slanders of over-privileged , elitist middle class and bourgeois  tourists who do not understand the superiority of the socialist system of the DPRK. It was stressed that KFA members and Juche idea followers as progressive , peace campaigners and trade unionists should visit the DPRK .


The participants enjoyed local Staffordshire food including Wight’s pies and Staffordshire oatcakes.



In the evening the participants watched a DPRK documentary about Juche idea followers which featured the Russian communist leaders Nina Andreeva and Viktor Anipilov .


A tour of a local park was organised.
