Genuine Peace Rests on Strong Power

2024.10.14.
With the Gaza crisis dragging on for one year, the world media have recently released data on losses in Gaza.

As of October 7, 41,825 were killed and 96,910 were injured while the number of refugees reached 1.9 million.

125 schools and educational institutions were demolished and 336 buildings were partially destroyed due to the indiscriminate bombing.

What is more tragic is that these dreadful figures will not stop here.

The international community aspiring to a peaceful and righteous world is raising its voice of strong denunciation. Various countermeasures are taken by international organizations in their own way.

Yet all of them are by no means strong enough to stop Israel’s atrocious massacre being committed in demonstration of its absolute superiority in power.

Today, the humanitarian crisis in the region is spilling over into other areas beyond the Gaza Strip.

The reality is another proof that appeals from the international community or help from outside forces whatsoever can neither protect nor reclaim the right to existence of a sovereign state and peaceful life of its people.

Peace can only be brought by each and every country’s self-defensive capability. This is the serious lesson learnt from the crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, in his historic speech delivered in September on the occasion of the DPRK founding anniversary, declared that strong power leads to genuine peace and an absolute guarantee for the country’s development. He clarified that the DPRK’s military muscle will develop in an accelerated and continued way, and we will not set a limit to its attainment.

This is how the peace is maintained on the Korean peninsula where the world’s worst-ever confrontation lasts for more than half a century between socialism and imperialism and between revolution and counter-revolution.

The world will witness with envy and admiration, in the days to come, the eternal dignity of the DPRK and the happiness of her people that are flourishing thanks to the leadership of the great leader.
